Hello!

I bought the Bridge theme years ago, it’s beautiful and it’s working great. I’m really satisfied! Recently I installed The Events Calendar plugin, which I read is compatible. But for some reason I’m running into trouble.. The single events page does not load properly. Only when I deactivate the Bridge core plugin, the single events page loads correctly. Replacing the Bridge core plugin with the latest version (3.3.2), did not solve it.. Any ideas how this can be fixed?

Hi, I’m using the Social Icons shortcode. I’m trying to update the old Twitter icon to the new X branding. How can I do this? I don’t see an icon for X. I tried using the Font Awesome code for X (fa-x-twitter) but that doesn’t seem to work.

I am experiencing significant delays with support for the Bridge theme. It has been 2 days since I submitted my ticket, and I have not received a response yet. I am having issues importing the demo content. Despite following the documentation and attempting the XML import, the site does not look like the demo, and I keep getting the error: “Sorry, no posts matched your criteria.” This issue is blocking the progress of my project, and the current support system is excessively slow. Is a theme deregistered if it has been deleted and/or theme has been removed from domain?

The theme needs to be deregistered in Bridge Dashboard prior to deleting the domain or removing the theme from it. However, if this step is missed, you can deregister your purchase code via deregistration form at our Help Center by following instructions from this article.

Hello, Do you have a database of websites registered to this theme? I’m trying to use this theme and it doesn’t work because it’s registered on a site I made, probably for a client but I don’t know which one and it could be deleted. Can you tell me the domain name registered to my license for this theme? Thanks.

I just wanted to translate the calendar, because I noticed that when the Bridge Core is active the calendar becomes English, if I deactivate it it returns to my language, Italian. I tried with Poedit and Loco, but it doesn’t work

Searching through the comments, I’ve seen that this same thing has been happening for 2 years.

This is because WooCommerce plugin is frequently updated. As you may know, WooCommerce releases new versions of the plugin every few weeks. This means that some of the template files we use in our theme might show up for you as outdated. We do update all the template files when we release new versions of the theme.

Note that most of the WooCommerce updates do not change anything critical, so it should not have an impact on the theme’s functionality. You can go through the Checkout process to make sure everything is working fine. If everything appears normal, and in most cases, it will, you can feel free to ignore the ‘out of date’ warning.

i have updated my theme to the latest version, and updated all of my bridge core plug ins .. what im experiencing is that on the blog page, and contact page the mouse scrolling is very slow ,,, like almost stuck ,,, i have backed it up to bring it back to a previous version and it goes away .. Than within 24hrs the mouse scroll option is slow on only two pages ,, i dont know if its a plug in or what it is i cleared my cache and worked with the server support ..i updated the theme updated all of the plug in’s everything looks right ... its almost like a glitch or something .. its the first time its ever happened to me … is there a away to adjust the mouse setting so its not stuck on two pages or plug in ??

The conflict with Smooth Scroll has been resolved in a recent update. It’s possible that your theme wasn’t updated correctly. Please ensure that you’ve updated your theme to the version: Bridge 30.8.3, along with all bundled plugins. Check our change log. You can also try to disable Smooth Scroll in Qode Options>General.

The caching plugins may cause issues, and the changes made during the update might not take effect due to caching. Please try deactivating any caching plugins you are using and check your pages again.

Is the ” Bridge-child.zip nov 20 2024 at 10.29am 550kb zip archive ” is that the child theme file i upload to the parent theme.. which file do i need to update my site if im using a child theme i use the bridge child uploaded to the parent theme correct.. im asking in the zip file bundle what does the file look like that i need to use .. im pretty sure i have to use the bridge-child zip onto the parent theme …is that correct if my site using the child theme

or use the bridge child in to the parent theme or does it update automatically i dont understand .. i dont feel that people should have to update there website automatically threw c panel .. it should be built it to the bridge core plug in the new version of the site

Use the bridge.zip file to update the theme. Unzip the file and replace the existing parent theme folder in wp-content/themes/bridge. The child theme is not supposed to be updated. After theme update you should update Bridge Core and all bundled plugins. Please check the following tutorial on how to update Bridge and bundled plugins.

i am going to update the bridge theme. when accessing the file

i need it to be the child theme file

when i go to the  " file folder "  is this the new  "child theme" ?

when installing the child theme i only update it to the “parent theme” when installing it is that correct ??? i dont want to override certain customizations

The child theme is not supposed to be updated. You only need to update main Bridge theme. Child themes are intended for keeping your code snippets safe from theme updates. This is where you can add your custom code and safely update main Bridge theme.

Hey there, I have 2 purchase codes for Bridge and i’m fairly certain both websites are no longer required but i need to check and then deregister my purchase codes to use elsewhere.

I’ve tried using your deregister tool but of course i need to now the actual domain but i have no idea which one of hundreds of websites I’ve built over years they’re registered to. Can you please help me identify which domain names are associated with the my Purchase codes? I’ve set up an account and tried your support form but the purchase codes have ling since expired so I can’t contact you on there. Do you have an email I can send them to so that you can look into it?

Aah that’s great! It worked! Thank you. Ok so for one of my purchase codes it’s on an old dev site which has since been deleted so i can no longer go in and deregister it. Are you able to free it up for me if i send you the domain?

Just noticed that it is stuck in Bridge 30.4.1. In appearance, there is no update available though :/

Wasn’t there an option to use a YouTube video as a background in a Qode Slider? Now I only see options to upload files.
