I use ALB to edit my pages, when I use the elements in the canvas the edits are fine but when I preview the page only the content shows the featured images do not show unless I use the default editor, without any elements with that editor I can’t add any notification boxes or anything fancy. I tried removing all my plugins and nothing worked only the default editor will make the featured image show. Please help.

why is setting up the blog so painful? i already got my post pages when i click them it the content doesn’t load at all the feature images are not matching their posts, what I though should have taken a few clicks take hrs. the content element blog posts do nothing but make the post look like a blog do i add the boxes under this element? point me where i can find the full setup. I’m trying to get the blog single author big.

If you would like to create your blog page using Advanced Layout Builder, please go to Enfold theme options > Blog Layout > Blog Layout and choose “Use advanced layout editor” option. Then you can edit Blog Posts element on your blog page and change the blog style

OK that worked, but I’m having some issues loading the side bar in a page since the blog seems to only work on a page to list the posts, I’m aiming at the demo look, do I have to resize my feature images to have them show like how it looks in the demo?
I have a little problem with content elements tabs in one of my pages adding it is fine but the contents vanish from the tabs when I hit upload the page. I add the information back again and again same issue.

Are you using custom HTML in your content? If so, please make sure that they are opened and closed correctly. Most users make mistake adding Strong tag for example. The correct way of using it would be as following

Thanks, I figured it out, the tabs will not save anything that has emoji in it once I removed the emoji and write in the info it saved very good. Thanks for the fast reply. This is why I choose you guys.

Yes, Enfold 5.2.1 works with WordPress 6.1.x. We have not been able to update software version as WP 6.1.x is not available on Themeforest yet

Which version of Enfold, WooCommerce, WordPress and PHP are you using? Please make sure everything is updated. Our systems says “No Updates available. You are running the latest version! (4.5.4)”!
Is that because of “Enfold Child” Theme? It is confusing. We are connected to ENVATO, but it wont get the Update to the new theme versions.
The main problem is that on the start page the video is not shown in the background, although everything is set correctly.
Please give a brief idea of the solution. Thank you

Updates seem disabled on your installation. If you are using a child theme, please insert your Personal Token in Enfold child theme options. Alternatively, you can use Envato Market plugin to update the theme from WP dashboard

Quick answer to all of your questions is yes
Enfold is compatible with PHP version 8.x and supports boxed (here is an example – https://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-blog/ ) and framed ( https://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-resume/ ) layouts. You can also adjust the colors as needed in Enfold theme options

Have you modified header.php or footer.php files on your child theme? If you have, please update those files. You can simply rename header.php or footer.php files in your child theme to old-header.php or old-footer.php, copy fresh copies from your parent theme, paste them in your child theme and re-apply your modifications

Hello. I want to use the ALB Element “Page Content” to embed a page that is created in a custom post format in a page design. Problem is that I can only select standard pages in the dropdown that is in the ALB Element “Page Content”. How can I get the option to select also other post types? Thank you.

- Copy /enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/postcontent/postcontent.php file to your child theme inside /shortcodes/ folder
- Add this code to functions.php file of your child theme – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/intro-to-layout-builder/#add-elements-to-alb
- Open postcontent.php file on your child theme and find following line

For a workaround, please add following code to Quick CSS in Enfold theme options > General Styling and replace “your.site” with your own domain

Website CRASHED after Update
ALL Lightbox elements open outside the viewport.
This is the most severe issue in a long list of issues coming with Enfold
.....and all images in lightboxes are stretched to full width even when they are much smaller.
I have no words for such failures
I just updated to the latest version and the X to remove the item in the cart (using WooCommerce) is just a dot/circle now – so it is not identifiyed as icon to remove the item… has there been a change? I already deactivated everything – just left Woo and Enfold active…

The issue is related to CSS file merging and compression. You can temporarily disable it in Enfold theme options > Performance or use additional CSS Rikard provided in the thread you shared.
And yes, our devs are working on it and fix will be included in upcoming version
