Is Uncode ADA Compliant, or does it have plans to be, or is it constantly progressing towards more accessibility?
Hello! Regarding the ADA, we haven’t actively promoted it as a feature of our theme, for similar reasons to those mentioned here below regarding the WCAG compliance.
As for the WCAG, the deadline is June 2025, and it’s something mandatory only for certain types of websites, specifically those with a particular annual turnover. In short, it is not something that affects every site. We’ve decided to take a “wait and see” approach, as it’s likely that there will be plugins available by then that can automate most of the compliance process.
Given these circumstances, we’re currently not emphasizing ADA compliance as a built-in feature of our theme either. However, we’re keeping an eye on developments and will ensure to adapt accordingly as we get closer to the deadline.

Hello. I ran into a problem with youtube embeds.
I tried to update my media gallery with new youtube links and when I add the media poster the embedded player doesn’t open and it shows an error (without the media poster the embed works).
The older youtube embeds still open with no problem.

In your screencapture you hover over the video and the thumbnail plays, it does the same on my devices, but did you try clicking on the fourth video and opening the link?

Apologies for the misunderstanding. It seems that the issue isn’t related to the poster but rather to the video URL itself. When I checked the code, I noticed the following URL: https://www.youtube.com/embed/?si=HsAD77Qz5OHE7wrL, which doesn’t actually point to any working video. Can you confirm this? It’s possible that the wrong video URL was copied. Could you please provide the correct YouTube page URL from which the video is taken?
Ok! Problem solved! I was copying the youtube url from the youtube app on ipad and it wasn’t working.
When I opened the same video in the safari browser, the youtube url was suddenly different and it works now!

Hi, i’ve been a customer of this theme for years and its by far the most versatile wordpress theme out there. I really love the video autoplay feature you employed on the portfolio video shots page for example and have been trying it with my website. Unfortunately all of these vimeo videos are taking so long to load compared to Youtube videos. I prefer the cleaner look of the vimeo as I can’t hide the youtube branding. Is there a way to make the page load faster? For instance lazy loading or loading a thumbnail / poster image before the autoplay video loads?? Thank you.
Hi Romashka88! Sorry but as you denote by seeing the difference between Vimeo and YouTube uploads this is something that does not happen in the theme. When you do an embed, only an iframe is hooked, which is built directly by the service provider, and the loading time is only required for the transfer of data from the Vimeo servers. The only ones you can have control over, if you have a good server, are the self-hosted videos.
Will the page load faster if I go for the autoplay on hover function or will the load speed be similar? Is there any way to remove the youtube branding when loading?

No you cannot hide the YouTube brand, this is impossible in Uncode, in any other themes and even on simple HTML page, they don’t permit this… by the way, brand recognition is what they ask for the free service offered.
The loop videos i am using are short and small file sizes but vimeo is just painfully slow. So there is no way to have a poster image load first and then the video will play on hover? Will this make the page at least load quickly instead of it loading when the vimeo videos load?

Yes, I think it will be faster, try to start with a few videos, of course, if you have dozens of videos on the same page, you must also have a good server, because as already mentioned it is only a download thing. I think by now we have explained in every way that we can help with possible issues that are replicable across multiple installations or at least just our own. Please open a ticket, enter all your logins and with that permission to deactivate all possible extra plugins and all possible customisations, this is necessary for full debugging.

Hi there, Looks like there is a bug on the WP Bakery Page Builder on Safari browser. The whole editor is aligned in the sidebar (and there is no way to get it back in the main area). It happens on multiple website. Updating WP, the plugins and themes seems to not help.

Hi, on this site https://www.prolococornatedadda.it/ I use the Posts block with Grid layout.
As you can see the images are very blurry, because the block chooses a very small format of the featured image.
Yet in the Post Elements > Media section I chose the Original format.

