I have tested it in deep and finds the same issue as you reported, The Filter with the “Porto Products” Widget for Guttenberg is not working fine, I am forwarding this issue to the development department for testing it in deep and try to solve it with the upcoming updates of the Theme. Hi There, We are struggling with the pagespeed score we tried a lot of things now but it is not good, very poor to say the least—> mob 20 / desktop 50. We are using WP-Rocket. It is not a big store with a lot of products. We are trying to use only necessary plugins.

We also tried the Porto speed wizard. With little or no results. Plz your reaction.

First of all, we would like to tell you that Google very often scores with 20-40 points mobile performance for 99% of websites built with WordPress.

To get more points you need to have a really light page. For example remove all sliders, carousels and leave a few banners and products only.

Then you will get a high result. But usually, our theme works very fast on mobile devices and don’t have any problems with performance.

We suggest you test it on a few mobile devices and you will see that there are no real performance problems.

Google PageSpeed gives you recommendations on how to improve the performance of your web site, but it does not actually measure the speed (aka loading time) of your website. If your site loads fast, you can safely ignore PageSpeed’s recommendations.

The traffic depends on a lot of different factors and not our theme only. The only argument from you was your website’s low score on Google Pagespeed.

But it can’t be because of that if your real website speed is quite fast.

We suggest you read an article from the WP Rocket team – one of the most experienced companies in terms of WordPress optimization.

This is clearly showing in the above links that the Speed of the site is slow because the Images have not been optimized and Compressed and because of JS and CSS has not been minified and because of the Server as well.

Porto Comes with default Speed Optimization Wizard Option, you will find under Porto >> Speed Optimization Wizard, So you have to use it and Minify the JS and CSS from there as well and use any third-party plugin for Compressing and Optimizing your site Images and also use server cache as well.

Basically the Speed of the site is something which can be achieved using Customization, So I only able to suggest you the tested solution, Please read and follow the instructions written in this article:

Hi. It seems I am trying to change the options in the “OLD PANEL” but changes are not being reflected right away when I save the changes.

Why is that?

For example I changed the “call us contact number” using the old panel but nothing happened. It changed right away when I used the live option panel.

I am now trying to change the theme colors “primary color, etc” to match the color of the logo but it’s still RED (default)

What options are available in the OLD PANEL? It’s easier to make changes there.

You can not change the “call us contact number” from Theme Options because it is added as Custom HTML and it is coming from Porto >> Theme Options >> Header >> Header Type >> Header Builder, so you have to change it from Header Builder which you will find under New Theme Options Panel or under Customizer as showing below:

How do I remove space occupied by Header Top? I have turned off SHOW HEADER TOP but all it did was the remove the contents. The space by PORTO BLOCK is still there.

This is not the Theme issue but your site any third party plugin confliction issue, please deactivate all the third party plugins and check your site after removing the browser cache, I am sure your issue will solve and then again you have to activate all the third party plugins one by one and check which one is creating an issue on your site.

OR

Please do the following debugging processes one by one I am sure it will help you in solving your issues.

|.   Make sure you have everything up to date (Theme, Plugins, Translations files)
||.  Remember to reset ALL cache etc after a plugin or theme update.
|||. Disable all plugins except WooCommerce and recheck if the issue persists
|V.  Check the browser dev console on errors (F12, on most if not all browsers)
V.   Double-check your own Custom CSS, or Custom Snippets in function.php is causing it

Hi, I am trying to set the footer to 3 columns, but no success so far. I tried through the customizer changing the footer type and also emptying the 4th footer widget but it just stays with 4 columns and a blank space on the right. Also tryed “customize footer columns”, but no matter what it stays with 4 columns. I imported the shop 23 demo content.

Please go to Porto >> Theme Options >> Footer and turn ON the “Customize Footer Columns” and set “Widget 1,2,3 as 3 Columns” as showing below:

Hello, I am looking for a theme for a shoes store. Your theme looks great. But I have 2 presale questions.
1. I need to show available sizes at every product on products list (shop / archive / catalog).
2. Also I need to group half-sizes into bigger groups and this groups would be filters. E.g. When you click 37 – it will filter 36.5, 37 and 37.5. Is it possible? Or will the theme be compatible with this BeRocket plugin: https://berocket.com/l/filters-upgrade/?
These options are critical to me.

1. Yes, you can simply show the Product Size’s, Color’s on Shop/Category, and Single Product Pages.

2. The filter is the default functionality of the WooCommerce our Theme does not have any influence on it, and I am sorry to say that but we have not tested that plugin yet with the Theme officially so we are unable to suggest you on it If you want you can try any third party plugin with the Theme which better meets your requirements.
