1. How can I ensure all modules in a row have the same height? I’ve set the excerpt length to a specific number, but the output varies across modules—one displays three sentences while another shows four. Is there a way to define the number of lines instead of character length? Alternatively, is there another approach to maintain consistent module sizes?
2. In the flex loop filters, after selecting a category, the URL changes to this format: https:// site. com/?tdb_tax_categories=cat1. How can I remove “tdb_tax_” from the URL? I’m using “categories” as the taxonomy key in ACF, so where is “tdb_tax_” coming from?
3. I’ve added the Module Review Overall component to a page and set the source to Author Review. However, how can I submit a review for a post? I don’t see an option to add new reviews in the ‘Reviews’ section, and there are no options for adding reviews when creating a new post. How do authors submit their reviews?
4. I created a custom post type using ACF and linked categories to that post type. However, when I attempt to add a new post, I can’t see the specific categories I created for that post type; instead, I only see the default post type categories. I can assign categories through the quick edit option, but why is this happening?
5. This issue may be related to the previous one (4). How can I display a list of categories for custom post types in the header menu? I’d like the menu to show all the categories for custom post types when someone hovers over the categories.
6. When using numbered pagination, the links looks like this – /?tdb-loop-page=2 How to remove tdb-loop-page and make it simple /page=2

There are a few directory/listing type demos, which can be customized and adapted for other purposes. Everything is customizable, from the design, to the post type and taxonomies, to the custom fields. Usually it is easier to with installing a demo and then customizing it, than building the website from scratch. A theme license is for a single website https://themeforest.net/licenses/terms/regular It can be used on a testing/staging website as well. So a main website and a testing website. But two main websites will require two license keys, one for each. Does Newspaper have any animations for images, blocks etc similar to what Elementor provides? Fade in, Fade out, Roll in, Roll out, Shake that type of stuff.

That should not happen. The automatic update should update the theme and all the theme plugins that were active at the time of updating. But there must be something wrong if the update process doesn’t work correctly, every time you use it. You could update the theme manually instead, through wordpress or using a file manager. We could also take a look around the website, check the error logs, etc. If you want us to do that, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide a link to the website, admin login, also access to cPanel or something similar if possible. We will try to find out why there are issues with the automatic update.

That is possible. I believe some time ago you moved the sidebar to the left. That button can have a purpose. You could create a listing ticket reservation link using a custom field, and add it to the listing submission page https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_cali_sight_pro/calisight-post-your-listing/ The visitor/subscriber fills out the field, and then you can set that link on the button. So when someone clicks on the button they will be directed to the website where the reservations can be made. Or it could have other purposes if you want it to work in a different way. That doesn’t seem to work. I’m referring to the “Theme Background” located in Theme Panel > Background.
Think I figured it out via css. Just canceled out the transition call to .td-backstretch.
I see. Then it could indeed be cancelled with some CSS. If you found a solution and it works, then you could use that. A specific setting for that background transition doesn’t exist unfortunately. I love this theme…haven’t purchased yet, but have a question. What kind of a process is it to change back and forth between different demo versions? Is it complicated, or time intensive? Is there a lot of “re-programming”?

Thank you for considering our theme. It takes a few minutes to install a demo, or switch to a different one. A demo can be installed with demo content or without. Installing it with demo content is useful when the website does not yet have content of its own. If you install a new demo after you already installed a demo, the install process will remove everything the previous demo imported. 1. That isn’t possible unfortunately. The views are available only for posts.
2. The Litespeed cache plugin is used by many of our users. If you want to use it, please do so. In case there are problems, it’s usually just a matter of tuning the settings from the plugin. But that can happen with other caching/optimization plugins as well. Overall the Litespeed plugin should work fine with the theme.

The quality of code in Tagdiv newspaper has deteriorated drastically. Some of the recent codes are very open-ended and unoptimised, and it is hitting server resources.
For example,
“SELECT * FROM tds_plans”; 26.44 seconds
Similarly, when the filter is set to display the most popular post in the last 7 days (non-Jet Pack option), the poorly written code takes 13 seconds to execute.
I have found 11 such instances (queries) where each query takes more than 10 seconds to execute; it’s all because it’s not coded in an optimized manner.
All this started after Tagdiv added News Subscription models and many other news ones.
