Hi, in product tabs i only want to show Additional information ONLY, not product description, no custom tabs, no global product custom tab. All i need is additional information about the product.
Hello, @Organd,
In order to remove the tabs on the single product page, please read and follow the instructions written in our theme documentation here: https://www.portotheme.com/wordpress/porto/documentation/how-to-edit-remove-rename-and-reorder-product-data-tabs/

Yes, i love Porto
Thank you.
Hello, my support period has already expired, but with this latest update, while logging into the site, I see messages on the pages: “build with header builder,” “build with footer builder.” Is there a way to turn this off? These warnings are not shown externally. Example: https://prnt.sc/ne_hIRqEfe55
Hello, @gribilge,
Buttons are exclusively displayed for roles capable of constructing the page beyond the ‘editor’ role.
If you truly need to deactivate the button, you can utilize the theme options in version 7.1.1 to do so. We will release the 7.1.1 version soon.
Thanks for your understanding.

Hi, How can i make a special banner for every category, for example: i have created a page named Categories sorts all categories only, and for example when user click on a category “Hyundai” that go to shop page that sort all Hyundai models only. Now i want to add a special banner in top of this category “Hyundai” page only, And the same with “Ford”, and all other categories..
Hello, @Organd,
Please navigate to Porto >> Template Builder >> Product Archives and create the new template from there: https://pasteboard.co/xByWcgs0lCCM.png After that edit it with page builder and use the “Type Builder Archive” element, and set it as per your requirements: https://pasteboard.co/z6KTzh8gYiH9.png
Then you can set any banner or content on that template as well by using any element: https://pasteboard.co/MCmkj4zJhfDS.png
Finally set the condition to show/work that template on the particular category: https://pasteboard.co/zYLNiKcdh9H5.png & https://pasteboard.co/g3IEUxAgbZoT.png
It should work accordingly: https://pasteboard.co/gIbdjAMSgrQT.png
For Elementor, please follow the same steps.

Hello, if I go to Theme Options > WooCommerce > Product Archives, it doesn’t show the “show more options” button. How can I make it visible?
Hello, @am-linkweb,
We have removed those “show more options” button in our latest version of the theme, because we already added those options in the widgets/elements that we used in our theme. So you can easily modify it with page builder.

I have installed Porto theme, demo shop-6 and the 3D model viewer plugin, but the 3D model viewer is not showing on the product page. It is showing on the Twenty Twenty theme. What can I do to show the 3D model viewer on the product page?
Hello, @mmoonbd,
The 3D model viewer plugin is a third-party addition and isn’t listed among the compatible plugins confirmed on the item’s main page. This could potentially be the source of conflict. However, we’d like to investigate further on your site to confirm. Please reach out to us via our support system, providing your site’s WP Admin URL and Credentials. We’ll gladly assist you and offer any possible solutions.

Question, is there anyway to add a e-mail captcha eller liknande. Mailen spammar if that not is included?
Hello, @Mrnicoo,
Our theme doesn’t include this feature by default, and it’s not directly associated with our theme. It’s part of the standard functionality provided by WooCommerce and WordPress. To achieve this, you may want to consider using a third-party plugin that aligns better with your needs, such as the one available at: https://wordpress.org/plugins/google-captcha/

Hi, thanks for your reply. and how can I add a sidebar to a specific category?
Hello, @dennygoosensen,
To customize sidebars for specific categories, you’ll need to generate distinct layouts for each category.
Here’s how:
1. Go to your Dashboard, then navigate to Porto, Template Builder, and select Product Archive.
2. Create a new layout by following this link: https://postimg.cc/V5tsS0ky .
3. Once the editor opens, simply add the sidebar widget into the editor, as shown here: https://postimg.cc/rzyXTdRC .
4. Choose the sidebar you desire.
5. Customize the content as needed, then save the settings.
6. Apply this layout to the particular category using conditions, as shown here: https://postimg.cc/NKKHL7L6 .
This setup will allow the specified sidebar to appear on the desired category.

