Hey WpEstate Team, My customer pointed to me that “Longitude” value in property details can not be saved, any value there, after hit save and then reload, is not saved. Although “Latitude” is working ok. Can you check with any of your demo theme?

Hi, When we are editing the property page using elementor, The isue which we are facing as 1) Adding icon List : Even after adding icon , the icon is not visible on frontend. 2) Any Form : If we are adding any form then the form input field isn’t available at all.
Why we are doing above is, our features and amenities aren’t limited to specific keywords or taxonomy, that’s why we need to enter static Amenities.
Let me know the feasibility and solve this bug ASAP.

There are 2 ways to use Elementor for Properties, but you cannot combine them. You can only use one or another.
For Property Page – contact form can be added for agent as the contact form section (when you manage the template from theme options) as you seem to do
Or you add the Contact Form Builder as you wish via the Custom Property Page template https://help.wpresidence.net/article/create-a-custom-property-template-with-elementor/
If you need to edit the Property Description section with Elementor – then the Contact form must be added from theme options layout manager https://help.wpresidence.net/article/how-to-manage-the-theme-options-property-page/

I was running my website smoothly with WpResidence version 4.20.1. After updating to version 5.1.0, I’ve encountered a serious performance issue — specifically with the homepage.
The problem is:
Subpages load quickly without any issue.
However, returning to the homepage by any method (clicking the logo, using the back button, or direct link) takes over 20 seconds to fully load.
This issue did not occur before the update.
For context:
I’m hosting the site on a Vultr VPS
Using PHP 8.1
Website is freshly set up, with minimal content and no heavy plugins.
Please advise if this is a known issue or if there’s anything I can do to resolve it. I’d really appreciate your support.

Hi. Please check if you do not have any caching system in place. Clear all cache (cloudflare, plugins, server) . The last theme version is tested live and this has not been replicated before.

I do not know if you can use a plugin for elementor to show the single property page images. Elementor template loads specific widgets for property, but the widgets add details based on the property fields.
So if you need to add the same images to all properties, your idea may work.
But if you wish to add different images organized like that for each property, your idea would not work for sure. I can check a specific plugin for you to confirm, but the logic of plugins in general may not be helpful to do what you wish since the image organization does not exist in the property management by default,

I have a page created for Rentals, and that tag is included. I have tried both Newest and Newest edited sorting, but none of them shows the property in question. I have even disabled the caching plugin, nothing seems to work. Do you have any other suggestion?
Let me point out once again, I have changed publishing date for that property to April 2nd.
Hi. We do not use the date – it is newest edited, meaning any edit in the page. So if you Edit the property and save it, it will be considered newest edited. No matter what change you make in the property – this uses the newest edited

Hi there, this is a pre-buy question. I was looking into wp-estate and wp-residence. I want to set up a website where agenciaes (and their agents) can upload theri properties por sale and for rent. Also i want to know if the theme has something like “static url” for agencies and/or agents – maybe not static url but possible throug dns or redirect. Thanks in advance.

Like city state area? Because in the documentation its shows how to enter them manualy. I want to buy the theme and thats my only holdback. And for ex. the state has linked citys like the csv file, can I import like that the taxonomies in bulk?
Hi. WP All import is a general tool. It imports Custom Taxonomies too (and Cities and Areas are custom taxonomies)
BUT, in import – the connection State – City – Area will NOT be imported.
So you will only be able to import independent list of categories names.
Which, if you plan to use front end submission – will mean all States – Cities – Areas show independently
And in wp-admin you would need to edit each category to connect it.
As mentioned before, the theme does not have a built in import. This is a workaround with WP ALL IMPORT – but all import tools you try to use would do the same – import taxonomies independently

This is just a comment, it would need to be researched online.
I am not sure if importing 13755 records in wordpress categories is a good idea in general. WordPress taxonomies / categories load all terms from database. A list with 13755 records may create speed issues.
The WpResidence theme has auto-complete for submission form for Cities and Areas – using Google Places or Open Street and has autocomplete with theme saved cities, areas, states in search form. We have not see a lit of 13k items in a dropdown with categories – but it may be a general limit of wordpress for such a number. It is worth to check this before buying a theme to be sure it will work.
If you have tested a wordpress solution with 13k categories and works, then I am sure you can find a solution with a theme that supports import and can save conditional state – city – area

The Recaptcha was added to Register Form only because clients wanted to show other visitors this type of security, but it was added only to this form.
Please note that all theme forms (register, login, contact) are already secured by default with Wordpress Nonces which helps prevent spam.
The theme default conact forms can be replaced with contact form 7 – which has recaptcha, but this alternative has its specific functions and design.

Hello I am interested in the subject, but I have a doubt, in your documentation, appears the option of how to link a property with an agent, but in the case that an agency decides to change an agent linked to a property, it seems that only the admin can do it and not the agency directly. Is there an option to edit the agent responsible for a property from the agency account, as we intend to offer it to multiple agencies and we can not be working for them reassigning agents in case they change them.

Ok I understand, we previously used a theme called real homes, but it has a serious flaw, is that when deleting the properties it does not delete the images associated with the property, leaving orphan files that occupy storage on the server, causing a high cost in junk storage. does your theme ensures that no junk files of this type are left?
Hello. When the theme modification was released to support images as gallery, allowing same images to be re-used for multiple properties, the possibility to delete the images with properties uploaded in front end was changed too (images now stay in Media)
I do know if this will be changed, but now images stay always in media as they may be used for other properties too. I will add to wishlist for further review.

Hello i just asked to my hosting provider set the php to PHP 8.0+ but immediately the wordpress has problems, I read this theme needs that PHP 8.0+ , is this setting PHP 8.0+ neccesary or the theme could run perfectly in php 7.4?
Hello. Minim PHO 8.0 is required for most plugins and applications for WordPress. We do not recommend using 7.4 with the theme and some of the 3rd party apps included require 8.0 minimum

Hello. Thank you for the comment. The theme does not offer built it IDX service. It would not be possible to do that.
I do not know what is a free solution for you. Maybe an iframe provided by your MLS which would use your MLS code to display properties. But these are independent from the theme and you may be able to use the iframe on any kind of platform.
To use MLS properties in our WordPress theme, the options are one of those listed below: All are 3rd parties
1. Do your import from MLS – if MLS allows you to take the feed as xml or CVS you could use an import plugin like WP ALL Import – https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-residence-add-on-for-wp-all-import/
2. Use an IDX plugin which means you use the plugin features/design for all what is connected to properties. Such plugins are 3rd party, paid and installed separately. More info can be found http://help.wpresidence.net/article/ihomefinder-optima-express-idx-support/
3. There is another 3rd party which imports from RESO ready MLS (with specific conditions) via API – https://mlsimport.com/ But this is a separate service and it works in a specific way. Yes, it costs to use the service but you need to have RESO WEB API access from your MLS (which is a different kind of service than being a member)/ I cannot help know what are the costs to get the API feed from ARMLS
