Thanks for writing in! Bridge theme support RTL languages, and rtl stylesheet is present, so by simply switching language from WordPress back end to RTL language, your site content will appear from right to left.

Hi, I registered this theme while I was creating my website offline on MAMP a year ago. I had to delete the database and start from scratch on MAMP and now I keep getting the following error message when I try to register the product license: “Code is already registered for other domain”

I am unable to deregister from the domain, as the database has been deleted.

Portfolio list element don’t have a clickable category.

The categories can be accessed from the dashboard when you navigate to Portfolio -> Portfolio Categories ( please see screenshot ). However, unfortunately, they cannot be accessed from portfolio list or portfolio single page, and this is the default behavior of portfolio categories. You can see this on our demo pages too in this link.

When are you guys going to address the ridiculously bloated amount of code, javascript, css files and other issues that make this theme a total disaster for Google Core Web vitals? I updated to the latest version which uses Qode Bridge Core plugin and now the theme is even less efficient and impossible to optimize! You have a pretty looking mess of crappy code that anyone who cares about an optimized site and SEO should now avoid like the plague. Wake up and start optimizing this theme.

When it comes to the speed we can suggest you put a focus on your server and your content optimization as well as TTFB, First Paint and Contentful Paint from the google pages speed that matters, also the Waterfall sections is of great importance where you can see what might be improved and our support team will be happy to help and provide you with more detailed guidance. Also you can check our article here as well read about the recent changes in GTMetrix. Bridge theme does have certain options such as disabling icon packages and the loading of specific JS files to improve the performance if needed.

Hi, I see that you have moved to a different support system, but I was unaware that old tickets would be deleted. I want to hide a header on a specific page using CSS and knew I’d asked this question whilst I was still getting support. So I went to log in expecting to find the answer, but you have deleted all my old queries. Think this is a naught way to get someone to renew support when they have already received answers and don’t need it.

Hello, is it possible to upgrade a old Bridge website (v 12.1.1) to the most recent Bridge version. Do I have to start from scratch or there is a way to migrate the old theme to the most recent version ?

Also do you offer paid migration service if it’s more complexed ?

If you are using a very old theme you can follow the guidance on how to update the theme and its plugins here.

Also have in mind that Envato Toolkit is an outdated plugin. So, now you should use Envato Market and procedure is pretty much the same.

Please, just go to /wp-content/themes/bridge/framework/modules and remove whole folder envatowordpresstoolkit This is deprecated Envato Toolkit plugin that is replaced with Envato Market plugin.

If you are using child theme be aware of the following and the changes that needs to be done, you can read more about it here.

Because in Bridge 18.0 we had to change function names as per Themeforest request in order to meet their new coding standards, and child theme modifications must reflect these changes since 18.0 Bridge release. If you have modified functions via child theme, you’ll have to rename functions in the child theme in order your child theme to work after the update.

Thanks for writing in! We could not reproduce the issue in our testing environment. Try disabling the Gutenberg editor under WPBakery > General Settings. Also, set the WPBakery Backend editor to be Enabled and default under the Role Manager tab of the WPBakery settings
