I saw this theme uses mls import which is what I’m considering. But do the images get imported from the MLS or does the plugin use the image urls from the MLS itself?
Hello. Thank you very much for your interest. MLS Import does not import images. They use the image URL from the MLS CDN. To be easier to confirm this, I share this screenshot from a demo with MLSImport – https://prnt.sc/kbyeIiI_TDSU – the image path is to an URL different than the domain where it is installed. That path is from the MLS CDN.
In wp-admin – Media – the images show as preview (the image links are to the MLS CDN).

Very poor experience buying this theme, they say it works with Gutenberg and there all the demos are built on Elementor only.

The WP Residence theme is indeed compatible with Gutenberg — you can build pages and posts using the block editor. However, most of our demo content was created with Elementor, which offers more flexibility for layout design and faster setup.
If you prefer to work exclusively with Gutenberg, you can still import the demo data for structure and rebuild the pages using the block editor. Elementor is the most used page editor, and most of the theme shortcodes are built for Elementor but you can also use Gutenberg.

Your answer sounds to me like you are giving a presentation on Elementor not addressing the core issue I raised which is that you didn’t stand by what you claimed. You said your theme supports Gutenberg, means I bought your theme to build a real estate site using Gutenberg not a post or blog. Your Gutenberg blocks are not even enough to build a section for more than featured properties. So it was a mistake to buy your theme and I still stand there.

If your main goal is to use Gutenberg exclusively, it may be better to choose a theme built specifically for that workflow. There is a “Gutenberg Ready” tag on ThemeForest that can help you easily find such themes.

I am a happy customer and in the version 5.3.2 on September there is a Fix: Button click for upload location as .cvs. In that page i can read i can have a sample file of CSV importation “To Import use a csv file with his header: State, City, Area. Or use the sample file from wpresidence-core/samples/import-locations-sample.csv”. Do i need to install any other plugin and how can i exactly create the locations CSV import file format. Can i also include in the locations the information like descripction of the area and all of the rest of info relative to each county/city/area ?. In the link is set there is not a sample file!!!!. You can use the actual file from the theme core plugin to create the CVS; you do not need a 3rd party plugin.
You can easily create your own CSV using any spreadsheet editor (like Excel or Google Sheets) — just be sure to save it in CSV (Comma Separated Values) format with the exact headers above.

The Property Reviews Label in the user interface does not display the correct translation even though it has been translated in the Theme Options. Other labels display correctly. This issue appeared after updating to the latest version from 5.1.1. Is there any fix for this?

HI, Once again, after an update, I lost all my PINS in the back office and now I have to re-import nearly 50 PINS icons one by one!!! I didn’t have this problem with the last 3 or 4 updates, but version 5.3.2 deleted all the imported items… This happened regularly in previous updates… I thought it had been fixed now, but apparently not… I’ll just have to bite the bullet and re-import my PINS, but what a waste of time!
I’ve had a new problem with version 3.5.1. Every time I upload a new property with additional images, the images disappear after a while. This didn’t happen before 3.5.1. Now I’m on 3.5.2… hoping that the problem has been fixed… I will be sure to keep you informed.
I really love this theme

We always check, verify, and fix any reported item that is confirmed to be theme-related, but we can only do that when it’s officially reported through our support system: https://support.wpestate.org/
I completely understand how frustrating it must be to lose over 50 pins in an update and have to reassign them for each matching category and type. However, this is a very unusual situation since the pins are media images stored on your site (uploads), they cannot be deleted by a theme update itself. We’ll need to review your setup in detail to understand what happened.
Please open a ticket in our support system, even if your support period has expired. We’ll check your current setup, export your options from the previous theme version (where the pins were intact), then perform a test update on our side to see if we can replicate and investigate the issue further.
Regarding the property images disappearing after upload in version 3.5.1: We haven’t had any similar reports so far. The images are now handled as galleries, and they can be used repeatedly across properties without restriction. If your images disappear after upload, we’ll need to check your setup carefully, how the images are added and whether any third-party plugins might be interfering and what actions you do before images are removed. This test needs to be done, when confirmed, with all your extra plugins disabled too, to be sure one of them is not creating this situation. There are plugins that can create this issue too.
We haven’t been able to reproduce either of these situations yet, but we take every report seriously that is 100% guaranteed. Each update we release focuses on improvements, stability, and compatibility with the latest WordPress and plugin versions and we check any reported situation in support.

