I have a few questions regarding the theme’s functionalities:
1. WP All Import Support – Does the theme support WP All Import? Specifically, if we import property listings from our CRM via an XML link, will it function correctly? 2. Interactive Map Feature – Is the following functionality possible? Properties displayed on a scrollable, interactive map with clickable pins. Hovering/clicking a pin shows a preview (with details and images). Clicking through the preview leads to the full property page. We cannot assist with WpALlImport. I will reply what I know about them WP ALL IMPORT is a 3rd party import plugin that works with xml and cvs. They also offer custom development services as well if you need a custom solution for your specific xml feed.

Import of properties is very sensitive. A missing element in import can create issues and it’s very difficult to pinpoint the error – that’s why unfortunately we cannot offer support for third party import/xml. But they may be able to assist with what you need to do as we’ve seen these plugins work with other clients.

Hi, we already purchased a license a few years ago and have been using it in our website but lately we run into various issues with our site and i want that we start over with the same site into a subdomain to use it for testing/developing so in the end if all is fine replace our main site content. So the subdomain will be like a clone of the main site which has the licence attached, Therefore i would like to know if we can use existing licence for main domain and 1 subdomain if both are the same. We do not have an upload option – except adding images in submissions – which is possible on mobile phones (but there may be phone permissions that need to be checked)

Hi, I’ve had a look at your demos and couldn’t see a feature that allowed site visitors to submit an offer on a property listing. I see there is some kind of customisable form functionality (where custom fields can be added) – would that allow such a feature? And if so, is that built-in template option functionality or would I need to be adding that using Elementor? Thanks!

We have the option to start the submission not logged in and finish it logged in.

Hi, thanks—I was asking more about offer submissions rather than listing submissions. ie, if properties are listed on the site and people visiting the site want to make a (non-legally-binding) preliminary offer on a listing to indicate their interest, would it be possible to add an offer submission form to every listing with some custom fields to take those offers? If the listing template is editable in Elementor and I had a forms plugin that was capable of handling dynamic fields (ie, populate a field with the current post name), would I be able to add such a form into the listing page? So I am not relying on the functionality of the theme in this case? Thanks.
Hi. I do not know if this can work. We never tested plugins with dynamic fields. I do not know if dynamic fields need to be coded to work with the form, or if such widgets can pick up any kind of field.
The situation with WpResidence is that is loads a template when that template (which has a specific name) is set to be loaded.
The widgets we have are developed by us for property page.
I do not know if what you wish is possible in this case

I want to share property listings with clients via email; however, these properties should not be visible to other users or appear publicly on the website. I attempted to change the property status from “Published” to “Published Password Protected,” but this did not help. The property content is still visible.

Hello. We do not have this kind of option included in the theme and for custom port types what you try to do is not a native option.

Edit the property listing in the WordPress admin.
On the right side in the “Publish” box, click “Visibility: Public” → Edit.
Select “Private”, then OK.
Update the property.
Result: The property is only accessible to logged-in users with the right permissions (typically admins or editors).
Search engines and public visitors will not see it.
You can send the direct link to a client only if they have login access.
Or you need to use a Plugin for Member-Only or Client-Only Access which works for custom post types as you wish
We have not tested any plugin in particular. This would need to be tested by you to see if any plugin fits with the exact options you wish

Serious problems with updates, latest version of support expired but only wrote two votes since installed that it has always had problems with php code, now I asked for assistance to update it and they answered me like this: Updating the theme is not covered by customer support. It is necessary to follow our documentation and perform the update. I explained to them that I have updated it several times but it crashes the site. I have encountered an issue: After I register a new Agency account and approve it, when I log into the Dashboard, the “Add New Agent” function does not work properly.
Specifically, when I click on “Add New Agent”, it redirects me back to the homepage instead of opening the correct add agent form.
The Agency profile has been fully completed, the user role is correctly set to “WpResidence Agency”, and the “Add New Agent” page exists and works properly for admin accounts. I have also updated Permalinks, but the issue persists for Agency users.
Could you please advise how to fix this problem?

