I love this theme. I love the super fast and great support and i love the easy internal update mechanism. There are not much themes that have this buildin update ability. But this theme has had it since day one. I am using this theme now for years and never had a single problem. Can’t wait to see the next update where new abilties have been added. It is worth every penny spend. Anybody stating something different does not value all the work put in this theme and the team behind striking multiflex supporting all their users.
Thank you for your kind words.
We continue to work hard on maintaining support for our customers. We are glad you appreciate it.

Hi, Is it possible in your theme to add an additional button before or after “add to cart” button?
Hi:
Yes. We have a theme filter as part of the add to cart loop which can be modified with your extra button. But you do have to know how to code in php.

Hi,
I am unable to update my theme. The purchase code is already saved on the system, but I tried copying and pasting again and it still keeps failing.
This is what is says:
Download failed.: Please input your purchase code

I can’t login to your support page due to renewal issues.
Also, if I use FTP to update the theme, will it not override the settings? Please let me know.
Thanks, Karan

https://kaptinlin.com/support/by doing that, will it not reset the settings on Wordpress?
I tried downloading the linked file, but it is just a .png that downloads. I tried both safari and chrome browsers. Kindly check. Thank you!
HI:
Please log into the support forum and you can download and install the file.

Hi Kaptinlin, I am unable to login because, I bought the theme around 2012.
Hi Karan:
Your license support has to be renewed. This is why you cannot use the internal updater or log into the support forum. Log into your account here at ThemeForest, then go to your Downloads page to view your purchases in the Envato marketplaces. Just below the Striking icon will be a text hyperlink “Renew Support Now”. Once you have renewed you will be able to use the updater, obtain help and access future updates which are distributed directly from the updater api.

Hi Kaptinlin, aren’t the updates free for lifetime under Envato’s guidelines?
Hi
Yes, updates which are uploaded into ThemeForest repository are free, and you can download the full theme package via the downloads panel of your Envato account and then install it by ftp..
After one’s license support 6 month period has expired the only entitlement a purchaser retains is discretionary updates authors have uploaded to Envato.
You can read more about Item Support here:
https://themeforest.net/page/item_support_policySo when we load updates into Envato you can download them and manually install them into your website. The internal theme updater is tied to the Envato license system so if one’s support is expired the envato api will block the update install by that method. The support forum is tied to the Envato license system and has the same restrictions as support expires 6 months after purchase.
I would strongly recommend to any and all purchasers that they update as not all updates produced by theme authors are uploaded into the theme repository and with an expired license one will not have access to some updates until they are uploaded. And of course you have no support access either. Many theme and plugin authors won’t even acknowledge a remark here in the comment thread if they don’t see the supported badge (only authors see this button when logged in) beside your name.

Striking Support Forum
missed some words above:
I would strongly recommend to any and all purchasers that they renew their licenses as not all updates….
In fact many authors have 100% segregated their custom functions from their base theme and they can never be accessed unless the license is valid. Several other theme builders whom we help with coding (many themes and plugins outsource their coding) work this way.
For Striking MultiFlex we introduce them into the core theme when we update the downloadable theme at Envato. But we do release some updates in-between that are only available via our api (which confirms license support before allowing installation) between the full theme builds published here at Envato.
The reason is simple. Its a lot of work to prepare a submission for Envato. It can take weeks sometimes to prepare a new submission. So many authors don’t bother other then on a very infrequent basis, and some not at all.

Our website is hosted on a local server. I need the frame builder plugin file to install via FTP. Where do I find it?
Hi Potato Designs:
Please send us an email to:
support @ thethemebuilders. com (remove the spaces)
referencing this comment. Provide your license key so that it can be validated (we don’t see the support renewed button beside your comment) and we will contact you with the frame builder plugin.
Its interesting as we chatted with Envato a while ago and as licensor the official position is, as we understand it, that a staging site which is a separate top level domain (so not a url such as abc.yourwebsite.com) and not a subdomain and thus also could be a localhost site, or two top level domains which may in fact be clones. say abc.com and abc.co.uk each require a separate license.
I am assuming you have a localhost for development and a live site as this is usually the case when we encounter this type of request.
As developers we can grant an override for this situation as long as the principal license is up to date on support.
Send an email with the above license code in good support standing and we can get your situation fixed.

