Hi we’ve had site for a while, using the WPLMS Modern Theme. We are no longer accepting enrolments or registrations but we have and ‘login’ and ‘signup’ tabs on our main menu which do not appear under any of our main set menus in the wordpress backend. My questions is from where in the theme can we turn off and remove those menu tabs permanently as we are being targeted by hackers daily trying to login through there and set up fake accounts. The permanent fix should be done in the wplms_modern child theme – header.php template. If you can post a ticket at https://wplms.ticksy.com, we can do this for you. To disable signups, you can go to WP admin – Settings – general – Anyone can register

Hi, I have a suggestion..Would it be possible to be able to sort questions in manage questions by question tags? I tried clicking it but it doesn’t sort the questions. I will have a large number of question tags and it’ll help to be able to view similar questions based on tags next to each other. Thanks

That’s great that we can do this, I didn’t realise we could so thanks, but it doesn’t really solve my issue. I want to see questions in the grid so I can easily edit them. Additionally, how does the course instructor easily see when students have submitted essay-type questions so they can mark them? I know we can see it per course but what if we have a lot of courses? Edit: Regarding the image you showed, I thought it meant that we could select two tags so that it shows only questions with those two question tags e.g. with biology & essay, it would show only essay-type questions in biology, but this isn’t the case. Is my site wrong?

Yes, I know about the question bank, that’s exactly what I’m talking about. You can sort the questions by question title for example by clicking the arrow. I wanted to be able to sort the questions by question tag so similar questions are grouped together and easy to edit There’s an arrow but it doesn’t function.
Again, the submissions were what I was talking about, there has to be an easier way. What if the instructor has 25+ courses? Surely you don’t expect them to go into each and every course to view submissions? This is so time-consuming and there might not even be a submission. There should be a link to view all quiz submissions for a particular instructor for all their courses.
Also, is there a way to add question marks per question? Some questions are worth one mark, whilst others are worth three marks. It doesn’t make sense to have a global mark scheme in quizzes.
ah, got you, yes this is a nice suggestion. We can make question tags clickable, to show questions from that tag.
So all the quizzes created by the Instructor in all the courses show up in manage quizzes section but I get your point. We can plan for a dashboard widget which would show pending evaluations in the dashboard. Notifications can also be enabled on Quiz submissions.
Yes, marks per question is available by default https://prnt.sc/gt8XomN65uCU , the question marks is a property of the quiz since the questions can be used in multiple quizzes. Likewise, same units can be used in multiple courses, same quizzes / assignments can also be used in multiple courses.

Hello, this is a public issue. Your latest theme/plugins updates have some serious bugs as follows: 1. Theme header is disaligned. 2. Vibebp-grid layout for columns are not working. single course is showing in a row while set as 3 columns in fullwidth. 3. wp-admin dashboard is accessible to all users while it’s enabled for administrator only. 4. Zoom/Jitsi create new meeting error “meeting could not be created.” while it’is showing in zoom-website.

Technically there is no limit to usage, since WPLMS is a HeadLess app it is more secure and scalable than WordPress itself. WPLMS has been used by sites over 1m members.

When it is more stable than Wordpress, why don’t you develop an LMS without Wordpress base?
Not exactly, the system runs on a server so that can be a limiting factor in deciding how many members. But in general since WPLMS is a HeadLess platform it can in itself handle more simultaneous logged in user sessions than WordPress itself. The bottleneck would be WooCommerce and number of orders it can handle simultaneously as that is where we still use WP.
At its core we are still a WordPress Theme + plugin setup. We are working on a parallel nextJS application for this, those interested WPLMS users will be able to seamlessly migrate to it
Thanks for the explanation. I talked to our hosting provider, and they told me, that they already have clients with LMS and several ten thousand learners running well. Hardware should be fine and when you tell me, that your LMS is perfect to handle such an amount, I am lucky to purchase it.

