Hello!
Can this type of header menu be achieved with porto? https://us.ecoflow.com/
For example, if you go to Smart Devices, you have on the left GLACIER, BLADE etc., which changes the content.
Is this doable with Porto?
Hello, @Snupx,
Yes you can achieved your desired result using Porto Header Builder functionality, you can create your own header layout as per your requirements.
Please refer to our theme documentation here: https://www.portotheme.com/wordpress/porto/documentation/?s=header+builder
I am using a development staging hosting. This is a new hosting that I am moving to because I was not able to update the WP implementation with Porto theme.
Everything worked fine with the older settings, but when trying to update, I got many types of issues; after consistent trials, I am able to update WP Core, Woocommerce & some other plugins.
The issues I am now facing is that when I update Porto theme from 4.5 to 6.9.1, the menu would not show selected styles and the main page with mainly used WP Bakery page builder to construct is a mess, nothing in place and every element is spread over the width of the screen.
I updated the plugins that are part of Porto theme using different methods like updating directly or removing then re-install then import setting for the theme, but all tries have not changed anything.
The same implementation with all the updates/upgrades are working somewhere else without any issues, only on this hosting where the problems are.
What could cause this? Is there anything on server that have been missing on the new host to create these issues?
I will have to remove this and restart from the beginning. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks,

hi when i come to the menu i can’t reach to click on the submenu it closes immediately. default theme shop 36
https://ibb.co/JBkSw43hi, How can I add a thumbnail image to the toggle menu?
https://ibb.co/R4d1F9MHello, @drcslm,
You can use/set the FontAwesome icons beside those menu icons as per your requirements, you can copy the icon code from our site: https://www.portotheme.com/wordpress/porto/shortcodes/icons/
And then you can use the code into the Menu item by editing it as shown in this screenshot: https://postimg.cc/VSX0JYFF
This was not what I wanted, but I gave up, I won’t, thank you for your interest.
Hello, @drcslm,
I’m sorry to hear that what I provided wasn’t what you wanted, but I appreciate your feedback. If you have any suggestions for how I can improve or if there’s anything else I can assist you with, please don’t hesitate to let me know. Thank you for considering my offer.
Hello I noticed that when I updated the theme, all my product prices are no longer displaying both on the frontend and even in the WordPress admin area.
Are you guys aware of this or is there something I need to do?
Hello, @tommysyn,
Unfortunately, there is no such issue with our latest update, the issue is on your site only.
Please make sure that you have properly updated the theme and porto-functionality plugin as well.
Also Please try to disable all the third-party plugins on your site except Theme Required/Recommended plugins, and check back your site after clearing the browser cache, might be any additional/extra third party plugins conflicting on your site and creating that issue. If this will resolve your issue then again you have to activate all the third party plugins one by one and check which one is creating the issue on your site, and try to reach out to the Plugin Author for further help on this.
And if the issue will still persists then please remain all the third party plugins deactivated on your site and provide us the permission to debug your site which includes deactivating all the third party plugins and on site Customziation as well. We also request you to please share the site WP Admin URL and Credentials with us as well for further investigating the issue on your site via our support forum.
Note: Please take the complete backup of your site before following the above steps as that might affect your site.
Hi! I have a live shop that was made with Porto theme and WPbakery builder. I would like to refresh/rebuild the shop, but this time with Elementor builder.
What is the easiest/optimal way to move from wpbakery to elementor, given that we are talking about live shop. And that i want to use/import new template.
Thank you
Hello, @igorjup,
Thanks for using our theme and for contacting us.
It is recommended to use only one-page editor on site (WPB or Elementor). Do not edit the same content using both of them, because it may cause conflicts.
You can change the editor, but in this case, you will need to re-create all content, that was created using WPBakery, using Elementor manually. There is no automatic converter, unfortunately.
OR you have to start again from the scratch on a very fresh Wordpress…
When one or more roles are selected in Porto settings to display price, visitor don’t see button anymore and it’s a bug.
Hello, @optimizgroup,
I hope this message finds you well.
Regarding the issue you raised, I understand that the “customer” option to view role prices only displays the prices and “add to cart” button to customers who are logged in, and not to those who are not logged in.
Additionally, the display of the “add to cart” button is dependent on the prices being shown.
I would like to clarify that this option is designed to show prices and the “add to cart” button only to the specific user roles that have been selected. If only the “editor” and “customer” roles are selected, then only those users with those specific roles will be able to see the prices and the “add to cart” button.
Please note that this behavior is not a bug, but rather a deliberate feature built into the theme. If you require any further assistance with this issue, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Hi,
in the demo 24 https://www.portotheme.com/wordpress/porto/shop24/ can i use the shop and carts as download button , same made on: https://indicatorspot.com/ ?Thanks
Hello, @Marwanist,
For the downloadable products, Its the WooCommerce default functionality and you can read more and all about it here: https://woocommerce.com/document/digital-downloadable-product-handling/
Hi,
Can you identify which demo used in this site: https://indicatorspot.com/The site using Porto but not clear for me which demo he used.
Hello, @marwanki,
The site you shared with us, is using the Shop Demo 24: https://www.portotheme.com/wordpress/porto/shop24/
Error on latest update/possible bug: porto notice: curl error 28: ssl connection timeout Also unable to edit theme options > customize this gives a blank screen, reverted back to an older Porto version fixed it.
Hello, @coheed1984,
The error message “curl error 28: ssl connection timeout” indicates that there was a problem establishing a secure SSL connection between the server and the client using cURL.
Here are a few things you can try to resolve this error:
1. Increase the cURL timeout: Sometimes the SSL handshake can take longer than expected, leading to a timeout error. You can try increasing the cURL timeout value to give the SSL handshake more time to complete.
2. Check your SSL certificate: Make sure that your SSL certificate is installed correctly and up-to-date. You can use an SSL checker tool to verify that your SSL certificate is valid and that there are no errors.
3. Check your firewall: It’s possible that your firewall is blocking the SSL connection. Check your firewall settings to make sure that port 443 (the port used for SSL connections) is open.
4. Contact your hosting provider: If none of the above steps work, it’s possible that the issue is with your hosting provider. Contact your hosting provider for assistance with troubleshooting the SSL connection issue.
I hope these tips help you resolve the “curl error 28: ssl connection timeout” error.
And regarding the theme options >> customize gives you the blank screen, we suggest you to please turn ON the debug mode of your site and check what error appears on your site, and share the error screenshot or error with me here, so that I will further investigate it for you and help you out if possible.

Hello, @esaesa,
First of all, thanks for showing your interest in Porto WordPress
Please watch this video I have captured for you: https://streamable.com/k8ml8o
Hope this will clear your thoughts…
I saw the video. And my answer to my quesstion will be, No Now can i disable porto image/color swatches and use other 3rd party plugin which i mentioned in my original comment
Hello, @esaesa,
You can simply change the color/image swatch as the default WooCommerce dropdown for variation selection from the Theme Options.
And regarding the plugin: If you would like to use a third-party plugin to meet your requirements, please note that this is done at your own risk.
Hi,
Since the last update, we no longer have the skin options block (#skin-meta-box) for each page or post on the back office.
Hello, @webprintservices,
Please edit the page and click on the “screen options” and then check yes the “Porto Skin Options”, finally check back to your site after clearing the browser cache.
Please refer to this screenshot: https://postimg.cc/5Yy8N4md
Thank you for your answer, but if we come to ask you that it is because the block has completely disappeared even in the screen option tab here is a screenshot : https://postimg.cc/5X4sWJQj
Hello, @webprintservices,
Then we suggest you to please make sure that you have updated the Theme and Porto Functionality plugin properly.

Hello! I made an update to the Porto theme and the color of the menu in the header and the buttons on the site changed to blue, the original color of the theme. I tried to change this color back to black from the theme settings in “skin”, but the blue color does not appear anywhere so I can change it. Where else could I try to change the color from blue to black? Thank you!
