Hi, I have a question: In the post widget I build a query in table form, creating a simple list: the left column I show the category and in the right column the product name. I set the query to order on Name (ascending). But the list orders on Product name, can I set this so the list orders the category section on the left alphabetically instead of the product name? In this list the category is more important.

No sorry the Posts Query is not coded to follow the order of the categories, as you can see from the options it’s the Title that commanding the order.
The only thing I can suggest is to try to create several Posts modules each with the Query to a Category and put them in the layout one behind the other, maybe you can adjust some with CSS, and maybe the result could be what you need (if I understand the request).
Hi, thanks for your respons. yeah I understand what you mean, but that’s not going to work in this case, because client creates those categories and there will be a lot. I would like this section to be automatic. So there is no default way to list the product categories (alphabetically) with the links to the products under those categories? Kind regards.
Hi Foodstijl! Yes there is no way, honestly, I never heard of WordPress alphabetical order per category, this is a very custom request.

there’s an uncode_settings option name in my wp options table that’s huge, and also an “uncode” option name. what are these for? they are autoloaded

Yes, we have been working on this for some time to optimise the database. The autoload of the ‘uncode_settings’ option has been set to ‘no’ since Uncode 2.6.0, along with other options. You may not see it because you have not updated the settings since then: to do so, you would need to enable or disable a new custom post type (for example, disable WooCommerce for a moment and then re-enable it). Or, if you prefer, you can insert this snippet into your child theme:

Update a frontend page and then remember to remove the snippet.
For the other cases, I advise you to wait for the next update because we are still evaluating them: these are category settings, tags, taxonomies, etc. Some are needed in autoload. Certainly the ‘uncode’ option must be in autoload instead.

Hey there! Simple question, but it seems that I can’t give a column rounded corners + colored borders at the same time, using the the page builder options. Hi 84studios! Yes I apologize but it is not possible via Page Builder to apply a border and at the same time have the border radius. This is unfortunately a problem, which as simple as it seems, could not be solved. The Uncode grid offers so many options but this was not evaluated many years ago.

How to reproduce the error:
1. Set the site language to german. 2. Create a page and insert post query with products. (have woocommerce installed) 3. Check the page and you will see the “Select Options” or “Add to cart” buttons in German. (expected behaviour) 4. Edit the created page and add a contact form 7 (any).Update the page. 5. Check the page and you will see the “select Options” or “Add to cart” buttons in english.
Summary, there is language conflict bug with contact form 7. As long as contact form 7 is not on the page everything works as expected. As soon as a contact form is added, the buttons switch to english. Very strange.
I would be very grateful if you could look into this, I am happy to support you in any way. Thank you very much in advance.

A few days ago, a problem like that was reported for Contact Form 7 https://wordpress.org/support/topic/cf7-is-breaking-the-localization-translation/ which was, however, fixed in version 5.7.4 the same one you seem to have on your site. If this is not the case, I advise you to update Contact Form 7.
I’d also recommend disabling any extra plugins, especially if you have some related to CF7, and see if the problem is caused by one of them.

without those settings my page speed results are very bad. there is a lot of unused CSS and JS from your theme according to page speed insights

It was what we had already noticed a few weeks ago if I’m not mistaken if you have dozens of extra plugins these contribute to penalizing the scores of the site (which are different from the speed for a user of the site). Please at least share the URL of your site (of course disable ALL extra plugins first because it looks exactly like an issue related to a possible extra plugin that is causing problems).

After the last update I cannot place svg files into single media modules without the whole page crashing or just eternally loading when I click edit on the module. I cannot use the dynamic media feature either to assign svg files from featured image or secondary featured image.

Hi, I have LCP issues on all pages. LCP score is very bad, over 4 sec for almost every page. I think it’s the header image. Any way to load that faster?
Hi supermex! Please note that big header images are always penalised by Page Speed. As you can tell 4 seconds is an absurdity of the tool because I don’t think it is. Of course I hope you have optimized these images. Unfortunately without a link to your site it is not possible to say more.

Hi, actually LCP tells you how long it takes for the main content of the page to load and be “read” by the user. This makes me think of some caching service that your server has enabled or some service that enables cookies, because otherwise, it wouldn’t even go the first time.

If you have the same problem you need to try disabling Uncode and see what happens with default theme and show us.
Thanks for the info! When I go into the Theme Options > Performances tab, I am not seeing the same options that are outlined in the screengrab in the instructions. Even after I toggle off the Adaptive Images there is no place for me to activate the Dynamic Srcset. I took a screengrab of what I see, but am not sure how to upload it to the comments board here :\

Hi snuk! The “Read More”, by default, in WordPress is only supposed to work on Blog Post to create the introductory text for the main index page (the list with all blog entries). It’s not supposed to work for normal text. We are sorry but there is not a simple trick we can suggest to create what you ask.