Hello, @Organd,
You need to convert/translate it into the language files for the theme; you can utilize the Loco Translate plugin for this task.
Please use the Loco translate plugin on your site. After installing the plugin please Navigate to Loco >> Themes >> Porto >> Edit the translation which you are using for the site >> Click the Sync button >> Find the words and add the translation for them and save it.
Also, please Navigate to Loco >> Plugins >> Woocommerce >> Edit the translation which you are using for the site >> Click the Sync button >> Find the words and add the translation for them and save it.
Also, please Navigate to Loco >> Plugins >> Porto-functionality >> Edit the translation which you are using for the site >> Click the Sync button >> Find the words and add the translation for them and save it.
https://wordpress.org/plugins/loco-translate/
Note:
1. Custom (recommended)
2. This is Loco's protected folder under "wp-content/languages/loco/" which is safe from automatic updates and provides priority over the above locations.
https://localise.biz/wordpress/plugin/manual/msginit?utm_medium=plugin&utm_campaign=wp&utm_source=admin&utm_content=plugin-msginit#order
If this folder doesn’t exist you may need to create it and ensure it has the correct permissions.

Hello! Please guide me on how to improve the product thumbnail image quality, I find it very blurry, this affects my customers.
Here is the photo it shows: https://ibb.co/9Tf1Y8j
Thank you!
Hello, @alexpeterlong,
We recommend a minimum size of 800×800 pixels, width and height. This renders well for the main/featured image, catalog image and thumbnail image. Images that are larger are even better, especially if you’re selling items with great detail.
Please can you work through the below support guide and see if any of the suggestions provided there help resolve the issue you are facing: https://woocommerce.com/document/fixing-blurry-product-images/

Hello, I would like to know if the long description can be separated from the Additional information tab.
I tried with the hook they have integrated but now I have 2 long descriptions, haha.
Hello, @mca200189,
If you’ve attempted using the hook and successfully obtained your desired outcome, but find that it’s displaying two lengthy descriptions, you can attempt hiding one through Custom CSS. If you encounter difficulties, please provide screenshots of both long descriptions along with the page URL, and I’ll assist you further.

Hi, does your theme has “upcoming sale countdown” timer?
Hello, @marko_spic,
The built-in functionality of the Porto WordPress Theme allows you to enable this feature. To do so, navigate to your WordPress Dashboard, then go to Products. From there, you can edit each product individually. After editing a product, navigate to Product Data > General, where you can set the sale price and schedule it. For reference, please see this screenshot: https://pasteboard.co/G0PkXvo1y66H.png
Regards, P-THEMES.

I know for that feature. I want to know is it possible to show “upcoming sale countdown.” This feature that you wrote about is showed only when sale is activated. So, one more time – key word is “upcoming timer” (counting days/hours.. until the sale is active.)
Hello, @marko_spic,
If you choose not to put your products on sale, the default sales countdown timer won’t function since it’s directly tied to that action.
Else, you can use the Custom Layout for the single products and set the “Countdown element” as per your requirements.
Navigate to Porto >> Template Builder >> Single Product.
Create/Edit the Custom Single Product Layout.
Use the element as per your requirements.
Please refer to these screenshots: https://pasteboard.co/QIWnUcStZ46p.png & https://pasteboard.co/IrAYNQwyOmJY.png
OR you can try with some third party plugins as well that better suits your requirements, like: https://yithemes.com/themes/plugins/yith-woocommerce-product-countdown/

When we entered sale period, our site started crashing. It was confict between plugin and theme. So, it would be great if i could turn of “sale” on Porto. Can you assist on that?
Hello, @marko_spic,
In our theme, you can set the sale price by editing the product, as I elaborated in detail here: https://themeforest.net/comments/30636780 . If you’ve already removed this feature, our theme doesn’t offer alternative sale functionality. Customizing code may be necessary, and if you’re interested in our paid customization services, please fill out the form here: https://www.portotheme.com/customization/
Thank you for your understanding.

