hi, We installed a Pag Navi plugin on our website and we wanna add the number in blogs for Page navigation. Please let us know where we have to add the shortcode in file.

Plugin link : https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-pagenavi/

Hello, @scriptfeedsdev,

Sorry to say that but we have not tested WP-PageNavi plugin officially with the Theme yet, so we are unable to suggest you on it.

This is the third party plugin and requires Customization.

This requires customization. Item support does not include services to modify or extend the item beyond the original features, style, and functionality described on the item page. For customization services that will help you tailor the item to your specific requirements, we recommend to contact our customization team for paid Customization services or hire a developer.

Regards, P-THEMES.

Hi! Please update to WooCommerce 4.1 support!

Hello, @Acter,

WooCommerce 4.1 has been released only 10 hours ago, and we already tracked it. The latest Porto version 5.3.1 is already compaitable with the latest version of the WooCommerce, but only a single template of the Theme has become outdated with this version of the WooCommerce, but no need to worry, it will not create any issue on your site, You can update it on your site.

And we are working on the new Theme update with which we will update that template as well. So please be patience till that and Enjoy using Porto :)

Regards, P-THEMES.

Hi. I cannot install demos of the theme in any way.

Hello, @serhelguera,

Let me explain to you:

1

Here is the Screenshot:

1

We have recently added the latest Demo’s of Gutenberg and Elementor plugin in our latest update of the Theme, So if you are trying to Import the WP Bakery plugin Demo then please deactivate the Elementor plugin first and then try to Import the Demo and same as for Elementor Demo Import you have to deactivate the WP Bakery plugin, Otherwise, these both plugins will conflict with one another.

I hope it’s clear enough now, you can follow this video for Importing the Demo on your site:

https://www.portotheme.com/wordpress/porto/documentation/installation-video/

And also could you please purchase support extension to get further support? Your 6 months of support period is expired from 29/02/2020. According to the Envato support policy, renewing support is required for further support.

Thanks for your understand.

How do we edit this side bar

http://prntscr.com/sbhory

Thanks

Hello, @dilwsi,

When you edit Shop 19 Demo home page you will find an element named ”Porto One Page Category” right and there is no option in the element set to change/set the categories as per your requirements, It will take/show all the Products Categories that you have into Products >> Categories, so in order to add new Category you have to create a Product Category into Products >> Categories and it will automatically show on your homepage using Porto One Page Category element.

Like If you want to change the name or Icon from the left sticky menu you have to go to Product >> Categories and edit the particular Category you will find the Icon and name of the Category so you have to change the name of the category and icon from there and save changes then the menu icon and name will also change please see this screenshot: http://prntscr.com/kl2s5g

And also could you please purchase support extension to get further support? Your 6 months of support period is expired from 28/04/2018. According to Envato support policy, renewing support is required for further support.

Thanks for your understand.

Here when i do this icon not show unless we hover over https://i.imgur.com/aAAzM1m.png When we hover over show like this. https://i.imgur.com/E1509vb.png

But we want like your demo, please help.

Also yes we will renew support, thank you

Hello, @dilwsi,

You have to upload and set the white color icon then it will work for you the same as in Demo, your uploaded icon is in black color this is the reason it is not very visible on the black background color.

Hope this makes sense.

And also could you please purchase support extension to get further support? Your 6 months of support period is expired from 28/04/2018. According to the Envato support policy, renewing support is required for further support.

Hello, @sdjewels,

First, you have to go to Porto >> Theme Options >> WooCommerce >> Single Product and set/select Variation(Attribute) Selection Mode as Image/Color Swatch.

And then you have to go to Products and edit the particular product on which you want to set the Image Swatches, Scroll below to the Product Data Options >> Swatched and set the Image Swatches for variation from there as per your requirements.

why is WP Bakery “Visual Composer” never included with the updates for the theme? it’s a real pain having to install manually. Thanks

Hello, @dee-uk,

It’s released after our Theme update that is the reason, for now, download the latest plugin from the below-given article and update it on your site and we will update it in Theme with future upcoming updates of the Theme.

I was reading others comments and think i found my answer already but i want to ask just to be 100% sure.

I installed Porto, installed Elementor and Elementor Pro.

I installed Demo Content Shop 6 For Elementor (made sure it was for elementor)

When i create a new header under Elementor > Template Builder > Header and i build the header and then set its display for “Everywhere Site Wide”, the header appears site-wide, but it completely breaks the Shop page. The top banner from Shop 6 is gone, all of the products display full width on the page, and the left sidebar with the filters appears all the way at the bottom of the list of products. So the layout changes from Header then Shop Banner – then Left Sidebar + Products then Footer and changes to Header then Products then Left Sidebar – Then Footer.

Basically if i activate a Elementor built Header site-wide, it breaks the shop page and the products go full width and the left sidebar is now underneath the entire list of products.

