the text partt of the article is a manual excerpt, when editing the post – click on Screen Options in upper right corner and make sure “Excerpt” is active. Now scoll down below then editor and chech the text field for excerpts to change it.
About the Read more text, this is a hardcoded string and can be changed into a custom string by using a plugins such as: https://wordpress.org/plugins/loco-translate/ the translation domain in this case is “unitedthemes”.

Is there a way to turn off UT portfolio links? We want to see the featured images scrolling across the page without the visitors being able to click on them and not visit the actual portfolio pages. We use Demo 43 Home Variant 1 if that helps

es desesperante, tuve que borrar todo del servidor y volver a instalar y se pudo. Anteriormente use el demo 42 y muy bien, pero ahora intento usar la demo 2 para esta otra licencia y fue imposible….toda la noche sin dormir y no pude entregar. Es imposible conseguir donde y como editar la parte del cabecero de la pagina principal donde dice MARKETING – WEB DEVELOPMENT – VIDEO PRODUCTION WE BUILD BRANDS tampoco puedo editar a foto de fondo….solo se ve y permite editar a partir de about. Tambien probando si funcionada la demo 42 si funciona. Pero me ha instalado muchos paginas nuevas y al borrar la semo….no se borran las paginas creadas….o hice y ahora no tengo nada…hay unas paginas en la papelera pero es caotico porque estan mezcladas- que hago ara comenzar de cero y eliminar todo y volver a instalar? como lo hice no funciono.

that a slider revolution in this case. If you download the all files and documentation zip here at temeforest – it will contain a folder with all slider we mad including the one from the demo.
Manual import it under Slider Revolution in your Dashboard and then copy the shortcode and use the Custom Shortcode Hero to place it.

Hello, first off great work on the design! Top marks.
I’m in the market for a suitable theme to launch a luxury fashion store with minimal simple designs at the core of what will be a limited catalog. Not more than 50 items at any given time. Would this theme be suitable to reconfigure as a WooCommerce store and adapt to this need? None of the demos were for ecommerce and I’m not sure I have the technical or UI/UX design background to take up this project on my own. I just haven’t come across a WooCommerce dedicated theme that truly stood out with a design philosophy similar to yours and a backend to match. So I thought I’d reach out and ask if adapting it to an online store is as daunting a task as it seems.
Tip – I’m pretty sure united themes would be an even “huger” hit if you offered a theme geared towards eCommerce from the start. Hope its in the works – for everyone’s sake.

thanks for your comment and your interest. Basically the theme already has all the necessary features such as header carts etc. to run and manage a shop with woocommerce and when it comes to store pages and product pages it also has templates which can be used / modified. For example: https://themeforest.unitedthemes.com/wpversions/brooklyn/demo45/portfolio-slug/bangkok/ or https://themeforest.unitedthemes.com/wpversions/brooklyn/demo48/portfolio-item/magan-aldean/ but at least you have to assemble those elements and this is something that relies on your skills.
We have something like on the roadmap for a long time and also development but there is no eta.

It’s actually all pages that are showing the issue, i.e. vc code frontend. WP 6.0 seems to deactivate the Brooklyn Page Builder

PHP 5.6 is not supported and not recommended since its EOL. But 8 should work, are you sure that the version was switched corretcly? the shown error is a typical php5.6 error.

thats the same error as before. Did you change the PHP Version only for a certain folder? If thats the case, make sure the PHP Vesion applied to the root folder of WordPress as well as the wp-admin folder.

I really need help with this. This is my favourite theme so far! Ive imported demo 43, the one that has react carrousel and like in the demo i need to put a selfhosted video or, i just need to put a 7sec video.. ive tried h264, webm, can you please help me? Where do I set a short teaser for the carrosel like you did in the demo?
Its buggy! Ive tried every kind of videos, codecs, its crashes the entire hosting. Im on hosting cloud hosting, everyelse es blazing fast but when we use this ‘video preview’ in the react carrousel it crashes the entire hosting

when editing the portfolio item, there is a tab inside Brooklyn Metapanel which says Showcase Settings, this is where you upload the necessary files for the preview video. Provide the files as requested on the interface. We are using the default browser html video tags to display and play videos. A crash is very uncommon here. Please open a thread in our support forum.
