Hello,

I have a problem with my navbar. However, if I switch from a large window size to a mobile one and just open and close my mobile menu and pull the window larger again, my white navbar background is completely gone. The navbar background is not visible/available anymore and my other website content moves up and replace the background. I have not changed anything in the Code or in the CSS. I use the “horizontal split” navbar from the Uncode Theme Options. All others navbars works without this problem. I don’t know if this is an existing bug?

Hi! Can we add custom shortcode or custom html code ? Do you know if I can integrate WP Matterport Shortcode ? The custom shop page are available even if we use for exemple https://undsgn.com/uncode/homepages/creative-digital-agency/ ? Do you have an option to define this costum shop page ?

Hi ValentinoNono974 and thank for interest! There is a custom HTML module, you can also add custom shortcode but it’s not a built in solution. No sorry we don’t know about this Matterport. Yes the custom shop page is always available.

Hi! I use this theme on my WP self-hosted site. I bought it from a designer who never registered it to me. The theme is now dysfunctional after the WP update – I can’t use building blocks, indeed creating a new page or editing an old one is virtually impossible! I can’t get the designer to register or update. Can you help please? In the worst case scenario, I am prepared to buy the theme again and register it in my name, then clone the old site into the current version of the theme. Would that work? Thanks!

I’m sorry for the issue, but yes, if you need to update the only way is to purchase a regular copy. What version of Uncode are you running at the moment? If it isn’t too old, you should be able to update automatically, from the WordPress backend, otherwise maybe you need to upload the theme via FTP. You don’t have to clone anything, but I strongly recommend to do a backup so you won’t risk to lose everything if, maybe, the previous designer hacked in some strange way the code of the theme, or something like that.

if I’m right, your header is built using a Content Block, so you have to edit the Content Block and you can do it either with the Frontend editor or the Backend one. However I see you’re running WordPress 5.5 so you should update Uncode to v.2.2.8.4 too, which fixes some Javascript errors that prevent the editor from working correctly. Great theme, been using it for a while and happy with it.

Just want to point out an issue I’m currently having to see if anyone else is going through the same. I just updated Wordpress and Uncode theme, and I’m having an issue with the child theme and Uncode WPBakery Page Builder, it doesn’t load when I try to edit page, but If I switch to the Main/Parent theme it works.

Tried reinstalling already.

Hi. I noted in your theme options area you say to put font in px. Theme options won’t accept em? Isn’t em the preferred way to size fonts to be optimally responsive? If we use px, does the font resize for mobile?

Hi jisola! Not really, definitely use em is not a universal solution for responsive. If you want to use em just override the Theme Options with a bit of CSS.

In the vertical navigation menu, there is always an > for pages that do not have any sub-items. If you hide these, you also hide the > that points downward for the items WITH sub-items. Can the pages without children not have their >s hidden?

I REALLY REALLY REALLY want a sub-menu to appear on mouse-over using the vertical menu. Not through a click. This way people can see the entire site’s offerings very quickly. Is there a way to do this? I have been choosing all the options on Theme Options and nothing seems to work.

It would be great if after purchasing this terribly difficult theme I could finally get the help I need to change a simple font size. I still didn’t get an answer about it, except “for me it works perfectly”. I’ve been trying for hours, but it won’t work. How difficult can it be to change a font size?

Anyway, please specify what kind of font size you need to change, can you please share your site preview and specify what is the element font size you need to change? Otherwise, it’s impossible to understand what you need.

Hi, I’m using a content block and post grid with categories active and dynamic query ticked for a custom post type archive page. If a tag is clicked within a blog single post it takes you to the correct url with the tag eg. mydomain.com/blog_tags/tag1/ and shows the correct title (tag1) but doesn’t show the correct content. The content within the post grid is the same as the blog archive page – i.e. the unfiltered post grid. Is there a setting I’m missing here? If I change the content block to inherited and choose the standard archive page everything filters as it should, but I don’t have any way of putting categories above the grid as a menu from what I see. Am I misunderstanding how this should work?

