Lots of new bugs with the new versions of : Archive post grid. Porto Post grid

Archive post grid: Pagination does not work, no element is shown apart from those entered in the Count per page field.

Porto post grid: Filtering by category doesn’t work for any category.

The other old widgets Porto Blog and Porto recent article have been deprecated by you.

I did a thorough debugging, deactivated all plugins except porto and wpbakery. I cleared the cache via server.

I have opened 2 tickets, 1 for more than 10 days.

But no solution was found and I can’t work.

Hi, Team

Great thanks for Alex who helped me find out the bugs of theme. The woocommerce dashboard and analytics dashboard now show up correctly. Previously they are shown in blank pages. I was told to wait for the next theme update in which the bug will be fixed.

After upgraded to php 8.0, the theme is not working, and showing “PHP message: PHP Fatal error: Array and string offset access syntax with curly braces is no longer supported”

Our theme is fully compaitable with the PHP version 8, this seems to be your site third party plugin is conflicting, please try to deactivate the plugins on your site and check back again.

Good morning, in our web, when we use the pagination, the images of the following pages (2, 3…) are not shown. To display the images you have to reload the web. Please turn OFF the Skeleton Mode first from Porto >> Theme Options >> General.

And then make sure to uncheck the “Lazy Load Images” from Porto >> Speed Optimization Wizard >> Performance and then check back to your site after removing the browser cache.

Can we design different menus for mobile And desktop in this theme

First of all, thanks for showing your interest in Porto WordPress :)

Actually the Mobile Menu only picks the “Main Menu” from the site, but we have the option as “Secondary Menu” as well which you can use, under the Header Builder functionality of our theme for the Desktop version, and show different Menu on Desktop and Mobile easily.

We have installed the theme version 6.7.3 with php7.4. We have imported the Demo Content Shop 3 Demo with Elementor but the layout is not correct, everything is out of place without the demo layout.

The Elementor plugin and the Porto Theme – Functionality plugin are active and working.

1. I will first describe the industry factory services and single service page.

The services page is the archive page and you can build with the archive of the Porto template.

And you should build the single service page with the single builder.

They are different concepts.

If I may – I recommend you add to the theme options our ability to set the icon for our website – either bag or cart. Consider using the same as we chose for Header > WooCommerce > ‘Mini Cart Icon’ – or add similar to WooCommerce > Cart Page & Checkout Page. Maybe you forgot you also have an icon showing in the empty cart and checkout pages showing the bag even though your text is all about the cart. Until you add this ability to theme options, we will need to override your template files, which is not worth it for this – and I don’t think we can change the icon using CSS, can we?. To be specific – search your override files for: porto-icon-bag-2

Yes you can change the cart icon on cart and check and checkout empty pages using the Custom CSS code, Please copy and paste the below given CSS code to Porto >> Theme Options >> Skin >> Custom CSS and check back to your site after removing the browser cache.

We have updated to latest version and now our 2 menus are displayed in tabs in the mobile menu where as before they were displayed as one menu. How can we get it back to showing both menus not as tabs please?

Most of WordPress plugins aren’t compatibility with php 8.0 or above. So, 7.4 is more safe.

Just some feedback – We have had a really bad time with this theme. The WP Bakery plugin is very basic and hardly works at all. So we started again this time using Elementor – Now, we are developers, so we are not novices, but we encountered issue after issue, and how you expect a non deveoper to work this editor is beyond me. Visual composer is far superior, more stable, and way easier and faster to use, but you seem to have fallen in love with Elementor. Your theme seems to be a compromise between opposing editors, and the end result is neither work very well. Unless you provide a full version of Visual Composer, which actually works! We wont be buying Porto theme again. A shame, because your theme has been around a long time.

Fair enough – but the POINT IS – Visual Composer does NOT WORK properly in the way you have incorporated it. We have built hundreds of sites using Visual Composer – we know it inside out. It simply doesnt work the way you have set things up.
