Hello! Please advise: why after your endless updates of the Porto theme the popup stopped working properly when hovering the mouse over the cart icon – no content display? Hello, @puppeteer3D,
Please try to disable all the third-party plugins on your site except Theme Required/Recommended plugins, and check back your site after clearing the browser cache, might be any additional/extra third-party plugins conflicting on your site and creating that issue. If this will resolve your issue then again you have to activate all the third-party plugins one by one and check which one is creating the issue on your site, and try to reach out to the Plugin Author for further help on this.
And if the issue will still persists then please remain all the third-party plugins deactivated on your site and provide us the permission to debug your site which includes deactivating all the third-party plugins and on-site Customization as well. We also request you to please share the site WP Admin URL and Credentials with us as well for further investigating the issue on your site via our support system.
Note: Please take the complete backup of your site before following the above steps as that might affect your site.

Hi Porto Team, a few days ago you helped me to hide the “Go Top” arrow that appear when you go down with this code: div#topcontrol { display: none !important; } At the time it worked and the arrow no longer appeared. But now it has reappeared. It seems to me that it is due to the update that occurred.
Could you help me please? Thanks in advance and have a good day!
Hello, @fvergara88,
I have just tested your site now and it is working perfectly fine for me, please refer to this screenshot: https://postimg.cc/VS6fsqyj there is no such Go to Top arrow there, it seems to be the cache issue at your end, please clear your site and browser cache and check back again, I am sure you will not face this issue anymore.

Hello Porto, Is it possible with Porto to create a filter of my products? I have set a tag for each product tag. Now I would like a kind of widget appears and the client be able to filter any tag available and all the products of the web be shown. And not only filtering by categories, I need above the entire web.
Thanks.
Hello, @Joaquim_,
Porto WordPress has a sidebar filter named “Product Tag Cloud”, you can use it in sidebar of the Shop Sidebar and it should show all the product tags in the sidebar of the shop page for filtration of the product, please refer to these screenshots: https://postimg.cc/dLLJQKqg & https://postimg.cc/mcc97nNn

Hi Porto,
currently the tag cloud only is displaying “articles” and “chat” but nothing about products. And I have set every product with a product tag. https://candleartesoteric.com/esoteric-candlesAlso is posible to distribute the tags vertically? I think is more easy for the client.
thanks
where should I fill the property for the tag cloud in a product? thanks,
Hello, @Joaquim_,
You have to create the Tags from WP-Dashboard >> Products >> Tags: https://postimg.cc/JGVjynzy
And then edit the product and choose/set the particular tags for that product: https://postimg.cc/2LzbwqbT
And then it will be available for the filtration of the product based on those tags.
And for distributing the tags vertically, please copy and paste the below given CSS code to Porto >> Theme Options >> Skin >> Custom CSS and it will solve your issue.
.tagcloud a.tag-cloud-link {
display: block !important;
}

Hello, I purchased Porto theme few days ago, I used some blocks from the porto studio , then when I started over after two days, the whole porto studio has changed into much much less blocks!!!! and I cannot get back to my previous design. also you HAVE stated that you added 40+ product layouts to v 6.10 , but when I updated I was unable to use 35+ of the new 40+ new products layouts. like all box hover effects all 4 listed effects , and so many others. also , the documentation doesn’t state how to use the stock availability or countdown sale in a list product at any page. would you please help me answering those question? also when the porto studio will be back again ???? we need those blocks. it saves time and they are so so beautiful , this is I bought this theme. I have other clients waiting but it the studio or the 40+ products layout wont work then I wont buy another license for porto.
Hello, @hazemdesignsse,
1. As before, Porto has lots of studio blocks. But there are very untidy, not correct importing with many custom css.
So it was rather uncomfortable and difficult easy to customize. To prevent this, the dev team decided to update all studio blocks, In 6.10.0, we released new studio blocks.
Firstly, we added basic elements(heading or heading effect, countdown, button, container, a few banners, and the other shortcodes) and template builder layout(shop, single product, single layout … ) . And we are going to add studio blocks in an upcoming version.
2. We have added 14+ Single Product Layouts and 40+ Type Builder Layouts in the latest update of the theme.
If you want to choose them you have to create the Custom Single Product Layout and Custom Type Builder then use Porto Studio in it, and those layouts will be available to import.
Porto >> Template Builder >> Single Product: https://postimg.cc/K4WW8Yyt Porto >> Template Builder >> Post Type: https://postimg.cc/FYz1gGBM
Please refer to our theme documentation here: https://www.portotheme.com/wordpress/porto/documentation/custom-product-layout/ and here: https://www.portotheme.com/wordpress/porto/documentation/type-builder-elements/
3. a) In order to use the stock availability simply edit any product you want from there in the product data you can set the stock settings as per your need see the images to understand better: https://postimg.cc/0MB9fwmx and https://postimg.cc/9R3pqxgj
b) Regarding the countdown when you set the price of the products you will be able to set the sale price with a countdown as you can see in the images: https://postimg.cc/RWHGV5GT and https://postimg.cc/MnVbJ0KP

