Only the latest version of the theme will be available on ThemeForest. If you have backups of your site (with previous versions of the theme) you can use them on localhost for testing purposes.

What is everyone doing about the known vulnerability in WPBakery and Slider Revolution?

This flaw enables attackers with contributor-level access or higher to inject arbitrary scripts to affected websites. The vulnerability affects WPBakery plugin versions up to and including version 8.6.1.

Users of the plugin are encouraged to update to the latest version of WPBakery, which is currently version 8.7.

And Slider Revolution has a vulnerability also .This vulnerability makes it possible for an authenticated attacker, with contributor-level permissions or higher, to read arbitrary files on the server, which may contain sensitive information.

hello i have been trying to make the bridge theme faster , and i have looked at the gt metric waterfall and there are alot of werid ccs theme bridge issues .. i havent updated my theme to the latest one but there is alot of like back and forth when getting a theme your suppose to look for a light weight theme that loads fast that can get a good score this bridge theme i hard to make fast ,,, i have talked to support and there like contact your server and its this blame game of whats causing the issue can someone help me tune my site so it runs faster or look at it threw gt metrix and help me identify what the bride theme is taking 2 seconds to load i can identify what file is being opened for that.

We develop only premium themes, which means that they are a bit larger than average basic theme. The theme is optimized, however, we wouldn’t call it light weight as Bridge theme has 630+ demos and a vast number of options and elements.

First, we recommend updating the theme and plugin to the latest versions listed in change log.

Then, you can adjust theme performance options in Qode Options > Performance (please see screenshot).

If you haven’t optimized media used on your site, then we highly recommend it. You can use our Qode Optimizer plugin for this purpose or some other plugin your prefer.

I am looking for information on how to update from an older version of Bridge (10.1.1) but it’s impossible through your support channels. I want to run PHP8.3 and updating the conventional way just leaves me with a page full of unsupported shortcodes. Is it even possible to update from this old version to the latest?

This is most likely because you haven’t registered your purchase code in Bridge Dashboard. Theme options, shorcodes and meta boxes are now disabled if theme purchase code is not registered on live server

Hi, I’ve been helped by your support all through the process of making my website BUT now the support has expired and I notice a bug. I’ve set the featured image in all the blog posts but they aren’t shown and at their place I see the Bridge logo (https://www.siamostormi.com/wp-content/themes/bridge/img/logo.png). Open Graph is a protocol used to influence the way a web page is shared on social media – it uses metadata on the webpage to define every single piece of data related to sharing (link, title, description, image, etc). Note that we do not have Open Graph integrated into Bridge. For more control over the content of sharing, you should install some third-party plugin that handles the Open Graph protocol (like Yoast or some other you prefer).

Hi! I add 2 plugins and they’re working for the featured images but not working for the description of the blog post or page. So, in the WP editor of the blog post I go to Qode SEO and I add the keywords and the description but the description is not read by the debugger of Facebook. Not even the plugins I installed read the description (Rank Math and OG – better share). So what can i do?

Bought and launched the theme. Installed all required plugins (also tried installing recommended ones too). Doing this on wp local application. The problem is that none of the bridge dashboard pages is working (Bridge dashboard, System info, Import) I open any of them and its just blank page of Wordpress admin dashboard. How am I supposed to import a demo site I want? Tried increasing memory limit and debugging, no errors, no console errors, network tab fetches everything with no server or client errors.

Maybe it works because there are existing instalations, not the fresh ones?

Can we schedule a quick video meet with one of your team members so I can showcase it better?

On xampp it worked for me, but i still need to make it work on localwp.

This is most likely due to the some configuration setting you have in your localWP installation. Please understand that we are here if you need any help with theme, however, we cannot debug your localWP installation. This is outside our support scope.

As you may know, WooCommerce releases new versions of the plugin every few weeks. This means that some of the template files we use in our theme might show up for you as outdated. Note that most of the WooCommerce updates do not change anything critical, so it should not have an impact on the theme’s functionality. You can go through the Checkout process to make sure everything is working fine. If everything appears normal, and in most cases, it will, you can feel free to ignore the ‘out of date’ warning.

