After applying the latest update ContactForm 7 seems broken. Doesn’t want to send forms. Might also have something to do with WordPress 5.9.

Active plugins: Yoast, Wordfence and Akismet. Disabling them doesn’t do the trick.

I tried sending a mail using Contact Form 7 on my testing installation however it worked so I think it may not be related to WordPress 5.9. To make sure, you can use this plugin – https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-downgrade/ and downgrade to previous version of WordPress to test it.

Just a heads-up: there’s a .DS_Store file in framework/images/icons/new. Please remember that many clients treat dot-files as hidden, and FTP may not even show them. This often results in “cannot delete: directory not empty” when the client program shows an empty directory, necessitating going into SSH. Please make sure you don’t leave dot-files littering the folders if they’re not strictly necessary. Thanks.

It’s there, trust me.
Keep in mind that under macOS – chances are the contents of the .DS_Store will get rolled into the filesystem’s extra-attributes, so the file itself will probably cease to exist (thereby hiding the problem) once the OS detects and reads it… though it’s not a sure thing.
A good solution to this would be to simply ignore/skip all .DS_Store files when preparing the ZIP download package, but I don’t know if it’s not ThemeForest doing the packaging…

Hi there, I am trying to set up a shop on my website. I have two questions. When you go onto the shop on the site, link is: https://9va.18f.myftpupload.com/shop/ It seems two display the pictures at the top with big grey borders, Where underneath it displays them again properly. How to I get rid of the boxes with the big grey borders? then spread the ones below across the whole page if that makes sense.
Second question is when I try to set up the payments for woocomerce, it doesn’t give me the option of paypal or debit/credit cards. How to I enable them?

Hi there, was there a change in the display of product galley in WooCommerce with last Enfolds theme update? all the products with gallery images attached don’t show the main product image (single product page)..while other products without additional gallery images are show correctly… once I switch in the theme panel from option “WooCommerce 3.0” gallery to ‘Enfold product gallery’ everything’s shows correctly again… I just need to understand if this a bug while using the other option or if this is something you are phasing out… thanks

Only WooCommerce related change in the last update was a fix related to cart function. I checked WooCommerce 3.0 product gallery option on my local installation however it works fine on my end. Since we have not received reports from other users, I believe this might be related to something specific to your installation.

The version you are using is very old and is not compatible with current version of WordPress and your PHP version. Enfold 4.8.8.1 is compatible with PHP 8.0. Updating the theme to the latest version would fix the issue

Hi I am using the advanced layer slider I have done an animation, and in preview it works. When I go to the homepage the slider doesnt animate and the elements are allready there if that makes sense. Is there a reason why? the site domain at the moment is: https://9va.18f.myftpupload.com/ You can see the bus doesnt animate in, but then does when the slide comes round again. Thanks

Icon box height would depend on its content. If you would like to set a minimum height for your icon boxes, please edit them and go to Advanced > Developer Settings and give them a custom ID (“custom-id” in example below) and then add following code to bottom of Quick CSS field in Enfold theme options > General Styling tab#custom-id .iconbox_content { min-height: 200px; }Regards, Yigit

You wrote that the price of 59 USD is for a single domain. Is it a lifelong licence or I have to buy the licence every year for each domain? I have already asked the same, however I could not understand completely what you mean with lifetime updates.

Issues with Multilanguage
Hi, if working with Multilanguage-Plugins Enfold should show “Enfold Options” for every language.
There are flags in the left admin sidebar, you choose the flag, you set the homepage for every language separate….and so on.
This way you can have different settings for every language. Thats how it should be.
I use Polylang and there are issues.
- I can change the language via the switcher in the admin bar
- But when i change the settings (e.g assigning the english homepage) it does change the settings – but generell for all other languages too – including the default language
Please advice me how to fix that bug/error. Thanks Paule

Enfold is fully compatible with WPML and when using WPML, you have separate theme options for each language by default. Unfortunately, other multilingual plugins do not support this feature.