8+ year Striking user here,
I understand you’re trying to make some type of income after years of supporting your customers. However, doesn’t monetizing the ‘free’ support forum go against everything you guys believed in? Sure, I can search the forum, but I can’t even log-in to the ‘free support forum’ without paying for support on the marketplace.
This statement found on your support page: ‘provide free help for usage questions at our Striking support forum found http://kaptinlin.com/support/' isn’t exactly true anymore. I can’t even post/notify you of a bug unless I pay $38.50 for 6 months of support.
Whether this be a themeforest/envato/marketplace regulation or not, this is not the Striking I used to know. Will Champion be like this as well?
Hello
Our guidelines were written long before the changes at Envato for support. The next update of Striking is going to have revised language about support and what will be provided. We had forgotten about that support page here at ThemeForest (I wrote it in 2012) and it will be amended shortly.
What we do believe in, and always have believed in is providing great support. Now we have to follow the rules and guidelines in order to provide that support but that is separate from the quality of the support itself. The release of well over 200 updates between Striking and Striking MultiFlex has been a major component of that commitment.
Were you to find a bug we could be emailed, and even contacted via our profile here. Bugs that have effected our customers have been so rare we often go a yr or more before one is reported to us. We would also still respond to a true usage question posed by email. We are looking to see if we can carve off a segment of the forum for pure usage (but not design help) questions but that is still under examination.
WP Champion is not a product we market via Envato. So we can and do have a support process that is more similar to what Striking owners have had access to in the past. But it also has annual renewal fees. They are more then double the Striking renewal costs, and everyone of the 3k owners so far knew that in advance and still made the upgrade.
Renewal fees are not about making some extra gravy income. It takes an enormous amount of work to continually maintain a product. That work cost money. Renewal fees offset that cost. They offset the marketplace costs to maintain the Envato marketplace.
We responded to someone else the other day about this matter who messaged at the forum and we asked them: if they sold a product to someone 5, 7, 9 yrs and even 10 yrs ago – as Striking has been around 10 yrs as of October, do they still provide service for free to the buyer? And if you purchased 8 yrs ago you purchased for $35.
In any case it is what it is. Our theme owner base got a lot of extra yrs at no extra cost. Sadly the days of a free ride are over. We have spoken with many customers (I personally with about 200 on this matter) and I have only encountered half a dozen who were not understanding of the matter. Each will have to decide what is in their best interest and proceed on that basis. But if we did not make the change it would game over for Striking and then no one would benefit.
Thank you for your thoughts and questions on this matter and we hope you understand our position. Whatever you decide we wish you the best of luck with your website(s).
Best Regards

I purchased the product a few years ago. Now I can’t update (ERROR message ‘Please input your purchase code’) and a file is required to download from the Support site. BUT I don’t want support, I don’t need it, you cannot force me to pay for support. I just want to update the version. Could you tell me how I get it? Thank you.
Hi
The solution on how to update is available in our forum. https://kaptinlin.com/support/discussion/comment/52996#Comment_52996
The theme internal update function as well as all theme support is tied to license support as per marketplace rules. But you always are entitled to download the full copy of the theme via the downloads section of your themeforest account. And then update your website by ftp.
Striking Support Team
MultiFlex = Your Site Your Way!
https://kaptinlin.com/support/discussionsThanks. I know how it is updated by FTP. So, I will have to make a child theme.
Hello:
A child theme starter is supplied in the full download package.
BTW, it is not us “forcing you to pay for support”. The way the marketplace works is that when you purchase a license of any software you obtain support for a certain time period. Once the support period has expired you have an ongoing right to download any updates via your Downloads if the author (us in this instance) continues to provide updates. But nothing else. That is the marketplace licensing setup and we are required to adhere to it.
Thank you for your understanding of this matter.