I see 404 errors from Elementor PRO and missing lat and long for the initial map load (but this can mean several things)
So one of these is causing the issue
Check map lat and long in theme options are correct Check map lat and long for search are correct if you use custom map header Disable the PRO plugin to see if that makes any difference

I’m currently using the WPResidence theme, and I encountered a problem with the “My Location” button on the map.
When I click on the “My Location” button, I receive the following alert:
“The browser cannot detect your location!”
I have tested this on several browsers and devices, and here’s what I found:
✅ Mozilla Firefox correctly detects my location.
❌ Google Chrome, Cốc Cốc, Safari, and most mobile browsers fail to detect the location.
The issue persists even when I have already granted permission to share location in the browser settings.
I have confirmed that my website is fully HTTPS secured.
Could you please verify whether the theme is using navigator.geolocation.getCurrentPosition() correctly? Or if the theme scripts are blocking/handling geolocation errors too strictly?

If you have more technical details, please send them in a ticket in support to see exactly what WPML said. We have not had such a situation and we do not know what WPML meant by theme cache.
Theme does not cache pages – and you can disable it too to test without the theme cache.
If you another cache – maybe a plugin or CDN – disable that to confirm.

We do not use Elementor PRO by default, but we have no information about any incompatibly between Elementor PRO and WpResidence either.
As far as online info goes, Elementor PRO is at version 3.28.2
Update Elementor free, Elementor PRO and the theme and included plugins at the latest version as first step. Maybe Elementor PRO had an error in their plugin which they solved.
Elementor free and latest WpResidence version are compatible 100%

Is it possible for anyone to add their property and is language selector availble to Arabic?
Hello. The submission can be done in Front end too. On our main demo you can register and add properties (they will not be published, but you can test register and front end submission)
There is no language selector like multi language.
If you need 2 or more languages at the same time, only a multi-language plugin can do that. Since the theme supports several features (advance search, custom fields support) not all plugins can work. We have been tested by WPML and Weglot plugin developers http://help.wpresidence.net/article/multi-language-3rd-party-recommended-solutions/
Weglot works without any special code needed from us.
For WPML – Based on the assistance of WPML plugin developers, we made the theme WPML compatible (we integrated special code from them to make certain elements translate: custom fields in particular).
Please keep in mind that WPML is a multilanguage plugin which is paid. Must be installed and used separately from the theme. It requires admin translates everything manually from wp-admin.
Also, the support for the plugin is normally done by WPML or Weglot as the support code is based on their documentation and instructions. They tested the theme before confirming it is WPML or Weglot ready. If there are settings we know of how to translate, we help without issues. But if there are problems, these have to be fwd-ed to plugin developer support.
This would apply with any other 3rd party plugin.

Yes, the theme does come with a child theme that is recommended to install and activate if you plan to make your own code modifications. The child theme allows you to inherit the parent theme’s features, styles, and templates while making changes without modifying the parent theme directly. This way, you can safely update the parent theme without losing your customizations and it is easy to adapt your child theme code customizations if the parent theme files changes demand it.
You can find the child theme included in the theme pack, and it contains the minimal files needed to set it up for your custom changes.
The theme adding house listings is not done in the same way as creating standard WordPress posts or blogs. Instead, the theme has its own dedicated system for managing property listings (which are custom post types)
You can add properties in wp-admin or in front end if you let user register as users, agents, agencies or developers.

Hello. Thank your for the ticket. As we mentioned via ticket, the litespeed cache that comes from hosting has all cache options enabled and affects the installation process. Most clients do not even know the plugin has cache on, as it comes by default with hostinger.
We have helped in the ticket created in support. We reset the setup – disabled the options from cache litespeed (not the plugin itself, but the options) and we imported san jose demo for you. We shared all the details in the ticket

Pre-Sales question: If using the IDX Plugin for MLS integration, does it allow for importing properties dynamically or does it require manually creating a property in the theme admin and building that connection? Hello. I do not know what IDX plugin you refer too. There are several options
To use MLS properties in our WordPress theme, the options are one of those listed below:
1. Do your import from MLS – if MLS allows you to take the feed as xml or CVS you could use an import plugin like WP ALL Import – https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-residence-add-on-for-wp-all-import/
But usually MLS do not provide XML feed.
2. Use an IDX plugin which means you use the plugin features/design for all what is connected to properties. Such plugins are 3rd party, paid and installed separately. More info can be found http://help.wpresidence.net/article/ihomefinder-optima-express-idx-support/
These would not import the properties.
3. There is another 3rd party which imports from RESO ready MLS (with specific conditions) via API – https://mlsimport.com/
This can import properties and sync them via RESO API.
If you refer to the 3rd option, the plugin is separate from our theme. We can explain how it works, but it is a separate solution. But yes, this can import and sync automatically.
