The theme page does not state that theme is WordPress is 6.1 compliant? Php 8.2 compliant? I see lots of trouble tickets about this version and would like to upgrade with confidence. Can we get a new version this week please? Please advise on these issues. Thank you.
(Also will you be having a Wordpress 6/2 version up and running by March 23? The lag times have been too long the last few versions.)

We didn’t add WP 6.1 compatibility on ThemeForest because the last time we checked, it wasn’t available. I’ll ask Kriesi to check once again.
I quickly tested the latest beta version of Enfold with PHP 8.2 and WP 6.2-beta4 and it looks like there are no issues.
Please create a staging copy of your site and update the theme there to be on the safe side.
Unfortunately, I cannot provide an estimate of when the new version will be available.

Wordpress 6.2 out later this month. You did not fully confirm the theme works on Wordpress 6.1. Could you please confirm that? Also based on the number of tickets I can see on this, I can tell that there is a number of errors in current version of that require an immediate bug fix release for stable Worpdress 6/1 this needs to be released this week because we need to upgrade to 6/1/1 prior to 6.2 release date. I have a problem with a page not loading in the ALB. I have 8 months of support remaining, on the last license I purchased, to ask for help on the forum. I am logged in there (https://kriesi.at/support). I can not find any place to open a new topic. In fact when I try to search, I’m getting a Wordpress message: There has been a critical error on this website.
Where can I get support from Kriesi???
BTW, I have tried everything I can think of: restarting, trying 4 different browsers, clearing all cache, shutting off anti-virus, calling my hosting, turning off plugins, resetting my router…
I don’t want to lose days of work! Help, Kriesi!!!
In desperation, I found a similar problem on the Enfold support forum (kriesi.at/support) and commented on someone else’s thread/post/question, because (even though I have paid support account and a login) I can not find anywhere to create a new topic.
I got the following response: “Mike”replied, “Hi,* Please open a new thread with the url to the page in question and an admin login so we can be of more assistance. Best regards, Mike” And sent me a link to the same page, that I already explained had no place to start a new thread. It even came back with WordPress critical error messages when I tried to do a search.
AND THEN he closed the previous thread to new comments.
So, #1) I can’t make a new thread (topic) which I was clear about to begin with. #2) I can not reply to a previous thread. #3) And the email that was sent from “MIke” doesn’t accept replies. #4) There is no phone number or chat for Kriesi here and on their site.
I don’t know what is going on. I’ve always liked using Enfold. If someone there would help me with the support I paid for, I will be happy to revise my comments here.
But as it stands, Kriesi is getting harder and harder to get support from. I am losing HOURS of work, not to mention the frustration of trying to contact them. After several years and several license purchases, it has gotten worse and worse. Again, if I can get just a little bit of support, I will revise this.
This may or may not be an issue with the theme. There are a lot of parts that have to work together correctly. But, support shouldn’t be so dang hard to get. BUYERS BE WARE!

Mike at Kriesi fixed my problem. I’m way behind now, but so glad I haven’t lost the hours of work!
I do wish there was a better way to work with support, though. All a customer can do is create an account, figure out how to get a new thread started (it’s not obvious, you have to search first then catch the link at the top), then…. wait for someone to respond. That is nerve racking when it is an emergency.
That said, I have used Enfold theme for several years and for several clients. I love the theme.
Well, not so fast. I can get the page content to load into ALB. But, when I save it, it is getting corrupted. Back to the support forum….
@Yeet My thread on the support forum is not being replied to. I am not getting support for my issue which is now critical to me.
I have loved using Enfold since 2016. But the longer you use it, the greater the probability you will need tech support. Websites are not a short-term commitment. Customers need to feel they can count on Kriesi, especially when they are paying for the service.
I have composed a full review on the Kriesi support system and how it works. I will be submitting for public review boards in various services shortly.
Also, I recommend customers visit the Enfold Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/kriesi.at) to read the comments under the posts. Take note of how old some of the comments are and the amount of responses from Kriesi.