We are creating a Learning Trail, and we have some questions:
- For the user to access the trail courses, does he need to be registered in all courses to be able to attend, or must the courses have the status “Free”?
- When accessing the trail, when we click on a course, the course opens in the same tab. At the end of the course, we are on the course page. The interesting thing would be to go back to the trail page. Is there a way to improve this?
- About the Certificate, at the end of the trail, we have a message that says that the trail was completed successfully, but it does not say that it was conquered. To see the certificate, the user has to go to his profile and click on “LEARNING PATHS” and then on “ACHIEVEMENTS”, but we saw that when accessing the certificate that was linked, it does not load some shortcodes. Is there any configuration to solve this?

So create an app page like : https://docs.wplms.io/administrator-guide/step-by-step-guide-for-administrators/buddypress-single-page and then set it as home page in WP admin – Settings – Reading – Static home page.
p.s : You can set this demo with just VibeBP & WPLMS plugins available in the bundle without the WPLMS theme.

You can create one if it is not present as it is optional. Some of the Elementor demos do not have this page. But we highly recommend setting this page up. You can change all these descriptions from WP admin – Vibebp – Settings – General – Login .

If you say “The plugin is bundled in the package.” What do you mean exactly?
Are you talking about the “WPLMS Package” folder itself or the plugins inside the folder “WPLMS Package”?
If I remember well, the last time I checked there were two plugins inside the folder “WPLMS Package”, WPLMS 3.9.x.x and WPLMS 4.9: Both these plugins did not work for me. I did not see any changes on the theme after installing them.

And at that time, I even tried to follow the instruction in the YouTube video but still nothing works. The video on YouTube is using ASTRA theme as a demonstration and I tried two different themes – did not work still.
Perhaps it’s only for the few selected themes.
The video on YouTube is recommending two plugins: VibeBP and WPLMS but both plugins, even though they are activated successfully but they do not get detected by the 3rd-party themes on the Admin Dashboard.
This may be skipped but BuddyPress plugin is also required without which both plugins wont show up.
So in general here are the steps for 3rd party theme integration, following are the steps :
1. Install BuddyPress, vibeBP. , WPLMS plugin 2. Setup the BuddyPress components in WP admin – settings – BuddyPress – Components, xprofile, activity are required components. 3. Set the BuddyPress template system as VibeBP in WP admin – settings – BuddyPress – options 4. Create 2 menus for the apps, Loggedin , PRofile menu, these menus should use BuddyPress components ( which you need to enable from screen options ) and connect these menus to respective profile and loggedin menu locations. 5. Setup the Single App page, Create a page with page template , Vibe App, add 2 shortcodes in it [vibebp_login],[vibebp_profile] 6. Set this page as App page in WP admin – Vibebp -settigs, also set a client ID in above location. 7. Enable Course directory in App, from WP admin – LMS – Settings 8. Open the App page in 6. and start creating courses. 9. Create a Course layout in WP admin – Vibebp – Course layouts [ see video ] 10. Create a member profile layout ( public profile ) in WP admin – Vibebp – profile layouts [ see video ]

I’m contacting you to report a bug with the WP-ShortCode plugin. When the WP-ShortCode plugin is active, it creates a bug in the characters. For example, the magnifying glass does not appear and is replaced by a rectangle. For the moment, it doesnt work, I downloaded : WPLMS 4.920 on themeforest.
Download the compelte package and you can locate the plugins folder in the package and you will see wplms_plugin.zip that you can install to overwrite your current plugin.
ok, but when I unzip wplms_plugin.zip I just see these folders and I dont know what I have to do with these : assets – includes – languages – sampledata – .DS_Store – changelog.txt – index.html – loader.php I dont see Vibe Shortcodes

You have to change the WP admin – Vibebp – Settings – Client ID to any random string and save. This would log you out when you visit the app page. Then re-login the issue should be resolved.

I changed it, it still doesn’t work, I logged out, it doesn’t work, I resaved login details, but it still doesn’t work. Plus I had another question regarding usernames. I just cannot seem to find how to add the username field. I managed to add ‘age’ but there is no username option. Thanks