I am a Striking customer for 9 yrs now! I just posted a review (5 stars) and I am cross posting it into the comments as I think people often see comments first.
It is difficult to choose which of the main rating options is the best to highlight. I settled on Flexibility as my experience is that Striking MultiFlex works with everything I have thrown at it. It never has bugs or crashes, the customer support is beyond words in quality, and the code quality is impeccable – never any errors when I turn on debug and it loads extremely fast.
I have two sites and one uses Striking, and the other I have upgraded to their WP Champion Professional Theme.
Its incredible to me that I bought a theme at Themeforest 9 yrs ago (almost 10) and it still works. I read somewhere that most WordPress themes are good for 18 months to 2 years. So this is likely one of the best investments I have ever made.
I am a very satisfied customer. Thank you Striking Developers. Your products are awesome.
Hello belenses:
Thank you for your kind words about our theme and our support. We appreciate your patronage.

Your latest update breaks Striking MultiFlex version 2.0.0. I used the Dashboard via WordPress to update. After updated the front page along with several other pages just showed all the code before any content. Such as [one_third] [iconbox icon= etc. I had to revert back to Striking MultiFlex version 2.0.0 for the images to come back. Please advise on why this would do such? Never had problem with your updates before. Thanks.
I just saw this, “2) Upon completion of theme installation you will see a prompt to install a “Theme Framework Extension” plugin, as well as update the Rev Slider. Do both of these immediately.” However I didn’t see them prompt up any where? Will they prompt at the top after update?
Hello:
Our update of course does not break Striking MultiFlex 2.0. As we said in the release notes we had to change the theme core due to Envato requirements and the manner in which one updates has changed as a result of the Envato required theme core changes. However, updating correctly will result in your website appearing identically to prior to the update with all the same functionality as we have historically provided for the last 10 yrs.
The entire instructions for updating are contained in the release thread on our support forum:
Striking MultiFlex Ver 2.1 Update Methodology and Changelog
If you have any questions please post them on the support forum. Theme support is only provided on the support forum.

https://kaptinlin.com/support/Hi, I have been a long time Stirking user with the Child Theme (since 2010). As i try to update to 2.0 it now wants a purchase code, which is on the site, but it was put there by the original developer (Fresh Consulting), so I don’t have access to any purchase history. Do I need to buy a new license? Can you also reach out about doing the install and what that would cost. I don’t want my site to break. Thank you.
Hi Serious Insights 2020:
You have had an amazing run of luck without knowing it. We are the only theme from 2010 that is still supported in the marketplace to our best knowledge – 10 yrs use out of a wp theme is verging on a world record! There are actually quite a number of you who purchased way back then and still are using Striking. As well, you actually don’t own the license that you are using on your website so you should in fact be purchasing your own license for the obvious legal reasons.
But we should talk. Yes we can do the updates but you have some options on both theme purchasing and updating. Can you please send an email to:
support @ thethemebuilders .com (remove the spaces)
referencing the comments here. Include contact info so we can also phone you. It will be one of the team in North America who contacts you. Please indicate your timezone and some contact times that work for you.

is your theme compatible with visual composer, or WBakery or both of them?
Hello rtaskin:
Thanks for inquiring. We haven not tested the visual composer with our newest release (Ver 2.0 dd 11 August 2020). We are aware of theme owners who have that plugin installed and none have come back reporting any issues after updating. Regretfully that is all we can advise at this time. We do wish to be upfront and advise we do not go out of our way to code for visual composer integration.
More of our userbase has shifted to Elementor and as we offer our Striking owners an upgrade path to our WP Champion Professional Theme which has Elementor and several premium Elementor addons built in, more of our focus has been in that direction recently.
That said we would be surprised if there were any major issues.

