It’s not possible import demos, Dark Original installation is failed! The package could not be downloaded. I have imported all the demos and they all get the same error

We have recently added the latest Demo’s of Gutenberg and Elementor plugin in our latest update of the Theme, So if you are trying to Import the WP Bakery plugin Demo then please deactivate the Elementor plugin first and then try to Import the Demo and same as for Elementor Demo Import you have to deactivate the WP Bakery plugin, Otherwise, these both plugins will conflict with one another.

Height depends on the width, If you increase/decrease the width then with same aspect ratio the height will also increase/decrease, Please copy and paste the below given CSS code to Porto >> Theme Options >> Skin >> Custom CSS and change the value in the given code as per your requirements.

We can use this theme with one header any way but there is a problem more important than that.

I want to use “Select Box” in the mode of “Variation(attribute) selection Mode for some products.

And I want to use Image/Colour swatch for some products. How can you help me about it?

There is no option in the Theme Options to move the Category Description from top to bottom on the category page. But you can achieve it by following the steps listed below.

1. Please go to WP-Dashboard >> Blocks and create a new block.
2. Add/Write the Description in the particular block as per your requirements.
3. Save the block and click on quick edit and copy the block slug name.
4. Go to  Products >> Categories and edit the particular category.
5. After editing the particular category scroll below, you will find Content Bottom option.
6. Paste the block slug name in the Content Bottom Option and save change.
7. Finally check your site after removing the browser cache.

There are many bugs i am getting and even the support team is not able to help me in proper way. The theme does not import data showing error and support team tells its a server issues, on asking what is server issue, they too do know.

Also other issue, on selected the proper main menu style after some times it automatically changes in worst possible manner.

I want my money refund as this is worst theme i have seen .

I am mentioning this here again as i am not able to reply to my review.

As per your comment i should contact my hosting provider, but what is the issue is not informed to my by your team. Secondly, if its my hosting issues, than why demo content is imported from other themes which i have.

Also thirdly my server is cloud server so i have not kept any restriction so i think it is your teams responsibility to inform if restriction issue.

And the thing is you imported one data is good enough for the support you provided, and i have paid for able to use all the demo content. Also if your team would have checked than they would have known that issue is from the theme not server as while installing demo content i am getting option of Elementor but in-fact i have not installed that as suggested by your team member. than i think what review i gave is 100% good. So first check your system and bad performance of your support as well as your product .

Check previous comment from mfali728, now you again tell him also that it is his server issue. Man improve your product and than expect good reviews. Also i am complaining for the same with Themeforest as i need my money to be refunded.

Really sorry for the inconvenience but this is not true at all, there is no such issue in the Theme.

Your first issue, you were not able to Import the Demo content, we have helped you and Imported the Demo for you on your site, and it was your server restriction issue, your server was not allowing your site to communicate with our internal server for downloading the dummy data, but we have Imported the requested Demo for you on your site by using an XML file as showing in your support ticket: https://postimg.cc/R3bD41pd It is clearly showing in your support ticket that we have Imported the Demo for you on your site and you again want to Import the Demo and we have shared the suggestion of changing the hosting and solution to Import using XML with you in your support ticket.

Now, Regading the issue with your server, you have to check with your hosting provider that what restriction your server has, and if there is any issue with the Theme then it could not be Imported at my end and all the other thousands of Customer’s end. This is only at your end and it is your server restriction issue.

It’s because your server environment can not access to our server https://portotheme.com

Please try to ping our server and let us know if it works for you or not via your support ticket and also sorry to say that but we are not required to solve the server issues this is not included in Theme support policy and why not you try on any other restriction free server once? for making it sure that the issue is from your server or Theme??

using porto theme since very long for my other sites but today i got strange error, i purchase new license and setup everything perfectly fine on my new site but under demo import section it give me error “Shop 29 installation is failed! The Header Builder in the latest update seems broken. I updated the theme and porto plugin now I can’t edit the header with header builder. I see this error in the console and it’s the only error

This is not the Theme issue but this is your site any third party plugin confliction issue, please deactivate all the third party plugins and check your site after removing the browser cache I am sure your issue will solve and then again you have to activate all the third party plugins one by one and check which one is creating an issue on your site.

And also could you please purchase support extension to get further support? Your 6 months of support period is expired from 03/02/2017. According to Envato support policy, renewing support is required for further support.

I’m having trouble changing the thumbnail size of the featured blog photo on the primary blog page using the medium alt blog layout. I want these images to use a 1:1 (square ratio). In settings -> media I have it set to a square ratio for all 3 sizes. I also used the regenerate thumbnails plugin in hopes that would fix it without luck. How can I change this?

I wanted to post an update of how I accomplished this for others who may be having the same issue. I tried changing the size of blog-medium in functions.php with no luck. I ended up copying content-blog-medium.php to my child theme and changing blog-medium to portfolio-medium on line 67. Since portfolio-medium has a defined image size of 367×367 (blog-medium is set at 463×348) it now crops the image in a square rather than a rectangle. Problem solved.

I have never change anything with coding..so it’s not my fault..I am using your theme from last over 6 year but it sound very bad…it’s not thing i have change that place no body see add to wish list button i got many complain. Hello, we are already clients of your theme and very happy to use it but we now want to work with elementor plugin instead of WP bakery. As i can see you have released the new version with Elementor Demos so now we can use it for the pages instead of WP Bakery ?? another question is we use Elementor Pro so we can built our own header-footer…can we use it with your theme or we should only change header-footer from Porto options ? thanks

Look first of all you need to understand somethings.

​ ​WP Bakery and Elementor both are different plugins and you can not use both at the same time or on each other content, They will conflict.

​ Now, If you Imported the WP bakery Demo and trying to use or edit the content with Elementor Demo then it will surely mess all the things.

​ You have to Import the Elementor Demo and then try to set the pages and content using Elementor Demo, you will not find a single issue.

​ The conclusion is, You can not use the Elementor plugin while using WP Bakery and Vice Versa.

And You can create Footer and Header using Porto Theme Options only.

Thanks for sharing the suggestion/feature request with us, I am forwarding this to our development department for considering to add it in the theme, but I am not giving you the guarantee for that because please note that a theme cannot satisfy all requirements as it may occur theme heaviness. Sometimes it may require your own customization. So if the development department finds it fit with the theme environment then surely they will look through it.

I’ve installed Porto v. 5.3.0 and imported Demo Shop 10, but it looks like it uploaded an old version of the demo. If I compare the demo on my website and the live preview of the demo on your site they look different.

I wanted to use your theme with Elementor but every time I activate elementor, the site crashes. Elemetor is not full compatible whith porto ? I love porto for its features. And I’d really like to do without wp backery and use only elementor.