I can confirm that your theme has malware infection and its completely untrustworthy. I’m not trying to screw your business here but you’ve certainly screwed mine.

You’ve cost me so much time and so much financial damage as an agency relying on your rubbish theme. Luckily, I only have 2 clients using Bridge Theme.

For nearly 2 weeks, I’ve been trying to get to the bottom of how directories/folders are getting created, plugins are being switched off and malware infection has been continuously coming back and spreading within 48 hours of cleaning the website or restoring to a copy 6 months ago as well as 5 years ago when the website was initially built for a client.

Steps I took 1. I installed a fresh copy of the entire bridge theme, plugins, wordpress cms files which didn’t fix it. 2. I re-created a new database with different login details (wp-config) and that didn’t fix it. 3. All of this failed and luckily i had a back-up of the website I developed back in 2/6/2020. This was my last hope. I restored it back and about 45 min ago and guess what? Malware is back again. They created a folder called ‘notification-master-pro’ and folder called ‘cidaas-pro-master’. They deleted the WPBakery plugin, disabled yoast etc… 4. I deleted the entire Cpanel account and re-created a new one on a brand new server on a completely different and highly secure network. I restored back the 2020 copy and again it got infected. Nothing you say here is going to convince me other than your Bridge Theme is open for malware infections and requires urgent patching. 5.There was no plugin on there that’s externally used. So there is 0 chance of them exploiting through another plugin developer that is not part of your theme.

They are hacking through your rubbish Bridge Core theme.

Now I don’t know if your elementor users are also affected but WPBakery is basically done.

I built hundreds and hundreds of website both on WPBakery and Elementor using so many different developers/theme developers on ThemeForest. None of them got hacked or had a malware infection.

We are sorry to hear about the issues you’re experiencing, however, we couldn’t reproduce on our end and no other user has reported anything similar.

Please ask your hosting provider to scan your website for malware to determine the cause. If there is anything we can do we will gladly help you.

Also, since you are saying that the issue occurs when you restore 2020 backup version of your site, please avoid using it. This version is definitely using outdated versions of themes and plugins and not the latest ones. It could be that your database from this backup is infected.

We understand your frustration, however, we assure you that the theme is scanned for malware and vulnerabilities and latest version of the theme and Bridge Core plugin are safe.

Here is the screenshot.. ‘contact’ page is redirecting to a page like this.

I don’t give a dam what you think or whether you have reports. Your theme is basically hacked.

The theme is not hacked and we are sorry to hear that your sites are getting hacked, however, the point of malware entry can be anything. Most likely point of entry can be either the server, in which case you should handle this directly with your hosting provider, and the second possibility is that the malicious content originates from your computer, and it was transferred along with some of your content.

We understand that you are frustrated about the situation you’re experiencing, but please contact your hosting provider to scan your website for malware to determine the cause. As we previously mentioned, we couldn’t reproduce this on our end and no other user has reported anything similar.

Hi, the theme updates seem to be missing key files and giving an API error for Optimizer, QI Blocks, and the Envato plugin isn’t connecting with the API at all. Can you provide the missing files or provide an update/fix? I’ve verified that my server has all the necessary parameters for TSL and PHP.

The Qode Optimizer and Qi Blocks are free plugins available in WordPress.org repository. They can be updated directly from Plugins section in WordPress dashboard. Also, these plugins are optional and you can deactivate them if you’re not using them.

This could be caused by some third party plugin. Please deactivate all your third party plugins except bundled plugins (Bridge Core, WPBakery or Elementor, Slider Revolution…) clear browser cache and check the page. If the issue disappears, activate your plugins one by one and try to find the plugin that causes the issue.

Hi guys, I have a problem and I wanted to see if there is a solution. I created two menus, one for PC and one for mobile.
