thank you for the fast update – I’m getting the error that files are outdated in woocommerce:

porto-child/woocommerce/cart/shipping-calculator.php version 3.5.0 is out of date. The core version is 4.0.0,

porto-child/woocommerce/global/quantity-input.php version 3.6.0 is out of date. The core version is 4.0.0,

I did the manual upgrade and still showing these these files are outdated, what is your process to update those files within the theme?

Can you please make sure that you have activated the Parent Theme on your site? If no then please activate the Parent Theme on your site and check back after removing the browser cache, I think it is your Child Theme Customization which is creating this issue on your site, If activating the Parent Theme solves your issue then please try to contact your developer to solve your Child Theme Customization issue for you and if not then please contact us via our support system with your site WP Admin Login details so we will check it for you.

This theme doesn’t support Stripe plugin? Are you kidding me? This is what your support said to me that Porto theme doesn’t support Stripe Plugin. I’m really disappointed with the support that you are providing. None of my issues were solved by your support. Every time I opened a ticket your support said “It’s not the theme issue it’s a plugin issue”. I can live with those small issues but with this Stripe issue I’m really losing my sales because most of the people on my website pay through Google Page/Apple Pay which isn’t supported by your theme. Now, let’s talk about, Theme Supported and not Supported plugins.

So, You can check and finds all the third party Theme Compatible plugins list confirmed from our end here:

Now the plugins not listed in the above list are not officially tested with the Theme.

I think it makes sense now.

And regarding WordPress plugins and WooCommerce extensions, there are hundreds of thousands of WordPress plugins and WooCommerce extensions are there and this is not possible to make compatibility with all the WordPress plugins and WooCommerce extensions.

Again, I suggest you please deactivate all the third-party plugins and update the Theme and Theme required plugins and flush and deactivate the server, site and browser cache and set the plugin setting properly again by following the plugin Doc.

Try on very fresh WP with scratch with the Theme and Theme plugins only and not server cache as well.

If you will find any issue then try to contact the plugin author first, If the Theme CSS hiding the button on your site for Single Product page then we can help you with overriding the Theme CSS using Custom CSS and as you told in your video that there is no HTML code on the Cart page, So again, this is not very simple, not only HTML but you have to Customize the Theme and WooCommerce Core PHO files as well, and we do not provide our Customization services for free, Try to contact plugin Author to Customize the plugin Core files for you for making it compatible with the Theme.

Ok, let’s go over the tickets again:

1) https://postimg.cc/xX9BFTcK I had issues with the Featured images and H1 tags so what your support did is that he just set display: none to featured image which I could have done myself but the problem was an extra image loading on my page. Well, I fixed that myself by going into the theme code and disabling the HTML for that image.

For the Breadcrumb he sent me a screenshot of code and said that there was no H1 tag and I was shocked because he wasn’t even looking at the right place. H1 tag was I’m not sure but above or below the line for which he sent me the screenshot. After that I recorded a video and before he even replied I looked into the theme files and fixed it myself.

2) https://postimg.cc/zbHQRyc1 I wanted to open a lightbox with a “CUSTOM BUTTON” as you can see in my ticked but what your support did was just create a page from one of the pre-made templates and asked me to look into it which wasn’t what I needed after that I had to use some CSS to style my Lightbox element.

3) https://postimg.cc/F1cqrJSy Like I said here everything is happening because of Cache and plugins and there are no faults in the theme as per your support. Well it worked fine automatically after sometime and I didn’t changed anything. :/

4) https://postimg.cc/rKkHKFGv First was fixed with the theme update and second was also because of Cache and third party plugins :)

Now let’s talk about Stripe.

This is a WooCommerce template, right? You should know that people are gonna use different payment methods on their website and I’m not talking about any payment plugin it is Stripe which is the most used plugin for payment processing. You should test your theme with this plugin and make it compatible.

Now on my Apply Pay Issue (https://postimg.cc/2LwgCPtq) your support agent said that I did not turned on Apple Pay and it is not configured properly and when I looked into the attached screenshot that they sent me I was like shocked. Before the breadcrumbs and now this? They were not even looking at the right place.

As for the Stripe and Google/Apple Pay I tried it without any extra plugins and I even tried on a fresh WP installation but still on products page it loads badly and on Cart page it doesn’t load at all.

As I said I will not bother your support any more just fix this Stripe issue for all of the Porto theme users.

1. Yes, The Support agent provides you the best possible solution, we are not required to Customize the Theme Core files, You have to do it by yourself, and Sound’s Good!! that you achieved what you want.

2. The Support agent provides you the best possible solution, You was not clear with your requirements or the support agent did not understand you properly so that the support agent provides you all the possible styles of that element, and again you want something which requires some extra Custom CSS, so you have to do it by yourself and Sound’s Good!! that you achieved what you want.

3. Again Sound’s Good!!, That it was the cache issue not the Theme and you claimed it.

4. Again Sound’s Good!!, That it was solved with the Theme update and you claimed it.

Ok, If the support agent did not understand your issue properly and was looking at the wrong place then there must be any misunderstanding between your and agent conversation, you should have to explain it again with small video clip like here, and as I said, you can simply fix the button on Single Product page using Custom CSS and for Cart page, you have to Customize the Cart template and add the plugin HTML code by yourself.