Thanks Striking MultiFlex developers!
I reviewed the instructions for updating to Striking MultiFlex 2.0 carefully and saw their warnings about many plugins not being WP 5.5 compatible. This saved me a lot of grief. Even now 3 weeks later some of my plugins are having many bugs for the new wordpress release. Your post for the Striking updated really help me understand wordpress kept the changes very low key and so most theme and plugin miss the core script change. But you did not and my site works just fine after updating!
My update of Striking went flawlessly, as usual. I just used the theme function for updating, a one button click and in 3 seconds it was done.
The support and quality of Striking is beyond words – it is the best buying decision I have ever made for something web related. I gave you 5 stars a long time ago and really you deserve 10 stars. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Hello Korax:
Your welcome. Watch for Striking 2.1 coming out soon!
Yes we avoided all the problems that have occurred elsewhere as we carefully coded for WP 5.5 starting over 3 months ago. So our theme owners have enjoyed a flawless upgrade with no issues and none of the errors that occurred elsewhere. It was not easy requiring many, many hours of work. Many java functions in use in themes are based on open source scripts that in some cases have not been maintained in a long time and are certainly not compatible with new jquery.
So we recoded all that java ourselves for updated compatibility. The result is worry free updating for you.

I am a professional website designer and purchased my first Striking theme license in 2012 and have never regretted the many licenses I have acquired of it since that date. The capabilities of the theme have grown over the years and it is meticulously supported and always works 100% of the time with everything I throw at it for plugins and customization. The theme support team is incomparable to any other…worth their weight in gold.
When I look in my download dashboard all I see is theme after theme no longer in the marketplace other then Striking MultiFlex. I have read it is the longest supported theme at Envato and I believe it. I have bought so many licenses that I’ve lost count at this point. I would never consider another theme due to the code quality, the customization abilities, its flawless ability to work with every plugin I have ever tried as well as the incredible maintenance track record for theme updates, and support.
They say in their own marketing blurb that every time WordPress or some other major update occurs a theme update is sure to follow. I attest this to be true. I have version 2.0.0 of MultiFlex installed now on all my Striking sites. Flawless update and easy to do with the theme updater function – one click of a setting and all done!
I don’t just highly recommend the Striking. It is the only theme at Envato I recommend.
Thank you Striking MultiFlex developers!
Very kind thoughts. Thank you.

I inherited a theme for client v 1.2.4 Premium, Child 0.24, I don’t have the purchase code and I don’t think client does, not able to create account on support forum to research for php/mysql and theme upgrades, what should I do, buy extended 12 month support plan?
Hi:
Yes. In this situation your client would have to repurchase. Once done you can post on the support forum and we will provide you some guidance.
Also be advised that although ThemeForest does not show an updated since March 2019 that is in fact complete bull. We have issued several updates since then via our own API servers and we have another major update coming out tomorrow for concurrence with WordPress 5.5.
We are at loggerheads with ThemeForest as they wish us to make some changes to our theme core which dumb it down and are detrimental to the theme and our users. We are undecided on what to do as reasonableness does not seem to enter into the equation.
But we are the longest supported theme in the marketplace and have issued more then half a dozen updates for our theme owners since the last update ThemeForest allowed us to upload March last yr. Everyone who knows us knows we support all the time, 100% of the time. Our owners are now in yr 10 of continuous use of their theme. We like to think that is a pretty awesome track record although it counts for nothing with ThemeForest management regretfully.
You are welcome to email us directly at thethemebuilders.net@gmail.com and if you provide a skype id or phone number we can contact you. There are some other options we can offer to you that you may wish to consider.