When i right-click in chrome and inspect the code, the original working layout has normal css selectors and div classes but once i activate the header in elementor template builder, the CSS selectors and DIV classes for the ENTIRE page change completely to Elementor based selectors. So it seems as if activating the Elementor built header turns the entire Shop page into Elementor blocks.

What is going on, why would you even implement Elementor into Porto if the Header/Footer builder isnt even usable. That is one of the main draws for Elementor Builder and the reason probably 50% of people buy a license for it.

I dont think it is an issue with Elementor Pro because when i use the Porto header, the shop page’s css selectors and div classes are normal classes, but once i activate the Elementor Header, the entire pages css and div selectors all change to .elementor or #elementor. So it seems as if the demo imported Shop page is not built with Elementor, yet the imported demo was an “elementor” demo. The problem seems to lie in the fact that the shop page for porto is not built with elementor and thats what is causing the issues. Maybe you guys should FULLY adapt your theme to Elementor before advertising it as being compatible with Elementor. Because if you had built the shop pages from the start with elementor so that the div classes where elementor based, it would not be causing issues when the elementor header is activated. I narrowed down the problem to the entire pages selectors changing to elementor widget based selectors, which means the shop page that is included in all of the “elementor demos” is not actually elementor.

Oh and it is most definetly a problem with Porto, not Elementor Pro, because if i activate site wide header and then build a new shop page with Elementor Pro, and design it exactly like the Porto shop page, everything works fine. So, again, the problem is that the shop page is built with Porto css selectors, not elementor based widget selectors that they would have it the shop page was actually built with elementor.

Hello, @JohnCorsner,

I think you have not read my last reply properly, As I explained in my last reply:

That is because the Elementor Pro plugin but Elementor Header and Footer Builder plugin is conflicting with the Core feature of the Porto WordPress Header Builder and Footer Widgets.

The shop page is an Archive page and you can not directly edit it and we have built it by following the complete rules of WP and Elementor.

The only issue you are facing is the header distort issue when you built it using Elementor Header Builder and Footer Builder plugin which is conflicting with the Theme Core Header Builder. and This is not the Elementor but the Elementor extension issue, So I again suggest you to once contact with plugin Author, and then contact us via our support system with plugin Author reply.

I want to hide the social links / icons from the mobile menu in the header since they are already shown in the side navigation. This will clean up the space in the header (only the hamburger and the logo). On desktop however the socal links should be shown of course in the header next to the menu. How can I do this?

Hello, @lensbreak,

This can be simply remove using Custom CSS, please share your site URL so that I’ll check and provide you the Custom CSS for it.

Regards, P-THEMES.

Hello people at Porto. We will use Porto. Our project (after long delays) is finally getting up and running. One question. Not support related but we need some info.

We want to expand Porto functionality. We are working with large wholesale retailer – which is working on Magento – not Woocommerce. Bu that doesn’t matter. What we want to do is to copy their wholesale bulk add to cart table. We have their approvals and all that. That table on their website is optimized for bulk ordering and there is no plugin for woocommerce which can do that. As far as we know it.

That being said we are looking to find someone who can estimate work for us and tell us price for that work. Basically we would like to know is that what we want possible to do inside Porto or not? – So we thought that it’s best to ask theme creator first – since you are most knowledgeable about your own product inner working.

So basically our question is: do you offer theme customization work, if not can you recommend someone you know? Where can we contact you?

Hello, @magnumko,

Yes, This requires customization. Item support does not include services to modify or extend the item beyond the original features, style, and functionality described on the item page. For customization services that will help you tailor the item to your specific requirements, we recommend to contact our customization team for paid customization services or hire a developer.

Please contact us via our support system or via our email newsmartwave@gmail.com so that we will share the customization department email with you.

Regards, P-THEMES.

Yes we are aware custom work is not subject of your support. We will contact you at that email in the next few days. We need to prepare description so that your devs. can clearly see what we want. Thanks a lot!

Hello, @magnumko,

Yes, Sure.

Regards, P-THEMES.

Hello,is there a way to set a different menu for mobile?

Hello, @equalitygr,

First of all, thanks for showing your interest in Porto WordPress.

Sorry to say that but this is not possible using Theme Options.

Regards, P-THEMES.

Hi, I bought your theme back in 2019-01-07 , and the support is expired.

Last week I faced a problem on Bluehost server and I deleted all the files using FileZilla, and maybe I forgot to deactivate the theme, now I am not able to use the theme at all because of license issue, it there anyway if you can reset the Purchase code for me and destroy the old one, I really appreciate your support in advance.

You replied me :

Hello, @Wolfsbane,

I have reset your purchase code, now you can use the same purchase code for registration of your theme.

But still I am getting the same error, “The package could not be downloaded.” I contact BlueHost and this their answer:

Main Demo installation is failed! Purchase Code is not valid!!!

Please provide this error to Theme vendor . So they will hep you to fix that.

Hello, @Wolfsbane,

I have reset the same Code and now again I have reset your purchase code, now you can use the same purchase code for registration of your theme.

Now first activate the Theme again on your site with same purchase code.

And then Let me explain to you:
