Newspaper Theme license key only for 2 domain? this is new rules?

So currently, if I have more than 2 domains, say 4, I would have to purchase again? Because using an Extended License would be a loss for me, as I am not a developer. I am a blogger who owns at most 5 websites.
Is this your sneaky way of generating online revenue? Please consider a better policy; 2 domains are too few. Allowing up to 5 would be much better.
If you want to generate more income, you can offer theme modification services or custom design services. Isn’t that already more than enough to make a profit?
Please don’t be too greedy in seeking gains.

The policy of restricting theme usage to two domains upon purchase is certainly reasonable. However, enforcing such a policy retroactively after the purchase is a deceptive practice in product sales. The limitation of a maximum of two domains should have been clearly stated at the time of the theme’s initial purchase. I purchased a theme in 2014, and such a policy should only apply to themes purchased from the year the policy was enacted onward. It should not be retroactively applied to themes released years earlier.
but if you can help set my request (I have 3 domain for now.. but 2 domain is not my web again… so please set active only domain).. I think I can give a 5-star rating again…

I’m sorry if there’s a misunderstanding, but the license terms and license types are defined by Envato https://help.market.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005593363-Do-I-need-a-Regular-License-or-an-Extended-License Both license types are for a single website -> https://prnt.sc/CzNHsZlXPRGj These license terms were always the same. It’s not something that we can change. A license key was/is for a single website, and should always be used accordingly. We do allow a testing/staging activation besides the main website, if needed. The license assignment system we added some time ago is only meant to prevent license abuse.
Of course, the key can be moved to other websites, if its removed from the previous ones. We can reassign the key manually if its urgent, no problem there. I have checked the email you have sent us and I reassigned the key to the website you mentioned, also I removed the others. Please check as well. I hope that you could reconsider your review, and let us know at any time if we can help with something else.

I am using your excellent theme to build my website, and I truly appreciate your work.
However, I am experiencing an issue where icons appear as X boxes only on iPhone – Chrome browser.
The icons display correctly on PC – Chrome and iPhone – Safari. Even when I forcibly set the font-family to ‘newspaper’, the issue persists. I would appreciate any guidance on how to resolve this issue.

Normally the users themselves go through the subscription process, and that’s what creates the subscription. Subscribers can’t be created manually unfortunately. We may however add an option for that in a future update. But for integration with the woocommerce payment methods currently there aren’t any plans, the payment options from the plugin will have to be used.

Hello I need to install and activate the theme on a hosting with a temporary domain. I understand that the license is one per domain, when I make the transfer to the final domain there will be no problems right?

All the plugins (td_composer etc) have huge problems with security. Every day we clean malwares and every day there are new. This is happening a week now. You should do something for this

Currently there are no known vulnerabilities in the theme. The ones that were identified some time ago were quickly fixed https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-changelog/ Please note that malware can infect plugins, themes, even wordpress files. If there is malware on the website, its source has to be found and eliminated, or else it will keep infecting files. If you haven’ already, I suggest using wordfence to scan the website files, and use the scan option to scan outside the wordpress installation as well. Wordfence should find all suspicious files or code. If you want we can take a look as well, you can send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login for the website, also cPanel or FTP. And please mention in the email more details bout the malware and its behavior.

Thank you for considering our theme. Our theme does indeed provide a few features for creating a directory and listings.
1. There is no option in the theme for importing data from a file. It could maybe be done with a plugin, for example like this https://www.wpallimport.com/documentation/importing-an-xml-or-csv-file/ You would need to assign the data from the file to actual wordpress content. This may be complicated to do.
2. The theme provides a rating system on the website, like this https://forum.tagdiv.com/user-reviews/ Displaying Google reviews could be done with a plugin, like this one https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-reviews-plugin-for-google/
3. That would be a nice feature to have, and we will consider it. But I can’t say that it will certainly be added, or when it will be added. Our theme provides the basic features for creating a directory, submitting listings, integration with our subscription plugin for the directories, and compatibility with the ACF plugin for creating the post type, taxonomies, custom fields. Dedicated premium plugins will probably have more advanced options. And we will try to add more in our theme as well.

Hello! When activating the theme and installing the demo version, do I have to completely remove the previous theme and all its extensions? Or after installing and activating the theme, should I then remove the old theme and its extensions so that they do not interfere with the work of the new one?

When activating the theme, the previous one is automatically deactivated. If the previous theme had its own plugins, it would be best to deactivate them to avoid potential conflicts. TagDiv Composer Not Functioning Properly – Request for Update
Dear Support Team, I have already taken the following steps to resolve the issue:
Deactivated all existing plugins (only kept the ones necessary for the theme active). Restarted the server. Cleared the cache. Updated the theme. Despite these actions, the TagDiv Composer is still not functioning correctly. I am attaching a screenshot to illustrate the problem.

From what I see there are more issues that just with the images. The header search is not working, the block pagination. And all the website resources seem to be loading from AMP, on desktop. There is something unusual going on there. I suggest deactivating all non theme plugins as a test, to see if the website works and displays correctly. Although the WPBakery plugin is not required anymore, we still provide it in the theme package. We include the latest version for it, at the time when the theme update is released. Thanks for your inputs on this. However, we require the most latest version of this plugin. There are certain pages in our website designed using this plugin. Like you mentioned, one of my team member will send you an email for the latest copy of this.
I need to use a different menu for mobiles since the mega menu categories are not shown on mobiles. Is that possible?
Edit: Ok I found it! You have hidden everything somehow! It could be just added from the menu locations! Anyway, I found it and it works.

It’s not hidden, the cloud headers just have to be customized with the composer, including for setting the menus. A header can have 4 versions, desktop/mobile, sticky desktop/mobile, and they are each independent from each other. Meaning that they can display different elements in them, different menus, logos, etc. To see each version of the header and customize it, you just have to open the website manager in the composer and click on the version you want to customize https://prnt.sc/KbR7icfajxT_ Also if needed different headers can be used for each page or template, which expands the capabilities. Caching plugin WP Fastest Cache – we recommend WP super cache
You recommend installing WP Fastest Cache but the problem is that your theme support WP till 6.5 but WP Fastest Cache accept WP 6.6+
So I installed and Activated WP Fastest Cache but the warning is still there
Please disregard that cache recommendation/warning, everyone can use any caching/optimization plugin they want. It’s more of a suggestion, which can be helpful for some users. The super cache is a nice free plugin. But it does not mean that its the only caching plugin that can be used with the theme. Please use what you want. In terms of Wordpress compatibility, our theme works fine with the latest Wordpress version. If you find any issues, please contact us by email and let us know, so we can check as well.

Are you using Firefox version 134.0? Because we have identified an issue with it when using the composer. Some inputs and checkboxes may be missing from the block settings. Our developer team are already investigating the problem, something from the new Firefox version is causing this problem. In the meantime I suggest using a different browser if possible, if you want to use the composer. Please try it.

Something in this theme was recently hacked. I tried updating but it only stays on v11 not updating to v12? I have to redo the entire site again? This is exhausting.

We did release a few very important security updates since version 11 https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-changelog It is very important to keep the theme updated if possible, not update it after there are problems. This is the same for any theme or plugin. Or if for some reason you cannot update the theme, at least use a security plugin such as wordfence, to help with the website security.
What you mentioned is a bit strange. If you remove the old theme and plugins, and install the new ones, then the version should be the latest. And the website does not need to be redone after updating the theme. Not sure what is happening there exactly.