But contents remain same as homepage, while it should be for spinner-rings Also when I enter url into address bar https://www.kanikajewelrytrove.com/wp-admin to login it get back me to the homepage contents. Please tell me solutions
Hello, @KanikaJewelryTrove,
Sorry for the inconvenience but I have tried to check your provided URL and the result is:
1. This URL is showing 404: https://www.kanikajewelrytrove.com/product-category/jewelry/rings/spinner-rings/ https://postimg.cc/yWvTdVxP
2. This URL is working fine: https://www.kanikajewelrytrove.com/wp-admin https://postimg.cc/47nxQbvn
I want to tell you that this issue is independent of our theme, so please try to check by activating the default WordPress Theme, and you will face the same behavior, we suggest you to try to reach out to your hosting provider for further assistance on this matter.
Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:
1. Permalinks: Incorrect permalink settings can lead to issues like the ones you’re experiencing. Go to your WordPress dashboard, navigate to “Settings” -> “Permalinks,” and ensure that the permalink structure is set correctly. You can try changing the permalink structure to “Post name” or any other structure and see if that resolves the issue.
2. Caching: Caching plugins or server-side caching can sometimes cause pages to load improperly. Clear your cache, both in the WordPress dashboard (if you’re using a caching plugin) and on your server.
3. Browser Cache: Your browser might have cached an incorrect version of the page. Clear your browser cache and cookies or try accessing the site using a different browser or incognito/private mode.
4. Database Errors: Database errors can also cause incorrect content to display. It’s a good idea to run a database repair using the “WP-DBManager” plugin or by using the built-in repair tool in your hosting cPanel.
5. .htaccess File: Make sure your .htaccess file is correctly configured. If you’re not sure, you can temporarily rename it to something like ”.htaccess_backup” and let WordPress regenerate a new one by visiting the Permalinks settings page again.
6. Server Configuration: Server misconfigurations can sometimes lead to such issues. Check with your hosting provider to ensure that your server settings are compatible with WordPress and WooCommerce.
7. Redirects: Check if you have any redirection plugins or rules set up that might be causing the unintended redirects. Also, make sure there’s no redirect loop occurring.
8. Update Everything: Ensure that your WordPress core, theme, and plugins are all up to date. Outdated software can sometimes lead to compatibility issues.
We hope this helps.
Regards, P-THEMES.

Hi, Just wondering if the infinite scroll is compatible with caching and whether you use a nonce. I am having an issue with flyingpress caching where infinite scroll breaks after a while, their developers say the issue is with the theme.
Thanks
Hello, @Silentbob90,
Infinite scroll can indeed be compatible with caching systems, but it depends on how the caching is implemented and whether proper considerations have been made to ensure a smooth experience.
Cache Exclusion: Caching plugins should be configured to exclude certain dynamic elements from caching, such as the portion of the page that handles infinite scroll loading. This ensures that users see the most recent content when they scroll.
Cache Invalidation: The cached version of a page should be automatically invalidated (cleared) when new content is added through infinite scroll. This might involve using mechanisms like cache expiration times or cache purging triggers.
Nonces: Nonces are cryptographic tokens that are often used to prevent unauthorized actions. In the context of caching and dynamic content, using nonces can help ensure that the content being loaded through infinite scroll is legitimate and not being fetched from an outdated cache.
AJAX Requests: Infinite scroll often involves making AJAX requests to load additional content. These requests might bypass caching mechanisms or have their own caching settings. Ensuring that AJAX requests are configured appropriately in the context of caching can be important.
Please make sure that you have turned OFF the Skeleton Mode for Shop pages from Porto >> Theme Options >> General.
Please try to turn OFF the options under Porto >> Speed Optimization >> Other Minify and check back again.
Alternatively, Please contact us via our support system with your site WP Admin URL and Credentials so that we will check it for you on your site and help you out.

Hello, using the h2 tag for the entry title isn’t a good idea because when I start creating a blog of course, I will start using H1 what will happen is the it will show the h2 first before the h1.
Hello, @moveemellc,
We have intentionally set those tags to H2 because the Logo tag also has the H1 tag so to avoid duplication of the H1 tag we did this, but if you want to change the Title tag to H1 you can do it using the template builder.
You have to create your own Custom Layouts for the blog page and single posts under the Porto >> Template Builder and then you can use the “Porto Ultimate Heading” element to show the title, use Main Heading as a dynamic Title, and set the Tag as H1, please refer to these screenshots: https://postimg.cc/zyyHLH85 & https://postimg.cc/18B7zTmb