Hi kaptinlin.
I Bought many years ago one of your wordpress templates (themeforest-128763-striking-multiflex).
What I am looking for is to make my WordPress responsive in order to look better on mobiles. I thought it would have become responsive if It had updated to the last version but unfortunately it did not make any change. I would like to have you help in order to make my WordPress responsive. I like the template I have (themeforest-128763-striking-multiflex) and I would like to keep its look but make it responsive. Is it possible? Is there any other template I can use and make my WordPress responsive?
I would really appreciate your help.
I am looking forward to hearing from you.
Hello:
We replied to you yesterday by email to your cesar_ceo hotmail address. Can you please review the email and if you wish further assistance reply to it?
For anyone else reading this request. This is a customer who actually purchased our original Striking Portfolio WordPress theme which we released in Sept 2010. It of course was a non-responsive theme as responsive frameworks were barely in their infancy at that time.
In Feb 2014 we transitioned our Striking theme to a new variation called Striking MultiFlex which is a responsive theme for sale here now (and has had many, many updates since 2014!). So we gave our prior theme owners a free upgrade and replaced the theme version that we loaded up in ThemeForest from the non-responsive framework to the responsive framework. It was our thank you to all our purchasers for having made the original Striking Portfolio theme a bestseller in the marketplace for almost 3 yrs. Unheard of even now – theme owners were able to upload Striking MultiFlex via the WordPress theme installer, switch themes, and almost all their content remained intact and displayed correctly – they did not have to redo their website as is normally the case when switching themes.
In this instance “CEOkin” is an original Striking Portfolio owner (they purchased in the 2010-2013 period) and has not since then upgraded to Striking MultiFlex until now. And in viewing his site (the link was provided to us in an email he also sent us) we can see that although he believes he has installed Striking MultiFlex, he in fact has not switched correctly.
So his site is of course still not mobile capable as a result since he is in fact still on the old Striking Portfolio theme.
We are explaining this so that no one is left with the impression that Striking MultiFlex is not a mobile ready responsive theme. It is 100% responsive. We have here what we euphemistically call “operator error” but no insult is intended – simply CEOkin has not managed the transition correctly.
We have sent him an email and will assist him, and any other former Striking Portfolio owners in updating correctly. It is of course a paid service since all aspects of maintaining a website fall outside of theme development. The charges are reasonable but do vary depending on the complexity of the website, customization that may be in place, hosting variables and other related factors.
We remind everyone per both the FAQ in the Support Tab here, as well as in the docs we provide with the theme download that our support is provided via our dedicated support forum. We do not provide theme support via the cumbersome comment system here at Themeforest.
Cesar if you do need further assistance please respond to the email (which hotmail did confirm to us was received into your inbox).

hi , i rebuy a new licence but it not work. where i find my new purchase code ??
and its not the good version in the download
hi , i paid but i have the same version and not the upgrade !!! and my purchase code not wrk on wp.
Hi Gerald:
I saw a post on the forum about a user having an issue locating their purchase code but it was a different username so I am uncertain if it was you or someone else.
When you download a theme at ThemeForest you have to download your license code separately. This is not our doing but how ThemeForest has set up its download system.
We have a nice image of how the License Certificate Download works on our documentation site.
But if you are still having an issue with updating to the newest theme build you can either:
- post at the support forum and the link for it is found below with my signature - send us an email at support @ thethemebuilders.com (remove the spaces)
and we will assist you.
The build available via the ThemeForest Downloads is a milestone release. We have done some maintenance updates since then which we only push to users via the theme update function. Another maintenance update is forthcoming in the next few days.
We will gladly assist you if you are having issues in updating to the latest maintenance release.

Hi,
I would like to update the striking theme to the latest version 1.3.0.1.
When I download the theme from themeforest the version is 1.2.9.8 according to the ‘Striking Multiflex Changelog’ within the downloaded files.
Please help?
Regards Shane
Hello “glassy”.
I see one of my team peers responded to your questions in the release thread at our forum in early May.
Updating is a two part step as outlined in the help dialogs with the various settings in the theme settings panels. Click on the little ”+” sign beside any setting name and it opens a help dialog.
You have to input your license code into the license field. After inputting click on “Save” – this stores the lic code into the database. Only after doing this “Save” do you then you click on the Upgrade button. You can’t just enter the code into the field and click on the update button as you will not have saved the license code to the database.
As you did not respond after “Backups” gave you information on May 10 our assumption is you were successful but if the issue remains please reply on the forum below his old reply.
