Actually, in the theme options you can hide the author info from the single blog page. But to remove it from the post grid you can use the custom CSS code.
Simply go to the Dashboard >> UDESIGN >> Theme Options >> Custom CSS & JS and then paste the below code at the bottom of the CSS box.
.post-author{display:none !important;}
Then save settings and check back to your site after clearing the browser cache.

Hello, in the demo farm store at the bottom homepage you have 4 columns: fruits/vegetables/meath and nuts. If i create a product all are auto places at vegetables. Cant find any setting how to get them at the right column.. Cat. and tags are set but how does this work?

I purchased the software last summer. Now that we are about to launch I am getting an error message that says that the license key for the Elementor does not match the current domain. I tried the contact the author link and received no reply. I also contacted Envato support – no help there either. I don;t think I should have to pay to renew support for something like this. As a long-term customer that has bought this same software for years I would hope to get some help with this.

Sorry to say that this is not possible with the help of Theme Options as there is no option in the theme for that so this is only possible with the help of customization and we only provide our dedicated support for the issues related to Theme Options. Hope you can understand our limitations.

Actually, There are some specific demos that we created and implement “Learnpress” functionality. But, the plugin “Learnpress” is fully compatible with our theme you can use it on any demo you want. I hope you will never face any issues.

Hello, I am going to update the theme to the latest version but need to first create a test site on a subdomain as it will break my website. Do I need to purchase a second copy of the theme to do this for everything to work?

No need to purchase the new license for test site, You can simply un-register the theme from live site by going to Udesign >> Theme License and then migrate your site to the test site and register the theme with the same purchase code, perform the update and after that follow same steps to re-register the theme on the live site.

One single license is for the one single live URL only, this is Envato policy and with all the themes on the ThemeForest, you may wish to confirm from them as well.
So you can use the single license on Live URL and as well on Local or Test site.

Hi – I have been using this theme for a while, but the client is understandably annoyed that everywhere their site shows up (i.e. search engines), the udesign favicon shows up instead of theirs. I have replaced it in every spot that I can think of, but nothing seems to change (see screenshot – https://tinyurl.com/2poedjf4). How do I fix this for them?

Thanks for your reply. I don’t have access to the support portal anymore. I bought this license last August. The problem wasn’t discovered until after a few months after the site had launched and it only just occurred to me to ask for help (thought maybe there was a known fix). The old version of the UDesign theme was very old compared to the latest themes with the latest technology, features, and coding standards. If we cannot update the theme so it will not work in the future and all of our customer’s sites will be lost. So we make the decision to update it with the latest technology, features, and coding standards we removed the old functionality like shortcodes and we added tons f new features in the theme so that customers don’t need any shortcodes and customization to make the site. Also, I can see that you are not using a page builder plugin to build your site. The latest version of the theme is fully compatible with the Elementor plugin it is the most famous and useable page builder plugin and super easy to use like drag and drop you can use this plugin to build your site using the latest version of the theme. It is my personal opinion for you not to update the theme for now and create a staging site of your current site then update the theme on it after that your site will appear with issues then fix all the issues on the staging site with the latest version and once you have done with it then make it live so that in the future whenever you need to update the theme you will never face any issue again. Otherwise don’t update the theme and use the old version so that your site will appear fine for a period of time. The choice is yours now.
