There has never been any such mention for using the theme on multiple. Licensing terms are set by Envato/ThemeForest. Ever since the theme has been sold on ThemeForest, the same licensing terms have been in effect. Using the theme on multiple sites would violate the licensing terms

We changed hosting provider for our site. Now, when I try to update Avada theme, it says “Your purchased code is being used on another domain”. Why the theme is making this? How I can fix the product?

That is because your domain is already registered in our system and it does not know that you have removed and reinstalled the site or changed the hosting, in order to fix this you simply need to go to your support account and unregister the domain from there, once that is done you can register again then.
With our new system on each registration your domain is actually binded with the Purchase code, however if for some reason you want to unbind the domain or in scenarios where you need to test by installing Avada multiple times on the domain, or you want to check different demos after resetting the theme, this may cause such notification to come up, the solution to this is by simply going to our company site here => https://theme-fusion.com/ and then moving to Support > My Account Submenu > Register Purchase code and removing the domain from there => https://share.getcloudapp.com/JruxewJO also click on “Unregister” button on your theme dashboard if the purchase code is still being used, more about this can be read here =>https://bit.ly/3Axdf2b

Can we apply same “Purchase Code” provided with “Avada” to multiple websites. If not then what is the process of getting new “Purchase Code”, do we need to purchase “Avada” again for the new code.
- Current trying to use code on a different domain and it gives error of code already used.

Regarding your product licensing, you have to purchase/own a license for each publicly accessible domain install of the theme. Regardless of whether the installation domain is a sub domain or not, if it is publicly accessible, it requires a license.
If you are migrating to a different domain and you already have your product registered with your original purchase code etc, you do not need to purchase a new license; You can simply add your registered purchase information to the new installation’s product registration tab.

Hello! I need to buy the theme for a client that has an old website and lost contact with the original developer. The version of Avada he has is 6.2.2, which has a vulnerability. The 6.xx version isn’t that old so you can update to our recent version 7.6.1 without issues. If you’re worried about the update process, you can setup a test/staging installation and clone the current site there and perform the update there to verify everything is working great before trying the update on the live site.

How many websites can I use one license on? I’ve read elsewhere that it can be used on unlimited but when I attempt to it only allows me to use one. Any information on this would be greatly appreciated.

There never has been an unlimited licensing option for any theme purchased via Themeforest. According to Envato’s licensing terms and conditions, you need a license per top-level domain, regardless of whether you use a WordPress multisite install or not -> https://themeforest.net/licenses/terms/regular

Is there an easy way to convert woocommerce products to portfolio elements? Also can portfolio elements have multiple filters for sorting / displaying? Meaning Choose A TAG AND and CATEGORY or SKILL, so if portfolio item has TAG – BLUE and Skill – ABC – then display Portfolio item that has both.

Currently our Portfolio element doesn’t offer such hybrid filtering option. It has to be category or tag.
For conversion, this is a rather rarely used feature. You’d need to use a 3rd party plugin for post conversion like that.

Hi. After updating the WooCommerce with the icon in the Avada Plugings and Addons section. The web get blank and cant acces to WP anymore. Any idea about what happened?

Updating the theme or plugin shouldn’t cause such issues for you at all, with this being the case it could be due to the plugin or theme files were not properly transferred so what you need to do in this case is login via FTP, rename the plugin(s) folder and then simply install the plugin again after removing it.
