If we are not careful we won’t even have looked at what he was saying, instead it seems to me that he was fixed in less than two hours, having said that I don’t understand your controversy.

You darn near disregarded the original issue while blaming a plugin (twice) only to come up with the end resolution of … “Actually we missed the fifth attribute added by WordPress to the core with WP 5.4.”

Ok but you are missing that this was caused by changes in the plugin, not something broken in the theme, and this could be easily fixed by adding a parameter, but I repeat the problem came out of their update.

Hmmm. It seemed like there was an issue with the Uncode custom walker and the 5.4 update / addition of a fifth parameter.

This did not create any problem with Uncode features, the problem was related to an update of this extra plugin, and also authors of the plugins alerted their users to contact the theme authors.

Ahhhh. I guess this comment seemed to confuse me …

Hi jaytfl! We are sorry for this issue but this is caused by their changes, their communication is pretty clear, the changes they have done can create evident problems with themes. Besides, this is not even one of the plugins we officially support. Changes will only be implemented if they do not create problems with other features or compatibility with plugins that we officially support. The wp_nav_menu_item_custom_fields hook that expects 5 arguments are only given 4 arguments by Mega Menu and this causes the fatal error.

WP native hook contains 5 arguments here: do_action( ‘wp_nav_menu_item_custom_fields’, $item_id, $item, $depth, $args, $id );

File name: wp-admin/includes/class-walker-nav-menu-edit.php

But MegaMenu library uses the same hook ‘wp_nav_menu_item_custom_fields’ but passes 4 arguments only.

I had just upgraded the theme version to 2.2.8.2, and I found that this fix wasn’t implemented in the latest released version.

Request you to get it incorporated at earliest in order to avoid constant check.

Hi BirnenHans! We are sorry but this is not something you can change in one single place, the mobile, tablet and desktop breakpoints are part of many files. I’m sorry but I can’t think of any easy way to completely eliminate a breakpoint like the tablet view.

For now: Would it be possible then to write a function in function.php that hooks in at <meta name=”viewport” and just sets a fixed content=”width=1024”>” (e.g.) for specific screen sizes? With this I could just set the desktop width for the tablet resolutions and the website should display the desktop version on tablets, right? Unfortunately I’m not very good at php, do you think this could work and what the function would have to be? Thanks for the help!