Hi Yigit, thanks, I solved the problem! 
Not Elementor compatible. I should have read before buying, now I regret it and wasted money because I won’t use it. I bought this for a particular demo, and after importing the demo, I then realized how unforgiving and unversitile this theme is. There is no front-end visual builder so you can see what you’re doing as you make changes. I’ve used Enfold on 2 client’s themes years ago and it hasn’t advanced much. It’s not easy to control the layout of items like Elementor. Too bad.

“cURL error 28: Connection timeout after 10000 ms”
Tried Shop and Visual Artist demos from GitHub.
avia_demo_files folder mentioned on https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/import-demos/ didn’t exist after the theme and child theme installation so I created it.
What else do I need to do please?

Hi Yigit, I’ve read on various posts that you plan to introduce the functionality to filter images galleries (a very welcome and important function). Is it possible to know approximately when it could be introduced? In the meantime, can you recommend a gallery plugin with this functionality that is fully compatible with enfold?

Unfortunately, there is no easy of implementing this as there are no tags in the gallery.
As for the gallery plugin, I don’t have any recommendations sadly. Enfold users use the NextGen Gallery however I’m not sure if it supports this functionality. Please contact their team and ask if that’s possible.

Hi, after the last WordPress update, the admin toolbar in the frontend disappeared. When I change the theme, the toolbar is shown. I already deactivated all the plugins, but the issue is because of the theme. Is there something known?

Hi guys,
I have a lot of issues with this theme since a while now. The WPML doesn’t work properly, the menu for the mobile doesn’t work if I use a custom menu and only if I use the standard menu. The update to latest version 5 can’t be done also.
How can I fix all this issues?

There is a bug in your theme related to templating for The Events Calendar. Your file at themes/enfold/config-events-calendar/view/single-event.php cannot be overridden. If I create the same file in my child theme, it is ignored. I need to change the layout of the single event, and my only choice appears to be to edit your original theme file, which will get overridden when I update the theme. Please correct this bug by instructing your theme to look for the single-event.php file in the child theme first. Let me know. Thanks.

For a new website we bought license of Enfold. The upload of the Enfold.zip file (only – not all the collected files) results in the message “The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet”. The downloaded file is about 65 MB and has the short designation Enfold.zip. In previous installations the filename looked e.g. like
“themeforest-G9GTLE77-enfold-responsive-multipurpose-theme-wordpress-theme.zip” and had a size only of 19.4 MB
Those files could be uploaded and installed without any problem. Running the site with another Enfold copy just for testing, is perfect. The downloaded file from the recently bought additional copy does not work.
Questions: how could I get the installable 19.4 MB Enfold file (with the long name)? what else could I do to upload and install Enfold. I want to do this via Wordpress – not ftp.

I found the error. I will post the solution here for everybody who receives that message:
If you download “only the Enfold file” you will receive a Zip File 65 MB entitled “Enfold.zip”. If you try to upload and install it you fail with the above message.
If you download “all files” you will receive a folder entitled something like
“themeforest-1DWVVPkF-enfold-responsive-multipurpose-theme”
This folder contains the same files which you receive when you unpack “Enfold.zip”.
Both unpacked folders contain a file entitled “enfold.zip” with a lower case “E”. that file is 19.4 MB. It can be uploaded and installed.
Finally, the downloading menu “file only” or “all files” is erroneously confusing. You get the same, once packed, once unpacked. What you should use is the file inside with the lower case theme designation.
For some reason one of my Enfold sites is generating thousands of .js files whose file name start with this:
avia-footer-scripts-84a0e00a89180d254770345f6a29ea1b…..
Any ideas what they are and how I can stop them?

I suddenly have a large white space at the bottom of my page, just above the footer. The section is called after_section_. I don’t see anything on the page that is causing it.

Please try deactivating all active plugins and check if that helps. If you added content above your footer using a code snippet, please remove that as well.
