NOW TO MAKE MATTERS WORSE – That annoying pop up on the add products page wont go away – IGNORE BUTTON does not work now since update! Not a caching issue….

We now cant add products because of this stupid pop up we have been asking for months to remove. WHY DOES IT HAVE TO BE ON THE PRODUCT PAGES????? FIX ASAP

Thank you for contacting us. I heard you used the full site editing mode. So you can’t use the porto_products shortcode. But don’t worry about that. Porto posts grid widget also provides all functionality as well.

Is there a auto update feature when you put out new updates?

We have One-Click update option of the Theme, Please navigate to Appearance >> Themes and from there you have to click on the update link and it will update the theme for you on your site and then after that you have to update the plugins from Appearance >> Install Plugins.

Yes surely you can, please navigate to Porto >> Template Builder >> Single product and create your own Custom Layouts from there.

Good day, i have been trying to get my shop page to look like this https://www.portotheme.com/wordpress/porto/shop1-soft/shop/ but after installing the demo and trying everything i cannot get the category side bar with Categories and subcategories like this. How can i make my shop page exactly the same?

We recommended, please do not use the visual composer plugin as we have already removed it from the theme and there is no compaitability with it, and addons for the visual composer only needs for the visual composer plugin, so do not use both of them and only use the single page builder that is WP Bakery in your case.

Hi there, it seems a font i want to use which is part of Google fonts which is missing from typography ‘Dongle’. Is there a way to import this perhaps?

To use Custom Google fonts, you would need to download the font files and host them on your own server. Here are the steps you can follow:

Find the font you want to use on the Google Fonts website.

Click on the “Select this font” button, and then click on the “Download” button in the top-right corner of the page.

This will download a ZIP file containing the font files you need.

Upload the font files to your site from Porto >> Theme Options >> Font Control.

And then you will be able to use that font on your site from Porto >> Theme Options >> Skin >> Typography options.

Tthere is a bug on templates builder. It does not show the placeholder image seleced on Woocommerce > Settings > Products > General > Placeholder Image. All products without featured image is showing uo like this: https://pasteboard.co/Ss1jfe3fj8bf.png

No it does not, If you did not set/defined the featured image of the product, it does not show the image then on frontend, and this is how it works, If you want to show the placeholder when there is no featured image set, then please request it as a feature on our forum here: https://www.portotheme.com/forums/topic/feature-request/ so that our dev team will read it and note it down for the future upcoming updates of the theme.

I really believe you are mistaken. This is not a feature. It is a “must to have” behaviour that some lazzy dev forgot to handle. On previous versions of Porto this was working just fine. I belive that you are just much proud to recognize this mistake. All other themes handle it just fine, including riode theme that is made by you. I am to much disapointed right now. I invite other users to test it and post here your comments. Thankyou for nothing.
