Hi, the latest update seems to have broken certain parts of the site.
I have cleared cache, from both the site and server side to no avail. The areas that are not displaying correctly that I can see so far are;
1) Column design on home page now looks broken (https://www.cctvaware.com) 2) Porto Advanced Carousel (https://www.cctvaware.com/about-us)
Any suggestions please?
Hello, @MrADeveci,
Can you please share the screenshots of the issues as well for my better understanding, so that I’ll check and help you out accordingly?
Regards, P-THEMES.
Hello, @MrADeveci,
I am sorry but it is not working for me, please share with this paltform: https://postimages.org/

Hello, @MrADeveci,
I have checked your site now and finds the issue on your site, so please follow the below listed debugging processes one by one:
I. Make sure you have everything up to date (Theme, Plugins, Translations files)
II. Remember to reset ALL cache etc after a plugin or theme update.
III. Disable all plugins except WooCommerce and recheck if the issue persists
IV. Check the browser dev console on errors (F12, on most if not all browsers)
V. Double-check your own Custom CSS, or Custom Snippets in function.php is causing it
VI. If you have setup the Porto Speed Optimization Wizard, then please reset it and set all the options to default, uncheck all the options and save changes/compile and check back your site after removing the cache of the browser.
Otherwise please contact us via our support system with your site WP Admin Login details so that we will check it for you on your site and help you out.
And also could you please purchase support extension to get further support? Your 6 months of support period is expired from 26/05/2021. According to Envato support policy, renewing support is required for further support.
Thanks for your understand.
Hi, thanks for your response.
I feel there is something else that’s not right… this issue only occured after the latest update.
I have followed the procedure you have suggested, still to no avail.
Please see how the site ‘was’ to how it ‘now’ here : https://postimg.cc/gallery/GcX98Fn
The bar across the middle of the text is clearly messed up…. this seems like a style sheet issue?
The ‘Quotes’ issue I also had seems to have sorted itself after I followed your procedure above, but the main part on the home page is just not working and makes the home page look awfui.
On further investigation, it appears that at least this style has been removed from your updated css?
.home-intro { background: #171717; overflow: hidden; position: relative; padding: 35px 0; text-align: left; letter-spacing: -.5px; }
Can you explain?
Hello, @MrADeveci,
Please check our theme changelog, we have added some new compile CSS options as well, and also some of the designs changes as well as this is our major update, and also please go to Porto >> Tools and remove the transit from there and Compile the CSS as well and if still, the issue will persist then you have to set it using the Custom CSS.
And also could you please purchase support extension to get further support? Your 6 months of support period is expired from 26/05/2021. According to Envato support policy, renewing support is required for further support.
Thanks for your understand.
Hi,
I do not understand why you would ‘remove’ a stylesheet styling from the CSS from a perfectly working website?
The update should add or update existing versions, unless there is a significant change in functionality that has to be removed, css does not change like that.
You are asking me to extend my support, because of something that you have essentially broken, how is that right?
Do you have a log of the CSS you have removed so I can add it into the custom css option at least?
Thanks.
Hello, @MrADeveci,
Actually, we have not removed any of the CSS but have enhanced it, so can you please contact us via our support system with your issues and your site WP-Admin URL and Login details so that our experts will check it for you on your site and help you out with Custom CSS.
That style has definitely been removed.
If you run a text search inside the entire 6.2.7 folder… you will find references to ‘home-intro’
Where as even in the latest 6.3.2 there is NO TRACE of the word ‘home-intro’
How is this enhanced? You’ve literally taken it out of the stylesheet and now the home page looks awful.
Please let me have the custom CSS code for that entire section at least here… I can’t be the only one affected by this problem.
The ‘home-intro’ is in the VC in the ‘Extra class name’ if you have removed that, what should that now be replaced with to replicate the same style?
Unfortunately not, my site is very locked down. Whenever I try to let you guys in before, it’s a nightmare.
WP Admin is locked, it’s IP restricted and doesn’t allow your IP as you have previously not been able to give me a static IP that I can whitelist.
I’ve since done my own research and have found all the code that was removed.
This is the entire code, in case anyone else has this issue:
.home-intro{background:#171717;overflow:hidden;position:relative;padding:35px 0;text-align:left;letter-spacing:-0.5px} .home-intro p{color:#999;display:inline-block;font-size:1.12em;font-weight:300;max-width:800px;letter-spacing:inherit} .home-intro p strong{color:#fff;display:block;font-size:1.25em;font-weight:600;padding-bottom:7px} .home-intro p em{font-size:1.6em;font-style:normal;font-weight:500} .home-intro .get-started{margin-top:5px;margin-bottom:5px;position:relative;text-align:right} @media (max-width:767px){ .home-intro .get-started{text-align:left;margin-top:30px}} .home-intro .get-started .btn{position:relative} .home-intro .get-started .btn i{font-size:1.1em;font-weight:normal;margin-left:5px} .home-intro .get-started a{color:#FFF} .home-intro .get-started p{font-size:1em;padding:0} .home-intro .learn-more{display:inline-block;white-space:nowrap;vertical-align:middle;margin-left:15px} .home-intro.light{background-color:#e2e2e2} .home-intro.light.secondary{background-color:#E0E1E4} .home-intro .btn{padding:1.15em 1.8em;font-size:1em}@keyframes pencilAnimation{0%{width:0}to{width:74px}
}
Hello, @MrADeveci,
Sound’s Good, that you have found it and solved your issue.
Regards, P-THEMES.
Dear Porto Theme Team,
after setting up the theme, I looked at the website and looked kind of broken. I have not downloaded all the plugins listed at the setup of the porto theme, this would overload my website with plugins and slow it down. Do you know what to do about this? I also downloaded a demo, but it is not showing the website right.
Thanks in advance KBG
Hello, @kbgchang,
I have just checked your site now and finds that the issue you are facing is not our theme issue but your site SSL certificate issue, please see this screenshot: https://postimg.cc/Lh3R0Thm so please read and follow the instructions written in our theme documentation here: https://www.portotheme.com/wordpress/porto/documentation/faq/site-distort-because-of-mixed-content-ssl-certificate-issue/ it will solve your issue.

