Thinking of purchasing Porto | Multipurpose & WooCommerce Theme…..

I need to confirm the following:

I have different customers and I am creating one brand portfolio for each one. These are hosted in my website. So my first question is:

1) Can I install the Portfolio 2 on my existing Wordpress website (Different folder)? Example

www.mydomain.com/PortfolioThemeA www.mydomain.com/PortfolioThemeB

2) If the answer is yes, can I convert these brand portfolio into a shop. In other words, the portfolio currently in the demo with option the purchase each item? Example: Company A has their own Brand promotional products available for employees to purchase

3) If the answer is yes, is there a way to have this portfolio available only for logged in customers?

First of all, thanks for showing your interest in Porto WordPress.

1. All ThemeForest products allow One license for each domain on which you will install the theme (multisite installation does not matter though).

So regardless of a number of clients, the license works with a number of domains. So if you are building 10 websites, you need to purchase 10 regular licenses for that, etc… These are license usage policy of ThemeForest (and we have no control over this), you may wish to confirm from Themeforest here:

There is no unlimited usage license.

2. You have to use WooCommerce for it, WooCommerce provides the store functionality and you have to create your own Shop using WooCommerce plugin.

3. Obviously, WooCommerce by default provides the functionality to restrict users to purchase without logging.

Suggestion!

As much as I love this theme and use it on several of our sites. It would sure be nice not having to pay my plugin developers extra money to block your theme css style sheets from the admin area.

Of all the themes I deal with this one is the most laziest developed. The themes css style sheets are coded on a Global scale instead of the frontend them only. SO we had several plugins effected by this and we had to even develop special plugins to be made just to block your themes style sheets from altering the admin area.

So it would be nice if your developers would correctly code your theme to prevent loss of money and time.

Overall I am very happy with the theme.

All the CSS has been added for some particular purpose. There is no extra or useless CSS.

Porto Comes with default Speed Optimization Wizard Option, you will find under Porto >> Speed Optimization Wizard, So you have to use it and Minify the JS and CSS from there as well and use any third-party plugin for Compressing and Optimizing your site Images and also use server cache as well.

Thanks for sharing the suggestion/feature request with us, I am forwarding this to our development department for considering to add it in the theme, but I am not giving you the guarantee for that because please note that a theme cannot satisfy all requirements as it may occur theme heaviness. Sometimes it may require your own customization. So if the development department finds it fit with the theme environment then surely they will look through it.

I have just updated my website to Woocommerce 4.1.0 Since then, I get this message on my Backoffice : “Your theme (Porto) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files. These files may need updating to ensure they are compatible with the current version of WooCommerce.”

Porto 5.3.1 is supposed to be fully compatible with Woocommerce 4.1 but there seems to be some compatibility issue nonetheless. What is happening exactly?

WooCommerce 4.1 has been released only 10 hours ago, and we already tracked it. The latest Porto version 5.3.1 is already compatible with the latest version of the WooCommerce, but only a single template of the Theme has become outdated with this version of the WooCommerce, but no need to worry, it will not create any issue on your site, You can update it on your site.

And we are working on the new Theme update with which we will update that template as well. So please be patience till that and Enjoy using Porto :)

This is just the cache or file permission issue nothing else. After updating the Theme you have to go to Porto >> Theme Options and click on save changes button, and please read and follow the instructions written in the below-given article:

1. Things you should do first:

|.   Make sure you have everything up to date (Theme, Plugins, Translations files)
||.  Remember to reset ALL cache etc after a plugin or theme update.
|||. Disable all plugins except WooCommerce and recheck if the issue persists
|V.  Check the browser dev console on errors (F12, on most if not all browsers)
V.   Double-check your own Custom CSS, or Custom Snippets in function.php is causing it

In my language, “SELECT”=”ΕΠΙΛΟΓΗ” but in lowcase “select”=”επιλογή”. When the word is with uppercase, it should be like this “ΕΠΙΛΟΓΗ”. However at the moment is “ΕΠΙΛΟΓΉ”.

Hi folks, loving the look of the theme so far but have some Pre-Sales Questions: :grin: ● Are all demos available in both WP Bakery and Elementor? Although I prefer WPB, our client may find it easier to edit in Elementor.

● I see the theme is 5 years old. Congrats on the 45k+ sales. I just want to check and make sure that this theme will continue to be supported for years to come (as we’ve just been burnt by another theme developer who stopped providing updates and support 6-9 months after purchase).

porto/woocommerce/myaccount/form-login.php version 3.6.0, Core is 4.1.0

Your changelog declares WC 3.2 support. Do you have a problem, because it’s been 2 years for the 3.60?

We want to purchase your theme for one project, multi-vendor platform, but before we have several questions:

1) We want to include several user roles (like bulk buyers and etc) so each of them have separate price for the products, so we plan to use following WooCommerce Plugins: Role Based Pricing for WooCommerce; Custom User Registration Fields for WooCommerce; both plugins are from WooCommerce. I hope it won’t have any issues with the theme. 2) Will Store owners be able to generate coupon for their products? 3) On vendor page we want to allow them to put an image banner, like advertisement, so they can change them from time to time. Just one image, I hope it will be capable for them. 4) We plan to have up-to 20,000 product. We’ll provide all server side optimizations and woocommerce optimizations, theme will handle it, right? there are no limitations on that side?

1. We have not tested both plugins officially with the Theme yet, so we are unable to suggest you on them If you want you can try them If those plugins built by following the proper guidelines of WP and Woo then they will not create any issue on your site.

2. Yes, This is the default functionality of the WooCommerce and yes you can do it easily by following WooCommerce Doc:

Porto WordPress is fully Compatible with Major multi-vendor plugins like Dokan, WC Vendors and Yith WooCommerce Multi-Vendor plugins and Dokan MultiVendor plugin also comes with the Theme Package as well so you can use any one which better meets your requirements and it will be the plugin functionality, It’s not the Theme functionality.

4. Yes, there is no limitation from the Theme for it.
