Quick question… On the Shop Demo 11 what is used to create the “From The Blog” section (near bottom of demo) ? I looked through all the WP Bakery features and cant seem to find that layout. I currently have Shop Demo 12 installed and want to use it.

No need for Child Theme is you simply Customize using Custom CSS, you can put/paste your Custom CSS under Porto >> Theme options >> Skin >> Custom CSS and it will work for you and also if you want to use Child Theme you can simply use it as well.

Sometimes it may require your own customization. So if the development department finds it fit with the theme environment then surely they will look through it.

You can always get the latest updates of the Premium plugins with the Theme update in Theme Package OR You can download the latest plugin from here:

У меня вопрос а может и предложение. Также работаю с Bitrix что мне нравится в битрикс (сам не пишу, есть кодер который реализовывает мои идеи) Это возможность создавать шаблоны (Blocks) и цеплять их на целые разделы. Т.е мы пишем сложный шаблон по рядам со сложной структурой 10-20 рядов, каждый ряд можно отключать или включать в зависимости от нужд. Это очень удобно если работаешь с сайтами где услуги более 50 стр. и Новости более 100 и пр. Вы не рассматриваете такую возможность, а именно создавать шаблон страницы и подгружать его через настройки стр. С возможностью замены backgraund т.е изображений фонов и пр на самой стр. Но сам шаблон страницы редактируется в другой месте массово на всех страницах. Так было бы очень удобно.

And if you are using Child Theme with Customization Code/Files then please once check your site with activating the Parent-Theme as well and if you are already using the Parent-Theme then please once check with deactivating all the third-party plugins and check your site, hope your issue will solve and then again you have to activate all the third-party plugins one by one and check which one is creating an issue on your site, and if this also does not solve your issue then please check with cache, you have to first flush your server cache and then deactivate it and then you have to remove your site cache and deactivate cache plugins and finally check your site after removing the browser cache

Here is another reason to use custom icons: some FontAwesome icons do not want to be displayed, for example “fas fa-fan”... I urge Your developers to provide the ability to use custom icons in the main menu.
There is no way to add categories to menu items in the menu settings. I have to use the visual menu setting to add a category to the menu. After saving the settings in the visual menu all the icons of the FontAwesome, which were assigned in the settings of the menu, disappear. Please fix these errors.

This Icon “fas fa-fan”... is not working because this Icon is from FontAwesome version 5.10.x.. and Porto WordPress Theme is compatible OR FontAwesome Library included in the Theme till version 5.7, so you have to use the Icon till 5.7 version and it will work for you, and again this is already Noted and in our todo list we will update the FontAwesome Library in our Theme with future upcoming updates of the Theme, Hope this makes sense now.
Regarding “add categories to menu items”, Please go to Appearance >> Menu >> Click the Screen Options button on the top right corner of the screen >> Select the Product Categories Option >> Then you will see the Product Categories Menus in the below list to add them to the Menu. http://prntscr.com/fhhvws
