1 We are using our unique pre-packed plugin that comes within the Rental demo import by default. There is no need to install extra plugins, to use Rental features
2. Yes, when you will install the theme and import the demo layout, it will automatically install and activate all the needed plugins according to the installed demo layout
3. The theme is SEO friendly by default. However, suggesting and SEO changes could not be done from our end. Mostly, SEO optimizations you can do with the help of plugins like Yoast SEO
4. There are no Listings in the Rental demos by default. Rental Items are Simple Products of Woocommerce integrated with the Rental platform. You can observe all the Rental items from the Reservation page
5. Yes, for changing and translating static strings you can use the Loco translate plugin. The theme is ready for translations by default
6. Unfortunately, there is no such kind of option by default

I see the option “Advanced Search” in the searcher. I don’t see how to configure it in the documentation. Is the “Advanced Search” option available in all demos?
Other question about searcher is: can I filter in the searcher by “features” of the cars? I see in all examples of searcher that you only cand add the listing as a filter but in single car page includes also “features” I would like to know if I can use it in the search filters.

The Stm Post type is the theme’s default pre-packed plugin, this plugin comes within the demo import stage by default. When you will install and import the demo layout, all the pre-packed plugins will be installed automatically. In addition, you can install/activate/update all the theme pre-packed plugins under the WordPress dashboard > appearance > install plugins section

Plugins like WP Bakery page builder are not free in general. We have bought those paid plugins from our end and included them into our theme packages as external plugins and they are active from the theme side, so you can use those plugins without any restriction. All the updates we will include with the theme regular updates. So, the update of the plugins you will be able to get as soon as there will be the theme update

Hello, I’m finally getting to master this template which is very nice and quite easy. I have one questions regarding the listings, in my home page I would like to show for example only the SUV’s and in Elementor I can only sort by *listings and that is the only option I have. Am I my missing something in order to make what category I would like in the home page or if I would like to show precise cars in the homepage? Thank you for your help, Laurent

I updated the theme to the latest version and now, the dashboard won’t load (website is up, I can log out and access the login page), it times out. How can I get previous versions of the theme to upload via FTP?

Unzip the motors.zip archive you downloaded from ThemeForest.
Connect to your WordPress site via FTP/Cpanel and navigate to the following directory: ”.../wp-content/themes/”.
Now that you have unzipped the motors folder in Step 2 and found the themes directory in Step 3, upload the motors folder into the themes directory. (You need to accept the replacement).
Then navigate to the following directory: ”.../wp-content/plugins/” and remove the folders called ‘stm-post-type’ and ‘stm-motors-extends’.
Connect to your WordPress dashboard and navigate to Appearance > Install Plugins.
Select the STM Post Type and STM Motors Extends plugins and click Install via Bulk Actions.
Get Fatal Error after the STM Post Type update to v4.5.6?
Login to your ThemeForest profile and download the Motors package (All files & documentation).
Unzip the motors package and navigate to the Bundled Plugins folder.
In the Bundled Plugins folder, find the STM Motors Extends plugin zip archive.
Unzipping the plugin zip archive.
Connect to your WordPress site via FTP/Cpanel and navigate to the following directory: ”.../wp-content/plugins/”.
Find the stm-motors-extends folder and remove it. Upload the unzipped stm-motors-extends folder in Step 2 to the ”.../wp-content/plugins/” directory.

Fixed after 2 hours of sleuthing and using your reply!
The culprit came down to the required ‘stm-motors-extends’ plugin that was outdated, it was on v1.8.9. The template was updated to 5.3.6, but that plugin needed to be updated as well to v1.9.0, but it couldn’t because the template update prevented the dashboard loading to update that very plugin.

After creating a staging site, I had to use FTP to disable each plugin to identify the culprit.
Thanks for taking the time to detail the steps. Next time that there is a theme update, what do you suggest to prevent this happening again?
