Hi, I am reading here how to change the language strings. I am not tryign to use multilang website, I would just like to translate couple of strign from english to my language. I saw that this should be done in wp-content/porto/language in GB files, but i didn’t make change in there but on website is not reflected.

I made normal installation of theme with child theme, but in child theme i don’t have this file that is why i updated in parent theme. Any suggestions how to resovle this am i doing somethign wrong ?

No need to add to the Child Theme and nor change directly in the Theme Files. Lets first delete the complete language files that you have done and start from scratch with the Language.

You can translate the Complete Theme to any language as per your requirements using Loco Translate plugin, Please watch and follow the instructions showing in this video that how to translate the Theme using Loco Translate Plugin: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z_X4mELtYDM&t=20s and simply you can change any word translated as well as per your requirements by changing it into the Theme Language files using Loco Translate plugin.

Set your language files path as wp-content/languages/loco/themes it will not be overridden whenever you will update the Theme.

1. It has been added using Header Builder, Please go to Porto >> Theme Options >> Header >> Header Type >> Header Builder and edit the HTML element and change it as per your requirements as showing in this screenshot: https://postimg.cc/yknwPDK1

You can see in the screenshot that Block shortcode has been used under it, so you can add a new Block and use the Shortcode by following the same screenshot, it will work for you.

The navigation arrows in the portfolio area are switched. The arrow that should previous, goes to the next and the one that should go to the next goes to the previous.

I am sorry but I think you have not understand it, that how it works, let me explain you.

It works with bottom to start because your old Projects/Portfolios went at very bottom and the latest one appear at very top as showing below:

I want to buy the theme again but first I must test it in a subdomain that will not be the final domain, should I indicate this so that later it won’t tell me that the theme has already been used with that subdomain?

In other words, it only allows one license to use 1 wordpress and if you must first try the theme on another server with a different domain, can it be done ??

1. How many sites/domains you can use the License, The answer is only one, This is Envato Policy you may wish to confirm from them as well, Please read this article:

As you know that we have recently added the compaitability of the Elementor plugin with the Theme, So there is no pre-built Demo with Elementor plugin for now, All the Pre-Built Demo’s are made using WP Bakery plugin, So you can only Customize the Pre-Built Demo’s using WP Bakery plugin and if you want to use Elementor plugin then you have to start from Scratch.

But for your information, we are working on the upcoming Demo’s version, which you will find with the upcoming updates of the Theme and which will we built using Elementor plugins.

1. Yes, you can translate your site using Porto WordPress Theme in any language as per your requirements by following this video:

Sorry to say that but we have not tested those plugins with the Theme yet so we are unable to suggest to you on this if those plugins built properly by following the complete guidelines of WordPress then it must have to work properly with any Theme. The Images settings of the products are coming from WooCommerce, Please read the below-given articles:

This is the default functionality of the WooCommerce new version as it does not provide the option to set height for the product image. it automatically resizes the image based on its width you set.

Please try with the CSS given below once, Please copy and paste the below-given CSS code to Appearance >> Theme Options >> Skin >> Custom CSS and check your site after removing the browser cache.

If you want anything beyond it then it requires Customization.

And some of the product layouts are default Theme layouts with the huge size of images, those will only be altered via Customization, You can change the default layout setting using WooCommerce setting.

To disable the notifications from the plugin there is no option available in theme settings. Because the notifications are WordPress functionality and our theme doesn’t influence this.

You can try adding any third-party plugin that better meets your requirements.

Hey I’ve just purchased your theme yesterday and when I installed it, different things happened: 1- a huge decrease in the speed test of the site even after i removed some of the short codes in the speed optimization tab. ” I didn’t install any special plugins yet, except the ones you recommend to install”

2- I have been added a lot of images before the installation and it were looking very well at the default theme of wordpress. After installing the theme and using the regenerate thumbnail plugin as you advised, the images quality converted to too bad quality on the shop page and the thumbnails.

3- When I make an edit in the theme option, it don’t appear on the front end or some of them appear and the others don’t. Although, it appear on the customize window.

4- The quantity on shop page didn’t work except for 1

5- I want to know If I can add the quantity and add to cart side by side, and above of them the swatches to make the customers able to add from the archive page.

Default WP Theme does not have all the Options that Porto WordPress has, Default Theme does not have all the Custom Post Types that Porto WordPress has, Default Theme Does not have Header Builder, Porto Studio that Porto WordPress has, Default Theme Does not use any of the plugins like WP Bakery/RS, etc, that Porto has, so there is a vast difference between the default WordPress Theme and Other Premium Themes.

Now, If the Images were looking fine before and not now, you have to change the Size of the Images, You have not read the articles that I gave you for a single Time, otherwise, you would not have to ask again, Please try and understand and read the complete articles and do the following suggested in it.
