Does the gallery support before-after slider like with BEAF or Twenty20 plugins? I intend to use a slider like that on each gallery item.

Is this an error in the theme or can you give me some pointers on what I can do to improve the performance? I disabled all plugins that is not associated with Oshine and performance was still not good.

Please add support for looping videos as portfolio thumbnails (featured images). Currently only works with still images and gifs. I’ve been asking for this feature for over 3 years now.

We have added an option where you add a video to portfolio images that play after you click on the image, as a lightbox.

That is not what I’m looking for. Specifically I would like the theme to support video (mp4 etc) as portfolio post featured images. The videos should then autoplay and loop in the portfolio module, and when you click a project it opens the post. Not a lightbox.

I am interested in buying Oshine to make replace my current personal video portofolio website : www.julieneger.com because it is not updated anymore :/ Do you think it is possible to make the same kind of website with Oshine ?

I see there is many way to customize portofolios for images but does those templates works with videos too ?

I mainly need a customizable video portofolio page that support lightbox self hosted videos and another portofolio with images that open each video project on click. Do you think it is possible to do so ?

I looked for v20 and v44 example, they seem to do so but it’s not very clear for me… Does other examples support self hosted videos ?

Yes You can use self hosted video video with oshine theme.

I bought the theme and I have a problem with self hosted video lightbox opening with a bug on mobile (iphone, ipads…). I sent a ticket saturday with a photo of the problem. Did you receive it ? Thank you.

Hi guys, I know my support has expired, but I have a question about image aspect ratio’s, specifically about the featured image about blog posts. I have uploaded an image wich is 1080×720 (image ratio of 1.5) and selected it to be my featured image for the blog post.

In the masonry section of all blog posts it looks perfect, because the aspect ratio is also 1.5. But when I open the single blog post, the big picture at the top of the screen is extremely blurry. When I look at the dimensions of this picture, the aspect ratio is suddenly 1.66 (and for some reason, on another post it is 1.54).

How can I scale my images so it looks good on both pages (overview with masonry and the single blog post?)

The thing is, I’m trying to write a blog about blurry pictures and how to fix them and it looks a bit silly to have a blurry picture featuring ;)

I tried submitting a ticket through your support but I think your portal doesn’t work correctly… My portfolio sliders have just stopped appearing, they show as code. I’ve realised my Oshine core plugin has been deactived and it won’t let me reactivate… please help!

Hi there. When I add new portfolio items, they don’t display in portfolio page. Is that a bug? I don’t have any categories, they should automatically show there. All other previous portfolio items are displaying and cache was cleared.

We have been a Oshine user for several years now. The theme is updated and since november the Portfolio pages, posts and everything that is linked to Portfolio isn’t working anymore. No changes have been made since the install years ago.

We debugged it by disableing all plugins, these have no effects.

We believe there is something wrong with the product since your last update. This is a standard website which hasn’t changed in pages, content or technically, we didn’t add anything or change anything which could affect a working website.

1. Can you tell us if something changes during your update with the portfolio section? 2. If you take a look at the page https://osees.nl/portfolio/ you should see a page with 2 images left and right (portfolio page template with horizontal carousel slider). The slider won’t load. The page is empty 3. https://osees.nl/portfolio/brandstrategy/ is a portfolio post page with a single portfolio page builder. In tatsu their is built a page with portfolio category and style chosen. Nothing is showing anymore, without any change from our side. 4. Single portfolio post items are shown (https://osees.nl/portfolio/hestiafire/) but the category or portfolio based pages that has been there for years, are no empty. 5. to be absolute sure we didn’t miss a thing: we 1)created a whole new page and portfolio category, 2)set it to portfolio template, 3)saved it, 4)changed it to ‘horizontal carousel slider’ and 5) added a portfolio category both to the ‘portfolio page template options’ and then 6) saved the page.

Can you tell us, what changed in the portfolio theme? To us this is not a support ticket. This is a product related issue, due to the fact that we didn’t change anything, and the website was functional, before the last update.

To add to this comment: the galleries, in page portofolio’s.. Nothing that has to show portfolio works anymore. The whole theme isn’t working. What the hell is going on? Our whole portfolio website is now disfunctional and all due to your product and updates.

I’m quite surprised because generally the support were very kind and proactive.. but i cannot say the same in the last period.. BTW..

I had a problem with the background video in the hero section.. basically the MP4 or WEBM video were not loading in the browsers and in the mobiles.

The support told me to ask to my developer but probably they forget that i’m my developer, but a web developer have not necessarily to be a programmer. in any case..

the issue i fund is that for both situations, browser and mobile, in the css code is defined “display: none !important” in the class .be-bg-video and in the class .be-video-section that do not allow the video to load.

for the browser i solved adding a custom css where i defined somehow the display and the video’s dimensions, like the following:

.be-bg-video { display: flex !important; position: absolute; width: 1920px !important; height: 1080px !important; z-index: 0; top: 0; left: 0; }

i don’t know if “flex” is correct but it is working.

I could not solve easily the issue with the phone, i tried to overwrite the .be-video-section without results, but if i completely delete the class in a html simulation the video is visible in the mobile but is not responsive, the dimensions still the original ones..

at this point dear customer support, could you be so kind as to help the people that have the same issues with a concrete solution and not a provisional solution that i found? i will really appreciate that.

Hi guys! One of my websites developed an issue with Portfolio page: https://www.shanetincufilms.com/. If you scroll to below the portfolio carousel, there is another portfolio module below it, but the featured images are not showing up. You can still hover over and find the four buttons, but whatever I do, I can’t get the featured background images to appear.

Any help would be appreciated.

I recently extended my support to request a certain kind of help with the theme, and got nowhere, rendering the support a waste of money. Was also told the 14 day refund policy only applied to the theme itself, not the support function, even though I felt my question hadn’t been answered. I’ll ask it here, in case someone else has identified a solution.

I have used the theme for a while without ecommerce, and went to add a store to my site. The filters in my sidebar by default drop below the products when in mobile mode, making them essentially useless for mobile users. I wanted to find a way to move these to the top on mobile so they could be used, but was told it’s just how the theme is built and that I’m out of luck. Often when I have used other themes, the support teams are quick to help with changes like this, at least offering some advice, but none was offered here. If there really is no solution to this, I would strongly suggest nobody use this theme if they expect to need ecommerce in the future as filtering won’t work properly on mobile.

I am frustrated with support. I submitted a ticket like I was instructed, but when I go to view it, it says it’s sending a secure login link and I NEVER receive it despite the multiple times submitting it and checking my spam. How am I supposed to see my status of my ticket if I can’t even get to it?! In the past I have never had issues like this from you guys…

I then came back to my comment since this is where people usually respond, and I gave my concern about not being able to login to see the status of my ticket and my question was overlooked. I asked for other ways to view this and I got no help. I then went to your website to contact someone and no one ever got back to me. It isn’t helpful to me if I can’t submit a ticket if I can’t see what the solution is.

I recently rebought support, and as of right now it has been a complete waste of money! I am so frustrated and just want help. :(

Hi, I tried to update Plugins Master Slider Pro (v3.6.1 -> v3.6.5) and Slider Revolution (6.5.24 -> 6.6.7) If I deactivate those plugins, there is no update link. Didn’t see Appearance -> Install Plugins either. Any suggestions how to update them? Thank you

Hello, I was a happy user of Oshine and Tatsu until I discovered your code is full of spam. What the F—-? If you search for some blue pills inside your code, you will find it everywhere in your theme. I’m very very unhappy now with the purchase.