I re-import all my pins now and make an export of the options. If the problem persists after the next update, I will try to re-import my options, but from memory, that didn’t work for the pins ;-(

I have a question before purchasing. I want to enter the property prices on the page in dollars or euros (the property price can be in dollars or euros), but I want the customer to see it in Turkish Lira on the frontend. Is this possible?
Hello. In WpResidence, the price is saved and displayed in the same currency you enter for the property (and you can only set 1 default currency in theme options, not two). The theme doesn’t automatically convert prices between currencies on the frontend.
You can, however, enable the multi-currency widget so users can manually switch currencies to see the approximate value in Turkish Lira, but this is just a visual conversion, not automatic per property.
To summarize, the theme does not have the setup you need.

if you have done these steps and cannot see demos, it means you use a hosting with litespeed cache plugin which has all options on and breaks the process because of its settings.

I am having some issues on my current live site so thought to install the theme on a staging site, but as wp residence only allow one license for one domain i can not activate it on my staging site without deactivating on the production site. But every time i try to deactivate the license from WpResidence Site Settings -> WpResidence License its not working.

Same situation after updating to 5.3.2 – the core plugin was updated but couldn’t be activated. Only after disabling wpbakery builder could the core plugin be activated and then wpbakery be enabled again.

I saw you created a ticket with the exact log message. We had already reviewed the previous report and applied a solution based on that, since we couldn’t replicate the issue on our side. However, it seems there is still a situation to investigate, which we will do through the ticket you created.
The message indicates that the Bakery auto-complete (which we added to match the latest Bakery version) is blocked because Bakery is already active. This is why everything works without problems when Bakery is activated after the core plugin. We have tested by adding Bakery, updating the theme, and updating the core plugin, but we still cannot replicate the error. It appears this may be triggered only in a specific server configuration.
We will follow up with the results directly in the ticket after we complete our checks.

When that option is set to no, even if you may have left the register widget or shortcode in pages, the register is completed disabled

Hi there, To solve the issue to activate the WpResidence – Core plugin, i had to desactivate first WPBakery Visual Composer and Ultimate Addons for WPBakery. Then activate WpResidence – Core plugin. And re-activate WPBakery Visual Composer and Ultimate Addons for WPBakery. ... But my website was OFF during 20-30mn ;-(

From the error, it looks like WordPress couldn’t load certain functions from the Core plugin because of a conflict.
We have run several update tests (including a fresh test from 5.1.0 to 5.3.1) without any issues, so I’m not sure why deactivating WPBakery and then activating the WpResidence Core plugin made a difference in your case. Normally, our recommendation is to re-install the theme and then the included plugins, to make sure all files are correctly updated.

For example, from which theme version you updated, whether WPBakery was updated to the latest version included in the theme package, and any other details about the process. Hello. I want to use Residence theme as an intermediary between those listing and those inquiring – acting as a middle person between the agent and prospects.
I want restrict communications to be between: - the website owner and prospects; or - website owner and the agents and not between agents and prospects. Prospects do not engage directly with the agent.

There is no built-in setting that completely blocks agent-to-prospect messaging and forces all communication through you (site owner) only.
You can put your custom agent with your email as agent for properties (manually edit the agent in this case) . In this setup your agent appears on the site and contact messages go to your agent email inbox.
But if you need properties fully managed by front end registered users, this manual setting needs to be done constantly. There is no automatic control.
There is also no private message system between agents and site admin. There are contact forms you can add to pages you create, but there is no automated system.