All the best KBG team
You’re Most Welcome!!
It seems like a lot of the latest updates keep breaking sites. Can you please keep a better eye on this? I have some sites that I can’t update to new versions at all as it completely breaks the site.
Hello, @ebizunivcode,
Sorry for the inconviniance but there is no such issue with our latest theme update, so the issue you are facing on your sites might be because of the third party plugins conflictions, or your own Customization, so please try again to update the theme to the very latest version:
1. Take the complete backup of your site before updating the Theme for avoiding any inconvenience.
2. Deactivate all the third-party plugins before updating the Theme.
3. Take a Backup of your Custom Code and remove it from the site before an update of the Theme.
4. If you are using a Child Theme then Activate the Parent-Theme before updating the Theme.
5. Remove all the cache from your server, site and finally check back your site after removing the browser cache and check deeply what are the changes that occur on your site after that...
6. After that go to Appearance >> Themes and update the Theme One-Click automatically from there.
7. After that go to Appearance >> Install Plugins and update the Theme required/recommended plugins from there one by one.
8. After that check back your site after removing the browser cache and check deeply what are changes occur on your site after that and if all goes well then.
9. You have to again Activate the Child Theme.
10. Again activate all the third-party plugins one by one.
Finally, check back your site after removing the browser cache.
And if the issue will presists then please contact us via our support system with your site WP Admin Login details so that our experts will check it for you on your site and help you out.

Hello, the selection of products to be shown in the Porto widget on Elementor, for example the carousel, is there no possibility once you have entered the list of products to be able to move them like Drag and drop? It would be more comfortable!
Thanks

Hi. nice theme. I have a pre sales question. Is your theme compeyible with YITH plugins like YITH WooCommerce Product Add-Ons & Extra Options?
Hello, @farooqishere,
First of all, thanks for showing your interest in Porto WordPress
Sorry to say that but we have not tested those plugins officially with our theme yet, so we are unable to suggest you on it, you can try those at your own risk.

Hello Team,
Please every time you make an update it messes all my translation in Loco translate in French because you have a lot of translation errors. is there any possibility to prevent you from updating my translation. Thank you.
Hello, @yassernachid,
Tha might be because you have not placed the translation files in a correct folder, you have to change the translation files path as languages/loco/themes like: https://postimg.cc/tsz6519P and it will not override when ever you will update the theme.
And also could you please purchase support extension to get further support? Your 6 months of support period is expired from 27/05/2019. According to Envato support policy, renewing support is required for further support.

I can not choose the date in book form for hotel demo. Please advise. Please take a see at my site: https://thanhtrungauto.com/book-now/ Thank you
Hello, @zoho_media,
That Form has been made using Contact Form 7 plugin and the date picker option has been set using Custom JS, so you have to check the Contact Form and also the JS under Porto >> Theme Options >> Skin >> Custom JS and set as per your requirements: https://contactform7.com/date-field/

Is it possible for the corporate 12 layout, to have the 2nd menu section at the header. means 2 menu sections left and top?
Hello, @AnuMonIT,
First of all, thanks for showing your interest in Porto WordPress
You have to use the header builder functionality to create your own custom header and then you have to create 2 Menu’s, (Main Menu) and (Secondary Menu) and then set both the menus at any places as per your requirements: https://www.portotheme.com/wordpress/porto/documentation/header-builder/ & https://www.portotheme.com/wordpress/porto/documentation/menu-setup/

Hi,
WPBakery Page Builder and Layer Slider plugins are unable to update and requesting for purchase/activation.
I see my theme support has expired. If I renew support, would I be able to automatically update the plugins?
Thank you
Hello, @Prince_Appiah,
Layer Slider is not the theme packaged plugin so you have to ask from the Plugin Author about this.
WP Bakery: You can always get the latest updates of the Premium plugins with the Theme update in the Theme Package.
And there is no need to activate or purchase a new license for this plugin. This plugin is already included in the theme package and already purchased the license by P-Themes. This activation message for those who want to update the plugin directly from their website. In our case, you can receive the updated plugin always with the theme update release.
So no need to activate it, just ignore the message and feel free to use it.
You can not use the library/template of any Premium plugin including in any Theme Package, If you want to use the premium plugin library/template then you have to purchase that particular plugin license separately, this is Envato policy you may wish to confirm from them as well.
Regards, P-THEMES.
Thank you. Helpful.
But a new problem seems to have developed as I tried to update plugin Porto Functionality for another Porto theme website (with full license). The website went offline with an error message:
“This page isn’t working… website is currently unable to handle this request. HTTP ERROR 500”
Kind regards.
Hello, @Prince_Appiah,
Please make sure that first you have updated the theme to the very latest version and then update the plugin, if not then please run the backup of the site and try again and if yes then please make sure that your server requirements must meet the latest theme and plugins minimum requirements as listed below:
PHP version 7.4.
Memory Limit 256M or higher.
max_execution_time 600 or 1000
memory_limit 256M
max_input_vars 2000
post_max_size 64M
upload_max_filesize 64M
And if the issue will still presists then please contact us via our support system with your site WP Admin Login details so that we will check it for you on your site and help you out.