Our page you refer to ( https://undsgn.com/uncode/blog/blog-full-width-grid/ ) isn’t the main blog, it is a simple page with a Page Builder module that displays the blog posts and a filter menu above them (the one you call secondary menu). If you use a Content Block for your Posts Archives ( https://undsgn.d.pr/L8rk9G ) that contains a Page Builder module with the filter menu active ( https://undsgn.d.pr/cIAZ5K ) you should get what you’re trying to achive. Thanks for the information. I did however try all these things. Sadly it falls over for me in two different ways. One if i use a page like you have the menu disappears on the category page like explained above. The second method of applying a content block to the content of the archive page, I get the menu showing up in both the main blog page and the category pages as intended, however when i go to the category page (in this instance https://undsgn.com/uncode/category/travel/) the menu is indeed there, however the content in the post is unfiltered. It can’t seem understand that it should filter by the category and shows all the stories as though I have just visited the main blog page. I have ensured dynamic query is selected. Currently running version 2.2.8.4 Kind regards

Sorry for my wrong reply here above. About your issue: I checked on my end and everything works fine. This is a Tag page with the Filters active in the Content Block: this is a Tag page https://undsgn.d.pr/cClMkE and this is a Category page https://undsgn.d.pr/ddUhcq

If you use a static page for the Blog, the Category page will have a different layout, and if you don’t use a Content Block you can’t display filters in your Category page.

However, please, also consider that you must have at least two categories to which your displayed posts belong, otherwise the filters are hidden.

Without seeing your site is impossible for me check if all these things are satisfied, so please submit a ticket here https://support.undsgn.com/hc or at least provide your site URL.

Hi, I am having issues with using WEBP images and your themes settings. Its not pulling through featured images into the blog layouts and also its not changing the aspect ratios on the image block.

Any idea of a work around for this? As its a modern web image format thats great for page speed and themes are notoriously heavy by their nature. So would be great to know how these can be used.

PS: Also note that at the moment this is not a standard in WordPress, you need extra plugins, and it’s even not supported by the default Media Library.

Back-end bug since last update / Like other users I have the same trouble since the last update 2.2.8.4 I can’t see only code if I switch to the backend editor. I have desactivate my cache plugin (Autoptimize) nothing happend still same problem. But I have found a way, the only way to found again the normal back-end editor is to change in the themes and switch from the child theme to the parent theme and it’s work, so I think the trouble come from a change we have to do on the child theme.

If then the problem happens with your Child Theme, probably it’s related to some modifications you have here related to the use of the jQuery Migrate script that was removed by the WordPress Core.

Correct ! I have clean up all caches and it work now I can put my child theme back and the back-end works like before ;-)

More and more websites are having trouble viewing images where Adaptive Images is turned on. I originally thought that the problem was only after updating to WP 5.5, but even older sites, where everything used to work, now display blurred photos in low resolution. I also recently wrote about Async, which doesn’t work in Safari and does in Chrome. All problem sites are under one hosting. Could there be a problem with the server settings?

Hi tarik3d! The new registration system doesn’t use the API. ThemeForest discontinued the API method some years ago… The old registration system uses the old Envato API (that is now deprecated and has a very slow cache system) for the Purchase Code verification. You should update to the new version of Uncode that uses the new Envato API and a faster registration system with only the Purchase Code. I love this product and own several licenses for this product, but now I’m not able to make updates anymore after the recent update, even after flushing my cache. The front editor is not allowing me to update links and content. The backend editor is not even showing up. This is delaying a couple launches for me so I would like to know what is a quick and easy solution for this.

Hi! After the lates update all the blog posts and pages have lost the wireframe features. Do I need to activate them to be used for both and if so, how? I havent done any changes but now the pages and the posts are like “standar” mode, meaning none of them doesnt support your wireframe blocks. Thanks for help!

I am not wishing to pay even more money because a simple upgrade isn’t happening. I love this theme but I am not sure what the issue is now. I can’t update anything. I can’t add pictures to sections. I can’t update plugins. And now it states that my Envato Purchase Code seems to be invalid. How is this even possible when I own a few licenses?? First please note that support expiration, it’s one of the rules of the ThemeForest marketplace, low prices but support is limited to 6 or 12 months, after all no product has a lifetime warranty and you can’t expect that. I encountered a problem with the “Letters typewriter and Letters curtain” (in Heading Animation) feature. There is a big delay to starting its work! I had to install the theme on a subdomain! And the problem remains! *The problem is not there with the other options

If you have a delay before the animation, as for documentation, the problem is that you have not assigned a valid font “before starting the animation the script checks if the declared fonts are available, if you don’t see your headings it’s due to a problem in loading the fonts.