Dear undsgn, I am using uncode’s Portfolio Agency theme and I have 2 issues: 1. is there a way to add/hide icons on the share element of the theme? 2. I am using the secondary feature image that gives a nice effect on mouse-over on pictures on desktops, but I want to remove that on mobiles (as you need to double tap). Is there a way of doing this? It’s not possible to add new icons to the share element since every social has its own rules for sharing, if you are using the dynamic custom layouts build, you can replace this with a dedicated plugin. Is there a possibility to customise how the “Protected” pages look? (i.e when a Post or Page is protected and you need to enter the password for access for that page or post).
If so, how is it done? It’s not clear in the Theme Options or any of your documentation.

I’m having an issue with my client website : https://pepinieredeslattes.fr/boutique/ We are in the testing phase of order validation, and every time when clicking on “Place Order,” the button loads via AJAX, but nothing happens for several minutes before a WP/Woocommerce message appears, indicating a problem with the order. Sometimes, it even results in a 500 error.
In the Woocommerce database, the order is recorded correctly, but on the frontend, it bugs out and no order confirmation message is displayed to the customer.
I have tried deactivating all the plugins, switched to the default theme, but the issue remains the same… I also tried a new htaccess file, read the Wordpress logs, but nothing shows up.
I also have a similar issue when changing the status of an order to “Cancelled,” as it takes a long time to load before throwing a 500 error. However, when I go back to the admin panel, the order is correctly marked as “Cancelled.”
Could you help me with this issue, please? Thank you in advance.

500 Error is by Google definition a server error, but it’s not something we can debug from here without complete server logins. If you have an odd issue with the checkout, and no other users are reporting something similar this is something that our developers need to check in detail. Also, correct me if I am wrong, but I don’t think this error was present when you created the site, so this assumes that something has changed at server/setup level. Hi Matbc! We are sorry but from here it’s basically impossible to help without a check to your website or accessing the installation. If you say that it no longer works now I would say that your server has changed settings or there is something strange. After all, it seems to have worked before and a theme certainly does not break on its own. Do you have the pages in the admin? Maybe you inserted them in the WordPress Trash?
Yes I did put all the demo pages, content blocks and posts that I didn’t need it in the WP trash. I realized that maybe I made a mistake so I restored them all…

Yes but the posts and the portfolios are missing inside the pages. It says “nothing found”. The same happen when I start a new page and I add a blog wireframe, it says “nothing found”. See here

Hi b_things! It is normal for a modern WordPress installation to create responsive image crops, the whole Srcset system of modern browsers works like this. These images can also be created when you request a crop, if for instance, you set a different ratio in the settings than the original. In any case, you have something that weighs down your server and above all creates webp.
We advise all users to use the Dynamic Srcset settings and nobody has any problems. If this were an Uncode issue here you would read hundreds of similar messages but this is not the case.

Hello, thanks for replying. I am using the latest version of the theme. The issue is that I have DISABLED this option and the thumbnails are still being generated. I understand this is not a generic issue, but as you may know, site-specific issues are often the case. I have the theme purchase code, however I don’t have the email/ username since it was purchased and installed by a previous developer who is no longer in business. I would appreciate your assistance, thank you!
Hi b_things! As told even if you disable this option some images are generated if you ask the theme from cropped ratios. Unfortunately, if you think it is an issue, there are no other reports, which is why you have to open a ticket so that the developers can see the problem in detail.
As I told you, these options are disabled and I’m still having these issues. I have temporary disabled the regenerate_srcset_async filter manually and still have this images generating new variations dynamically. Is it possible to check this without the username? I have the purchase key and the theme is activated.
This causes missing images and my website gets down. So it’s quite urgent.
Hi b_things! As already told, if you have an odd issue that no other users are reporting you need to open a ticket. Just contact Envato and retrieve your data. There is nothing we can do from there, these are Envato’s rules for support. Unfortunately, there are also pirated versions of popular themes sold with a license attached (we are not saying this is the case, but that is why there are these constraints, we think you can understand).
