Hi, the version of WP Bakery that comes with the Porto Theme is currently out of date and is susceptible to cross site scripting. When will the next Theme Update happen and will this include a more recent version of WP Bakery? Thanks

We already noticed this on September 11, 2020 (The WPBakery team releases an additional patch) and we already updated the plugin as well, you can simply download the very latest version of the plugin from the support system and update it on your site:

I’ve had a standalone WPBakery Page Builder license for some time and I have not used it.
Is the WPBakery Page Builder plugin used in Porto a customized one for Porto theme? I ask because some times it takes theme developers some days or weeks to offer the latest version of included bundled plugins.
If it’s the same one I can download from WPBakery Page Builder, can I update it from them?

Hello. Quick question. When editing a product, it just shows the VC shortcodes in the description. It looks very cluttered and hard to understand. Is there no visual editor for a product? Like how I edit any other page?

When you select any pre-built header type on your site, it will take the layout and structure of the particular header only, for changing the color you have to change the color separately from Porto >> Theme Options >> Skin >> Header as per your requirements.

First of all, That is not the pre-built header type, but we have created that Header using Header Builder, and the ALL Department is set using Main Toggle Menu header builder element as showing in this screenshot:
It means it is the Main Menu of the site which you set from Appearance >> Menu.
Now, let me explain to you how we have made that Sub Menu’s, so we have used Blocks for it.
You can see in the Sub Menu Item we have used a Block to show the entire content and we have added the Custom Width as well to that Sub Menu and also we have used the Custom Class for Custom CSS as well.
Now if you go to Blocks, you will find the same Block as showing below and you can edit and change anything as per your requirements.
This is how it works and we have set this in our Demo.

Actually that is the button and we have linked that with Contact Us page, so when you click that button it will take you to the Contact Us page and when you edit the Contact Us page you will find the Contact Form has been set to that page and that Contact Form is coming from Contact Form 7 plugin, so you have to Customize/Change the Contact Form from Contact Form 7 as per your requirements.

I can’t create an account on your support site. It was also down earlier today with a Database Connection issue. Please let me know when it’s all working again. I have an issue with the Header Builder where I click on a Settings cog on a row in the header builder and it simply does nothing. Previously it would show all settings available on the left hand side.

This is because of the Elementor Pro plugin, Elementor Pro plugin Footer and Header is conflicting with Theme Header/Footer, so please turn it OFF or contact the Elementor Pro plugin Support as this is the Pro plugin issue, they will provide you the fix for it.

Ask your client to download the latest version of the Theme from his Envato Account >> Downloads, and share the latest Theme files with you and yes its better to start from Scratch:
1. log in to your Envato account (Themeforest account)
2. Navigate to the Themeforest Downloads section
3.Find the theme purchase and click on the Download button next to the theme name.
4.In the opened drop-down choose between:
I: All Files & Documentation: contains the installable WordPress file, documentation and other assets.
II: Installable WordPress File Only: contains only the theme zip file that you use to install our theme. If you install it via FTP then unzip it first, then use the extracted folder.
