Hello. I searching in your demo and documentation and i don’t see a way to make a page with 1 city and with numbers of rooms. For example i want to get house from New York with 4 rooms. Can we do this?
Hello. Thank you for the message. The theme has specific list widgets. You can create lists by categories (state, county, area, category, type, features and amenities and status). In your request – 4 Rooms needs to be set as feature and amenity and you could make a list like this.
In search you can add City as taxonomy / dropdown and Rooms as a dropdown too – and users can search the city / room combination to get specific results.

We do not have a page template. In search form – what you select redirects to search results. This kind of list can be copied into a custom menu – but the search form matters. You change a field in form, the link format changes.

Hello. If you create manually a page from pages – add new – add your custom slug and add the list widgets I mentioned first, you can do something like this.
If you wish the page with such URL to be automatic – it is not possible.

Thank you very much for your help. However, from my understanding, this solution feels more like a temporary workaround rather than a proper, native fix.
The reason I say this is because I already have the Rooms option available when I add a listing — both in the admin area and on the frontend. Therefore, I don’t understand why this option is not also available inside the Elementor widget, so it can be used directly in the filter bar as well.
The proposed solution does work, but it comes with some important limitations. For example, if I want to add other filters from this section — such as Pool or any other Features & Amenities — I won’t be able to do so because this option is already being used.
Another issue is related to usability when adding a listing. Currently, I have to select the number of rooms once, and then manually enter the same value again (for example, “4”) in the rooms field. This means modifying the same information in two different places, which feels illogical and error-prone. Don’t you think?

The theme purchase itself is a standard ThemeForest license (regular, single‑site), not an extended license. You can use it on one domain with all the included features, including payments for submission and paid membership.
What is extended is our license for the bundled premium plugins: WPResidence holds a commercial/extended license so we can include those plugins and deliver their updates inside theme updates. That’s why you don’t need to activate those bundled plugins with your own license.

This is no issue between WPResidence and Elementor. When a site goes down after a theme update, the most common cause is the theme was updated, but the required plugins (including Elementor-related ones) were not updated at the same time. You need to update plugins from the header notice, or from Appearance – install plugins.
It can also be related to server side, the update process did not complete correctly on the server. Or you may have a conflict with cached files, custom code, or a child theme
Restoring the backup was the right first step.
To help you properly, we need to check the site directly. Please open a ticket in our support system and include:
- Your site URL - Temporary wp-admin access
If wp-admin access is not available or the site breaks during updates, please also include FTP details (hostname, username, password, port). This allows us to verify the theme and plugin versions and check error logs if needed.

Hello, Regarding the error you have, 503 error can be caused by one of these 3 situations, which we can help check with access to wp-admin to confirm which applies
Confirm server requirements and PHP limits (503 is usually a hosting resource or timeout issue). Use Tools > Site Health > Info > Server and ask your host to raise limits if needed (especially max_execution_time and memory_limit).
Disable all caching/optimization from 3rd party cache plugins you have added before importing (especially LiteSpeed Cache if your host auto-installs it). Caching can interrupt long imports and cause failures; turn everything off, purge cache, and retry the import.
Ask your host to verify outbound HTTPS/cURL access and firewall rules. Import relies on WordPress HTTP requests; blocked or throttled connections can trigger 503 errors. Have them confirm cURL is enabled, outbound port 443 is open, and no security rules are blocking the requests.

Hello. Thank you for the comment. It is possible the listing is a demo listing and the 2 fields were not edited when other details were? The details can only appear if they exist in the property.
These two items are Property Custom Fields in WPResidence, and they appear in the Property Details section on the property page. You can manage them from Theme Options → General → Property Custom Fields (this is where the field definitions live), and then edit the values inside the specific property (WP Admin → Properties → edit the listing). If you want them to disappear clear the values in the listing so they don’t display. And if you wish that these 2 fields are not used at all, remove those fields from the Property Custom Fields list.

The submission form was not updated with the new fields and I added them – but you can check further to add any new field/feature based on this help https://help.wpresidence.net/article/property-custom-fields/#submit-form and and And in wp-admin – edit property – the tab for custom fields is the 3rd one in tabs, and you were expecting to see them in the default fields tabs. Front-end management only (no wp-admin access)
Yes, real estate agents can manage their activity using the front-end dashboard. They would need to register with an AGENT account first. If the account is approved automatically or manually by admin, it is chosen by site admin
From there, they can:
- Create, edit, and manage property listings
- Upload images and manage property details
- Edit their agent profile page information
- View inquiries and manage their own content
Agents do not need access to the WordPress wp-admin area for normal day-to-day listing and profile management.
Actions that require wp-admin access wp-admin access is required only for site-level administration, such as:
- Site Initial site setup and configuration
- Site / wordpress updates
- Managing theme options and global settings
- Managing users / registration
- Creating or modifying taxonomies, search fields, pricing packages, or submission rules
These actions are intended for the site administrator, not individual agents.

Searching accommodations and services on the same site
WPResidence is a real estate theme, not a generic directory theme. However, you can choose how you structure and present your listings by using the available property categories, features, and amenities, all of which are managed by the site admin.
We created the theme having in mind that all listings are treated as real estate properties. Categories, features, and amenities can be customized, and you can also edit the default real estate labels if you wish to better match your project’s terminology.
The theme uses:
- One submission form, which can be configured to show or hide fields by site admin. But there is a no way to make a different form by a specific category selected.
- One advanced search system, which can be configured to include specific categories, locations, and custom fields
Because we don’t know the exact market or use case you are targeting, we can’t guarantee that the theme includes every feature required for your specific industry. But it is designed to be used for 1 market, not multiple types of markets in one site.
Filtering by region (cities, provinces, areas) Yes. The theme includes built-in location-based taxonomies such as State, City, Area, which can be enabled in search filters in different setups which are visible in our demos. https://wpresidence.net/#demos
Additional filters (amenities, pet-friendly, etc.) Yes. WPResidence supports custom fields and amenities, which can be added as search filters. At the moment, WPResidence is developed specifically as a real estate theme, and we do not have plans to expand it into a multi-purpose directory covering multiple, unrelated service types within a single site. Our focus is on improving and extending real estate–specific functionality.
We also do not currently have plans to release a separate directory-focused theme for mixed services such as housing, medical, legal, and other industries combined in one platform.

WPResidence does not have an inbuilt object cache to cache heavy DB Queries. Unlike WPRentals, which has this option.

Why don’t you create a magazine style theme for property information ? Not necessarily with a search feature. Just a property style mag. That would be useful for someone like myself.
