Hi, I am considering changing my website and am looking at this theme. I see you have variations but in the demos they don’t seem to work. I mean, clicking on the swatch image of the brown shoe does not change the main foto to the brown shoe. Is this an error, or just not working. Porto WordPress based on WooCommerce and WooCommerce has its default functionality for Store, by default WooCommerce does not provide the functionality for addon products on the main product, you have to use any third-party plugin for it, which better meets your requirements.

Bug report 1: After choosing product variation settings in a variable product, the images become very blurry under the magnification rectangle. It seems like that the wrong image version is loaded in low resolution. This happens at any product page. Example: https://sitz.ch/produkt/swopper/
Bug report 2: After chaning the product variation, the image under the magnification rectangle is not shown instantly (blank white), only after using the mouse wheel zooming in or out the image appears inside the magnification rectangle. https://sitz.ch/produkt/swopper/
Both bugs are only happening on the first product image in the galery, all other images do not have this problem.

The Images settings of the products are coming from WooCommerce, Please read the below-given articles:

This is the default functionality of the WooCommerce new version as it does not provide the option to set height for the product image. it automatically resizes the image based on its width you set.
And some of the product layouts are default Theme layouts with the huge size of images, those will only be altered via Customization, You can change the default layout setting using WooCommerce setting.

I already explained all above, The Image size is handeled by Woo and our Theme does not have any influence on it, please try to read the above articles and Woo articles in it clearly and completly, Otherwise, please contact us with your support system with your site WP Admin Login details so that we will check it for you on your site. Thank you for all of your help. We have decide to purchase your template to build a site for a client. We did some preliminary browser “testing” to make sure that everything is ok and came across one issue on your “classic video” demo – which we want to use as the base that I hope you can address. On Android phone using chrome you cant scroll past the video unless you put your finger directly on the mouse icon. On iphone you are able to drag anywhere on the video to scroll down. I see this as a usability issue for Android users. Here is a video showing this… is there a fix / workaround for this?

I am not able to watch your video it is showing 502 Bad Gateway error, It is not the Theme issue but this is how the Revolution Slider with video works, RS cover all the screen of the Mobile device and that is the reason you can not scroll using your fingers, It’s better to use Fixed Image instead of full-screen RS video on the mobile version of the site.

Hi!, I’ve bought this theme some time ago because it was in offer and never used it (maybe some tests and then I uninstalled it). Now I need use it on a personal project and I’m having troubles with le license. A few days ago I’ve installed it on my subdomain shop.octopo.cl but I decided to use another domain (now is octoshop.cl) but when I try to activate it with the purchase code it says that is activated on octopo.cl. I’ve already deleted all files and database from my old domain but the trouble persist. Please help, I have read many issues like this on the comments so I decided request for help. Thanks.

Any updates on how to add product videos to the product gallery? More specific: Can you finally provide a link to a 3rd party plugin that you have tested AND works with your theme? I had tested nearly any available plugin (free and paid plugins) about a year ago and NONE of them worked with Porto because your theme did not consider to make efforts on compatibility when engineering the product page. Looking forward to your answer if something has changed on that. Thanks.

Sorry to say that but we have not tested any of the third party plugin with our Theme for this reason, and there is no such Option in the Theme for it, so for now, This requires Customization and I am forwarding this to our development department for considering to add it in the theme, but I am not giving you the guarantee for that because please note that a theme cannot satisfy all requirements as it may occur theme heaviness. Sometimes it may require your own customization. So if the development department finds it fit with the theme environment then surely they will look through it.

1. You can try with any third party plugin which better meets your requirements, there is no such Option in the Theme for it, This is coming from WordPress and WooCommerce.
2. It’s important to note that it is the responsibility of every company or website owner to prepare their sites for GDPR compliance. It is not the duty of any framework used to create and manage a website’s compliance, solely. In almost all cases a lot of manual fine tuning will be needed. Generally speaking, that means there is no use in asking “Is WordPress GDPR compliant?” or “Is Porto GDPR compliant?”. For example, Porto itself will never be violating the GDPR criteria as it does not collect any data. It is a powerful tool to create websites, and the end users website is what will collect data and the data collected will be different for every use case.
Does that mean that WordPress and Porto users are left alone in their fight for compliance? No, not at all!
And if you want to make your site more compaitable with GDPR then use any third party plugin which will help you in achieving your needs.

Hi, after some trail and error testing it seems that the search function is conflicting with the Woocommerce Tab manager plugin (V1.12.2) The search page gave a 504 time out. After deactivating the Tab manager plugin all is well. I deactivated all non related plugins to the theme and the activated them 1 by one via FTP. Please advise.

Yes, you can, You have to change the layout of the Product as “Show Quantity Input” for Shop/Category Pages from Theme Options and it will work for you and you can add the product to Cart directly from Shop/Category pages but please remember that it is only for single products not for variable products.
2. No, sorry to say that but this is not possible, This requires Customization.
3. No, sorry to say that but this is not possible, you can only show the variations on Shop/Category pages but for adding it to the Cart you must have to go to single product page.
4. Yes, Quick View also works on Mobile devices as well and it is by default no need to activate it and also you can not make the default quick view page for an individual product, This requires Customization.
5. You can show the Categories in Sidebar on Shop page easily by using Product Category widget and it has an option to show Child Categories as Dropdown under Parent Category OR without Dropdown as well, you can check it on my test site here:
