please make sure you have updated Uncode and the plugins coming with it as well https://support.undsgn.com/hc/en-us/articles/214001205-Theme-Update and, after that, empty your browser cache in order to load the right files. What version of Uncode are you running? And what verision of Uncode Core and Uncode WP Bakery plugins?

Hi, We have several websites using uncode. The first one is using an old version of uncode, bought in 2016. The current version of this time is “1.3.3”
We have a problem with sliders. Background images on slides are not displayed. The same happens with the logo image.
Looks like everything is updated, Wordpress, the theme, and all the plugins used on the website.
Could you please check what is wrong? Maybe is a bug in this version?

We are using the vertical text element to insert an email address – looks great on most rows, however, on rows with a gradient as a background colour it uses a weird shade of blue for the text colour… any way of changing that? It looks great when on dark/light rows but it uses the blue for some reason on gradient rows:

Hello—out of the blue, the “Heading text” field has disappeared from the heading elements. I can’t edit older ones and I can’t enter text in newly placed Heading elements. Would you be so kind as to point out what the issue might be?
Hi altercat! Unfortunately, we don’t have any other users reporting the same problem so it’s not easy to help without the possibility to debug your installation. Try first to disable all extra plugins. If this doesn’t help send us a screenshot of the Chrome Developers Tools > Console so we can read possible errors, the theme version you have.

I updated the theme and wordpress to the latest update, everything was going smoothly, but ti just discovered he shop page is not showing the products and show the error in the image.
For the shop page, i use a content block to have a custom design of the page.

Please deactivate all extra plugins, and deactivate the Child Theme, if you have extra services like Cloudflare you need also to flush the cache from this services.

Hi cha_vitD! This problem can be related to server permissions when the Wireframes plugin tries to import the few placeholder images used for the wireframes. It happened to some users that none of the icons were visible (and in this case it’s related to the server that has to enable the JSON format), but never that only some were visible. It seems that something is partially overwriting the file. Do you have any extra plugins?

Hello, inside the portfolio post type I try to add a background image for a column but unfortunately the image is not visible on the front end.

it is hard to understand what’s wrong from here, without entering your site: we see the same thing you see from incognito mode, of course, since we aren’t logged. However, if I have to point the finger at something, it’s the fact you’re running Uncode 1.9.3 (not updated since 2018) on WordPress 5.8.1. Maybe the problem isn’t there, but I would start with keep everything updated at the right version, because Uncode has added compatibility to WP 5.8 since 2.4.0, in July 2021: https://support.undsgn.com/hc/en-us/articles/213454129-Change-Log

Also – let’s take for example the classic saas page – there is a ‘play video’ button which opens a video; but when I’m editing the link on that button – your default video plays. Where it can be changed?

Just to understand correctly – in the media lightbox I will insert the video (uploaded in the wordpress). But I am looking to insert a Youtube video Link (as my video has >250MB).
Once I remove the placeholder video from the lightbox and insert a link on the button, once pressed – the button redirects to youtube; I am looking to open the video in the site.
There are two scenarios I am looking to reproduce:
1. Have a Youtube video play in the background on the header of the page (Example: classic restaurant page)
2. Have a youtube play in a window when the icon is pressed (Example: https://prnt.sc/1u855md)
Can you please help me clarify these 2 aspects?

Is there a way for me to make a portfolio posts featured image a video? My client has asked me to embed videos in the homepage and we’d like to do this using the portfolio post type ideally (so we have a chronological archive of videos in date order as the customer uploads them).

In the Portfolio Pages you need to insert the video in the Page Media ( https://support.undsgn.com/hc/en-us/articles/214002805 ), and in the Posts Module in the tab Module > Elements > Media, you need to be sure to see Original and not Poster (https://support.undsgn.com/hc/en-us/articles/213456829#&gid=1&pid=6). This should do the trick.
