Hi – a new client is running a very old version of Enfold – 4.5.3 – and I see that it’s using the old way of using an Envato private token – will that still work?
Also what’s the likelihood of the site breaking after such an update?

I’m afraid it wouldn’t work. Please try using the Envato Market plugin (https://www.envato.com/lp/market-plugin/) and check if you’ll receive the update.
We are making sure updates are backward compatible but to be on the safe side, please create a staging copy of your site and update the theme there.

If that doesn’t work, please start a thread on our support forum at https://kriesi.at/support/forum/enfold#new-post and attach temporary WP admin and FTP logins in private content field so we can look into it.

Are you entering your purchase code in Enfold theme options > Theme Update? If you are, you should insert a Personal Token instead. Please refer to this post https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/#how-to-generate-a-envato-personal-token, generate a Personal Token and insert it in Enfold theme options > Theme Update instead.

Hi, I have an issue with mobile loading of www.dolcemedicina.it. Everything is fine on laptop browser, but on Chrome and Firefox for Android, the website is not loading at all… Please, don’t make me renew the support for this, thanks.
I don’t know how, but the problem is just related to my WiFi… On 5G is perfect. I checked on Mac Terminal, but I did not find any issue. I asked to my provider. Cheers from Italy

You may want to adjust the font sizes for the mobile portrait. To do that you can select your slide, go to Styling > Font Sizes and select the mobile portrait icon (https://i.imgur.com/iGr2RsX.png).

Did you optimize the images you use in your portfolio items? If not, please do so. Also, how many portfolio items are you displaying in your element? Does it make a difference if you choose to display fewer?

yes, images are optimized and lightweight. (it was much faster once and we did not change anything since then on images or portfolios content – so this cant be the reason)
It does not depend on the number of images used in a specific portfolio-element.
It does not depend on the number of portfolio-elements on the page. (Some pages contain 6 portfolioelements, some other pages only one or two).
But the speed is always the same – at least it does not make any recognizable difference

I use a Tab-Section with several tabs. Every tab has a picture. The picture has been added as “no picture style”. I have hundred pages like that. Now i want to change ALL these to “picture style circle”.How can i change that in bulk? (CSS? Database operation? Any other way?)

Hello, i am trying to validate my site for WCAG 2.0 Guidelines and i do not know how to solve this error:
Check 185: id attribute is not unique. Repair: Modify the id attribute value so it is unique. Error Line 501, Column 1:

If i change the name of the id in the body, all the styles goes down. Is there any option to solve this error?

The “top” ID of the body tag is heavily used in Enfold’s stylesheets, this is why changing it would break the styling. It looks like there’s another element with the “top” ID. Please locate it and change its ID instead.

Does your theme features a code where we can show a message “Event ended!” when a certain date/time is reached please? I can see you have a backward counter but no ways to setup a message and an end date. As an event my start today but finish tomorrow, so this message should only show on the end date. Do you have this in your theme please as it is such an important feature for many kind of sales online. Thank you

No, it doesn’t. However, I forwarded your “to display a custom message when the Animated Countdown element reaches the date” request to our developers.
The Events Calendar (https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/) which is compatible with Enfold, displays the “This event has passed.” message on past events. In case that works for you

The only problems with using a calendar is that if you only have 1 event per month and use an extern API like Fienta, you do not need a plugin to power your events, you can just build the blocked yourself. Having all the logic in big calendar plugins is very problematic. Most tech like Fienta come with their own iframes when you click on the event.
Enfold 5.3 is installed. Wordpress 6.2.
Problem: I can’t get it to run above PHP 5.6.
Any ideas?
I solved it. Had to disable the plugins first. Now it’s running on php 8.1.

Enfold’s contact form doesn’t allow uploading files. If you need this feature, we’d recommend you use more advanced form plugins such as Contact Form 7.

The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.
