Hello, I mistakenly renewed the support for this theme but it is an error. Can I get a refund please? How do I go about it?
We have purchased Porto 2 years ago and support expired. We want to ask, if we renew support, can you help us with the speed optimization ? When running Google Page Speed test, on mobile, we get over 10 seconds.
We have used a Porto demo, which we customized, added some more plugins etc. We installed all the optimization plugins you mention in the Porto theme documentation on your website. Despite all our efforts, we get a score of 20-25 from Google Page Speed for mobile. And Google suggests to Minimize main thread work and to reduce javascript.
We thought maybe the fault lies with other plugins that we use. So we tried to download your Demo Shop 18, made absolutely no changes to the files as they came from you and added no extra plugins then the one the demo asked for, uploaded the files to the server, tested with Google Page Speed test and got a very low grade on mobile (score 32). If even with the exact demo from your website the score is low, then maybe you did some optimization which are not mentioned in the Porto documentation (which we read completely).
If we renew support, can you help us figure out if the problem comes from the theme or not ? Or maybe this is the maximum score we can get with Porto and we should be happy with it ?
Please let us know if we should renew support and discuss this issue further.

Sorry to say that but the Speed of the site is not covered in the Theme Support Policy because it requires extra Customization.
We are sorry that you faced some problems working with our theme. But our theme is one of the most optimized on the market. In general, our theme is already optimized and doesn’t have too many resources to make your website slow. Most likely, your website performance suffers from the content you have added to your website. It may happen in case of too many plugins, large not optimized images, or other resources. So we suggest you remove unnecessary plugins, install some kind of JS & CSS optimizing plugins like Better WordPress Minify and a caching plugin like WP Super Cache or use WP Rocket for both tasks. Also, you can use the GTmetrix tool to see what makes your website slow and optimize these parts of your website.
First of all, we would like to tell you that Google very often scores with 20-40 points mobile performance for 99% of websites built with WordPress. To get more points you need to have a really light page. For example remove all sliders, carousels and leave a few banners and products only. Then you will get a high result. But usually, our theme works very fast on mobile devices and don’t have any problems with performance. We suggest you test it on a few mobile devices and you will see that there are no real performance problems. Google PageSpeed gives you recommendations on how to improve the performance of your web site, but it does not actually measure the speed (aka loading time) of your website. If your site loads fast, you can safely ignore PageSpeed’s recommendations.
The traffic depends on a lot of different factors and not our theme only. The only argument from you was your website’s low score on Google Pagespeed. But it can’t be because of that if your real website speed is quite fast. We suggest you read an article from the WP Rocket team – one of the most experienced companies in terms of WordPress optimization.

|V. Check the browser dev console on errors (F12, on most if not all browsers)
V. Double-check your own Custom CSS, or Custom Snippets in function.php is causing it

By looking at console, it reports this error: Uncaught ReferenceError: wpColorPickerL10n is not defined color-picker.min.js:2
It seems that it’s something related to 5.5 version of WP and I applied a workaround on functions.php file on my child theme.

I am sorry for the misunderstanding of your issue, you want to set the icon beside the Categories in Product Categories Widget on Shop/Category Archive pages right?
If yes, then I am sorry there is no such option in the Widget to set the Icon beside every single Category, This requires Customization.

You can try with Custom CSS and set the Icon as per your requirements, and you have to paste the Custom CSS code under Porto >> Theme Options >> Skin >> Custom CSS and it will work for you, please watch the below-given video I have created for you.

We purchased Porto. When you select variations, the first variation does not highlight. Users will think that it is not selected. Then when you select other variations there is a wheel that just spins for some of the products but not all of them.
