1. Please “Disable” the “Gutenberg Editor” from WP-Dashboard >> WP Bakery >> General Setting and check back your site with the front-end editor of the WP Bakery after removing the browser cache.

My theme keeps breaking when I upload the demo content. I thought it might have been due to being on DigitalOcean, so I switched to NameCheap, and I’m having the same problem.

The server requirements are met but it still fails to upload, so I have to click the alternative method, and it breaks.

Can you please make sure by going into WP-Dashboard >> Setting >> General and make sure that site URL is set there as HTTPS if you are using the SLL certificate on your site, and if not then please change your site URL as HTTPS from HTTP there and save changes and then check your site after removing the browser cache.

I am sorry but this is not dynamic, This is only for the dummy purpose and we have added it using Custom JS, You can change/remove it from Porto >> Theme Options >> Skin >> Custom JavaScript as per your requirements.

thanks, can you please just tell me where can i find the “category-list” so i can change it to brand. and for#2 i already have more than 7500 items and using the official brands extension of woocommerce it’s not possible to change this one by one ! and my issue is that the filter not working even i put it in the widget. thanks.

This is because you do not have the WP Bakery Plugin activated on your site, please activate the plugin again on your site and it will solve your issue.

And if you are not able to activate the plugin then delete it from your site, and download the very latest version of the plugin from the below-given article and Install and Activate it on your site manually and it will solve your issue.

hi guys, i prchased the theme and i generated a child theme. I downloaded the .po and .mo files from the parent theme languages directory, for instance it_IT.po and it_IT.mo files. I modified these files as per needs and than i uploaded them into a new directory in child theme, for instance /porto-child/languages. By the way i cannot see modified translations on my website. i also deleted server and browser cache. any suggestion? kind regards

No need to add/place the files in the Child Theme.

First of all, Please go to WP-Dashboard >> Plugins and Install and Activate the Loco Translate plugin on your site:

And then go to Loco >> Themes >> Porto you will find the 4 default language files there which comes with the Theme package and those are:

English (Britain) en_GB
French (France) er_FR
Italian (Italy) it_IT
Turkish (Turkey) tr_TR

Now go to WP-Dashboard >> Plugins and Install and Activate the WP FileManager plugin on your site:

And then go to File Manager Plugin Setting >> wp-content/languages/ and create the loco Folder >> then go to the loco folder and create another folder as themes and then copy the it_IT.po and it_IT.mo files from wp-content/themes/porto/languages and rename the files as:

porto-it_IT.po porto-it_IT.mo

And upload to that themes folder. Like:

Now, again go back to WP-Dashboard >> Loco >> Themes >> Porto and you will find another Theme language file as Italian, now you have to edit it and then click on “Sync” https://postimg.cc/bZ3Y6hNX and after completing the Synchronization you have to click on “Save” button as shown in this screenshot: https://postimg.cc/3kJY0cjt

Now finally check your site after removing the browser cache and you can change any word translation in that file as per your requirements.

And it will not be overridden or removed whenever you will update the Theme.

Before this I used this theme for another domain, then I decide to discontinue that domain and move to a new one. How to use the change the purchase code to a new domain? Because we no longer use the previous one.
