Good day, I have used the Bride Theme for a website that is no longer online. I would like to use the theme for another site. However, I can not run the activation because the message comes that the theme is already used with this key. How can I delete the key so I can use the theme for another site?

Thanks for writing in! Until the update you will be able to achieve this if you edit the theme file and the path is:
wp-content/plugins/bridge-core/modules/qode-custom-post-types.php
So you will need to add:
'show_in_rest' => true,

This will be added within the future update of the theme for sure.

Please I want to ask a prepurchase question. Just 2 of them. 1. do you plan to retire any of your demos especially Bridge Luxury & Bridge Unique place? because the reason I am buying another theme is because the theme I bought just in 2021 the Author has discontinue its support, he doesn’t even want me to renew my support plan. Secondly. is there a way to see how the mobile view of the aforementioned demos looks like especially its menu tabs before its purchased?

Also Bridge theme does have certain options such as disabling icon packages and the loading of specific JS files to improve the performance if needed.

Updating from version 18.1 to the latest version. Although I had removed all the previous theme / plugins still when I update install the new theme, register it and install the core plugin / visual composer plugins, the entire site styles are out and none of the qode sliders are working. What is the issue here?
I had exported the theme options from old version to the new version still having the same issue.

After update from 17.0 to 29.4 not many items are displayed. In their place there are shortcodes, which cannot be edited even with the visual composer builder. For example [qode_elements_holder , [social_icons , [button

I have the Art Portfolio theme and the homepage logo is not linked. How do I add the URL as it works on mobile but not on web. When I inspect the element q_logo_vertical , I can see a URL reference in the code but it still doesnt link on the page. Thanks

Please stop creating demos such that imports do not exactly replicate what’s on your demo. Your documentation is spotty in showing people how each section is put together so they can mimic and build upon that. Also, some of the things you design in your demo appear to be “on the fly” like in Creative Magazine, it appears that the latest posts are appearing as posted in the navigation when it’s really just your wide menu with 3-4 separate manually placed entries. If I’m wrong that’s your fault for not documenting or telling people how to do it. That’s sort of like false advertising when you’re trying to automate things for your clients. I’m getting super frustrated with this theme because 1) you killed your public access for community tickets where people can learn from others, 2) no documentation for demo specific areas

Once you import a demo you will get a precise replication on every live demo that is presented on our website demo so we are not sure what displays differently on your end.

Hi pre-purchase questions 1) when I go into some of the demo wpbakery sites I get sections jumping when I scroll down the page. It will just from one section to the other but may land in the middle of the section. scroll doesn’t glide smoothly. An example is the Psychotherapy website demo. 2) can I transfer this theme from a temporary domain to the live domain name when I have finished working on it, (same client) I see people are talking about having to deregister the theme first. by deregistering does this break the theme and all its content? thank you

thank you for your prompt reply An example is the Psychotherapy, hairdresser, makeup artist, websites are some of the examples that just don’t scroll well. They land in the middle of sections. Thank you for clarifying the deregistration.

Hi, website is loading very slow when Bridge theme used with minimum plugins. Works fine if changing to default WP2023 theme. On Network tab these 3 file take most of the loading time:
- /wp-content/themes/bridge/css/style_dynamic_responsive_callback.php?ver=6.1.1
- /wp-content/themes/bridge/js/default_dynamic_callback.php?ver=6.1.1
- /wp-content/themes/bridge/css/style_dynamic_callback.php?ver=6.1.1 (<== this one is quite large)
Any idea what could cause this ? Used to work fine. Recently updated theme and all plugins to latest versions.
PS: Elementor PRO, which was previously used to build some UI, had its licence expired and not renewed …

PHP 8.0 Hi - I have a few licenses for the Bridge theme that are hosted on GoDaddy. All are currently running PHP 7.4. When I attempt to switch to 8.0, I get a fatal error.

Hi – sorry for just getting back. I have made sure everything is up to date. I just changed the php to 8.0 and the website has only the menu icon – nothing else. All the other items and content are missing. I have cleared the cache on both the website and firewall with no success.
