Hello, I need to deregister the theme. I was using it on an old website installation, which is now offline, and I would like to use it on a new website. How can I deregister the theme from the old installation?

Also, please note that the current URL is temporary, as the site is still in development. I will need to deregister it again once I move the website to its final production URL.

We have deregistered the purchase code for you. You should be able to register the theme now.

You also have an option to deregister your purchase code via deregistration form at our Help Center in “My Products” section of your account.
If you are unsure about the domain where the theme was previously registered, you can enter any url (like google.com), and in the error message the correct url will be written.

I am updating a very old version of the theme. Do I need to do a tiered/step update and if so, where can I get access to older versions?

Hello,

Only the latest version of the them is available on ThemeForest. There is no repository with older versions.

If you have a very old version of the theme, before you start update we recommend that you create a backup of your site, so in case something unexpected occurs, you can restore the backup and try to update the theme again. You can learn how to easily backup your website here.

To update theme and bundled plugins please follow instructions from the video tutorial in this link and please don’t skip ‘10:34 – One final step after updating the Bridge theme’ part of the video.

If you have Envato Toolkit plugin on your installation, keep in mind that this is an outdated plugin. Just go to /wp-content/themes/bridge/framework/modules and remove the whole folder envatowordpresstoolkit Now you should use Envato Market and the procedure is pretty much the same.

After you update the theme all of the plugins with available updates will be listed in Appearance > Install Plugins. It is important to install Bridge Core plugin which will be listed there.

One more thing you need to do when you activate Bridge Core plugin is to register your purchase code in Bridge Dashboard. Theme options, shorcodes and meta boxes are now disabled if theme purchase code is not registered on live server.

The qode buttons in the header bottom right do not appear on the mobile menu on this site https://downtown-beautybar.com/. Is there a setting for those to appear (Book Now and Purchase Specials)? Thanks!

These widget areas are not part of mobile header. You can try adding links to the menu itself (you can create separate menu for mobile). One more option is to add links to top area and use css to show top area on mobile.

This plugin shouldn’t be used with Bridge theme. Qode Essentials Addons plugins is meant to be used only with Qi Theme.

I have a problem at mega menu

When I minimize the screen (responsive mode) and open another menu (like a dropdown menu),

and then expand the screen back to full screen (desktop view),

the menu is broken, e.g. the letters are overlapping, which I can check from the code, the menu is height = 0

Different scripts are loaded for different screen sizes and the best way to test responsiveness is to access site directly on a device. When you resize the browser window and don’t refresh the page the distortion occurs.

Hi there, I updated Bridge on my site recently and now have a bunch of broke shortcodes.

I think because your version of WPBakery has deprecated some widgets that you used in the past. Is there a way to fix this?

This is most likely because Bridge Core plugin is not updated or because you haven’t registered your purchase code in Bridge Dashboard. Theme options, shorcodes and meta boxes are now disabled if theme purchase code is not registered on live server

Please navigate to Appearance > Install Plugins and check if you updated Bridge Core plugin. Also, please check if your purchase code is registered in Bridge Dashboard.

One last question – sorry our support expired – project got put on hold and we are just now building the site. Can you use a revolution slider in place of a Qode Slider ? There is a page setting for slider. Layer Slider or Qode Slider Shortcode Copy and paste your shortcode located in Qode Slider -> Slider

Other themes update all of them automatically. You are behind. Make them automatically. I don’t ask how to manually update them..

Please follow the instructions from the video tutorial linked in the previous comment. You can use Envato Market plugin to update the theme if you are not familiar with FTP update method.

Just purchased Bridge – my understanding is WP Bakery Visual Composer is bundled w/ Bridge (useing theme 212) and I do NOT need to purchase the license – however WP Bakery is not displaying as an option pages or posts. I’m also trying to open a Qode support ticket but am unable to login to Qode- tried several browsers and just keeps displaying the ‘Working…’ message. To enable page builder for all post types please navigate to WPBakery Page Builder > Role Manager, select “Custom” from the “Post Types” dropdown, check all of the available options and save changes.

Demo import won’t work… it gets stuck.

Usually demo import issues are related to weak resources and you can see our recommendations regarding those in this article – Recommended PHP Versions And Resources And How To Set Them. Also, if you are perhaps using some cache plugin, please deactivate it. It’s recommended that the cache plugin stays deactivated during demo import and while the site is still in the development stage.

You can try to repeat demo import several times, but before you repeat it, please navigate to Appearance > Menus and delete menus, so menu items don’t get duplicated.

We also recommend checking the video tutorials for demo import in this link. There are video tutorials on how to WPBakery as well as Elementor demos. The XML demo import method (which is a lighter demo import method) is also covered in these video tutorials.
