Hi there we love Avada, have been using it for years and have multiple licenses.
However, we’ve been waiting forever for it to be properly SEO optimized and are tired of having to go into the theme to alter the code. Is Avada ever going to get this theme properly optimized?
One example of many, the use of heading tags and this is as basic as it gets…. for example, you have the title of a widget set to H4, why?

Thank you for using Avada and your feedback, however I believe there is some misunderstanding here, Avada is 100% SEO ready since time now, you have the complete and full authority over any of your content and how its created specially after the layout builder was released, regarding the widgets they are now considered legacy as you can read in our documents and you can simply replace them with elements => https://avada.com/documentation/widgets-vs-widget-areas/
There should be no SEO specific issue with Avada, if you are facing any, we suggest you connect with our support team further.

A website I now maintain is using Avada 5.6.2. When I try to update the theme it breaks the site. How can I update the theme to the latest version without breaking the site? Thanks.

Hello and thank you for your quick reply. I was able to update Avada to 5.9.1 but then the next jump was to the latest version. When I did that, it broke the site again.

Hi dear! Has anyone found problems after updating to the last version of Avada? Site reports fatal error because of Avada builder that cannot be activaded. I was forced to restore a backup with the previous version of Avada

There should be no such error or issue happening at all on your end, this could be due to some other 3rd party which is conflicting with the installation process or plugin(s), our team will need to take a closer look into this further.

What would cause container visibility settings to not function on specific pages? We set a container for mobile and large/medium, but they both show up in all viewports.

They could be disabled if you ran the Performance Wizard and weren’t using those elements in the past (Unused elements are disabled by the wizard for performance reasons).

Hi -I have 20+ licenses but support expired and this is more a feature question. We want a sliding carousel on page like the blog one, but instead it pulls from certain pages not blogs. Is this possible? I imagine not as no way to filter what pages it pulls from like categories. Work around is image carousel with links to pages maybe? Thanks

Post cards will work with posts, products, portfolio posts etc but not with Pages, I’m afraid. You can indeed use an Image Carousel and link to pages from there.

Hi,
I am having some issues with resetting my license on a new project. I had initially registered the license using a staging URL and the process was not importing the template pages as it ought.
So, I cleared the entire database to start afresh and reinstalled WordPress anew in order for me to do a complete Website Template import, but the license is showing me UNREGISTERED: the same URL nothing changed. I tried to reenter the Purchase-code again it showed error that the code is already registered on another domain, but it is still the same URL. For days now I have been trying to access https://my.avada.com/ with no success as the page or the site is not opening.
What do I do to resolve this issue please? That is why I am here.

You can manage your license from my.avada.com You can unregister the site via the Avada support account and then re-register it via the regular registration method in the site. In order to unregister a code from a site, you need to log into your support account at https://my.avada.com/ Once you are logged in, please click on the “Licenses” link, Screenshot here → https://prnt.sc/s8HbaJX4Z8ge Here you will see an option to unregister any purchase code added to a site, Screenshot here → https://prnt.sc/2ay1ZV4xihxh Once unregistered, the purchase code can be used once again

That is what I am telling you here that I can’t access the https://my.avada.com/ page to login to unregister the domain or create ticket to complain about this issue.

Kindly make sure that you have completely removed the license from older sites, means you have unregistered it, once that is done, then you will need to actually reset it from your my.avada.com dashboard.

If the license is free and is not used anywhere else, you can certainly use it on any domain without any issues, only 1 live domain can use a single purchase code so if you are already using it on some other domain, that will require you to purchase a new license.

This is possible if you create a separate layout using our layout builder, the default category pages are not editable by WordPress on its own, also the avada.com is our company site and is not a prebuilt so importing that is not going to be an option.

I have an existing woocommerce site that is already working but I’m planning to change the theme to yours. Is that possible without breaking the website when importing. I want to use one of your prebuild theme.
It has a lot of products already (by the way, they’re square shaped images but I saw in your demos that they use rectangle photos, Is that a problem?)

Avada also uses WooCommerce so there will simply be no issues showing those products with Avada, also you can always have your own layout and design for products by using post cards, so there are indeed further possibilities than what you currently get with WooCommerce.