I would like to use a different graphic for the scrolling “intro-svg” on the homepage. Where in the CSS can I edit what image is called for that class? Thank you!

Thank you for the quick reply!
For example, on the homepage of https://www.portotheme.com/wordpress/porto/business-consulting3/
There is the scrolling divider just below the main hero image. I’ve been able to identify that it is a file named intro.svg and called to action through applying a CSS of “intro-svg” but cannot find where to edit that CSS to have it utilize a different image instead (I wanted to change the colors of it by uploading a new .svg file – but it appears the file the CSS calls is being hosted locally on porto’s server instead of my client’s?)
Please let me know if that isn’t clear
Hello, @SR20DETg20girl,
Thank you for sharing the specifics of your concern. The animation you mentioned is configured through Custom CSS. Upon importing the demo, you’ll locate the Custom CSS within Porto >> Theme Options >> Skin >> Custom CSS.
To alter the image, navigate to the section settings. Changing the image there will update the animation background. For visual guidance, please consult this screenshot: https://pasteboard.co/vnj9B4RhS7o9.png

Thank you! That’s helpful, but still doesn’t answer my question of how I can change the image that is called through the function – the code in the Custom CSS section only specifies how to display/handle the image.
Here is what I am seeing in the code: https://pasteboard.co/iBxFulbsyCJE.png
It is calling a specific “intro.svg” image from the portotheme.com server – how can I change the image itself that is used by the CSS/function?
(I’d also like to be able to change it so that the image is hosted on my own server, rather than be dependent on an external source)
Hello, @SR20DETg20girl,
Allow me to clarify: The custom SVG is currently positioned within the initial section of the page. To modify or substitute it, you can conveniently do so by editing the page through the page builder plugin. Once you access the editor, navigate to the style settings tab of the first section. For a clearer understanding, refer to this screenshot: https://postimg.cc/7f9vqmpx. After altering or replacing the SVG, save the settings and revisit your site after clearing the browser cache.

Why there is not simply an options in theme options panel for just DISABLE Popup widow and also Top header, Instead of go to builder and edit or unpublish these options?
Hello, @Organd,
It is because of the Full Site editing mode. This is our theme main feature that allow you to customize the theme/site without boundaries of limited options. Please refer to this article to understand more about this feature: https://www.portotheme.com/forums/topic/unleashing-creative-freedom-with-porto-themes-full-site-editing-demos/
It is very easy to use.

I am now working on localhost for development, can i give you my AnyDesk IP?
Ok, now i did inspect the site and found the problem, its about “margin-left: 10px;” in “element.style”, if i Un-checked it the problem resolved, Now how to apply this in the whole site? https://pasteboard.co/ad7fb6IJAW60.png
Hello, @Organd,,
If the margin is being set directly from the element, you should edit the element to remove it. Alternatively, if you need to override the margin using Custom CSS, you can do so by following these steps:
Copy the provided CSS code.
Navigate to Porto >> Theme Options >> Skin >> Custom CSS.
Paste the copied CSS code into the Custom CSS field.
After completing these steps, remember to clear your browser cache and then check your site to see if the issue has been resolved. Here's the CSS code to be used:
.porto-sicon-box .porto-sicon-top .porto-icon {
margin-left: 0px !important;
}
This code will override any existing margin-left property applied to elements with the specified classes.

Hi, for my WooCommerce store I want a image gallery per variation. I tried multiple plugins (free and premium) but they made the website very slow. Do you recommend one that works well with your theme?
Hello, @dennygoosensen,
In essence, WooCommerce plugin manages variation images by default, permitting only one image per variation. Unfortunately, neither the theme nor the WooCommerce plugin settings support adding multiple images as a gallery for variations. Exploring third-party plugins from the WordPress market that meet your needs is advisable, though we refrain from recommending specific ones to avoid potential conflicts and unexpected site issues for our customers.