Thanks for the reply. My website is: https://evio.ro/ . There you will be able to see the blue color in the header and on the icons in the sidebar of the product page. I also encountered a problem that you will be able to notice: I checked that the cart icon should be active in the sticky header, but both on mobile and on the desktop when I scroll down the site, the cart disappears from the sticky header . Thank you!
Hello, @ursacescu,
Let me try to explain it to you, when you save any changes from theme options, it rewrite those changes to the porto-styles folder files which are responsible for the site CSS to work. So sometimes because of file permission issue, sometimes server cache issue, sometimes site cache plugins issues, sometimes because of any server restriction issues, sometimes third party plugin confliction issue, that could be any reason from the above ones, the files under porto-styles folder does not update with the new changes from theme options, so that is why in that case, we recommended to delete that folder of porto-styles and then click on save changes button again from the theme options, so that it will create the same new folder with same files again at the same place but with new changes from the theme options.
Hope this make sense now and claer enough.
Otherwise, please contact us via our support forum with your site WP Admin URL and Credentials so that our experts will check and help you out in solving your issue.
OK. I will try right now. Thank you for help!
You’re Most Welcome!!
Why my question is deleted? Even after your reply to it. Well after trying different versions of the theme and different versions of WP, it seems a compatibility issue that stops the whole WP from working.
Any ideas?
This is a local development server and not accessible.
Hello, @SolutionsDev,
Unfortunately, without testing the issue on your site, we are not able to duplicate it as that issue only appears on your site, so we suggest you to please clone your site as a test site on live server and then share the Logins with us via our support forum so that we will be able to check it for you and help you out.

Hi!
I don’t understand very well what this two option do to existing page?
- Refresh templates information (This tool will reset the information about Porto templates used in pages, posts, sidebars, menus, etc.)
- REFRESH TEMPLATES (Refresh Templates’ display conditions This tool will reset the display conditions for all templates.)
I’ve been using porto for 5 years and some things on the site work differently than when i tested on a “fresh” installation. I would like to update the old (porto) site, but installing from scratch is not an option.
Thank you
Hello, @igorjup,
1. The content you created under Porto >> Template builder has been assigned to some sections, and pages on your site, and that option you indicate will refresh the information such as if you change the content of those templates.
2. Same as like point 1, it will refresh the conditions of those templates.
You can duplicate/clone your site as a test site and then apply the update on it, and if everything will go smoothly then you can follow the same on your live site, please refer to our theme documentation on the update here: https://www.portotheme.com/wordpress/porto/documentation/update-theme/
Good day,
I have a question supported porto theme no <!-more->
If I use the tag ”<!-more->” in “Edit category” it doesn’t work, what could be the reason?
I have selected the theme “Twenty Twenty Three”, then unfortunately it does not work either
what’s the difference between the demo shops which are being referred as marketplace and those which none. for marketplace use?
Hello, @projectmano,
A demo shop that is referred to as a “marketplace” typically has features that allow multiple vendors to sell their products on the same platform. In other words, the marketplace acts as an intermediary between buyers and sellers, providing a platform for vendors to showcase their products and for buyers to browse and purchase them.
On the other hand, a demo shop that is not referred to as a “marketplace” may only showcase products from a single vendor or company. It may not have the functionality to allow multiple vendors to sell on the platform.
Well thank you. But I saw in another answear that can works only with manual installation. Which are this settings, if they do, and does shop 36 works for marketplace by default because there is no refference to wcfm or dokan as the shop22
In an older version posts does not have the featured image show in content area, while when updating the theme to the latest it shows the featured image on top of the post.
There does not seem to be a setting to remove/hide it. What is the best way to hide all featured image in the content area, but keeping it in the post archives?
Thanks,
I am sorry that it is a local development server and cannot be shared. This is a standard featured image.
Hello, @SolutionsDev,
Ok, then to remove the featured image of the post from the single post page only, please copy and paste the below given CSS code to Porto >> Theme Options >> Skin >> Custom CSS and check back to your site after clearing the browser cache.
.single-post .post-image.single {
display: none !important;
}
Thanks for the quick reply. I will apply the code and get back to you.
Sure take your time.
This just worked fine. Thanks
You’re Most Welcome!!
