I don’t quite understand what you mean. What checkboxes are you referring to exactly? As an admin you should already have access to all those wordpress capabilities from your screenshot. Please remove the default comments from the cloud post template and instead add that code in a raw HTML element. 1. Those are all categories, they are supposed to have links, which lead to the category pages. If maybe you want to make them not clickable, the easiest way is to use some CSS and disable the link. We can provide a solution for that.

3. I don’t quite understand what you mean unfortunately. This is a theme demo, created for submitting a custom post type. It isn’t mean for regular posts and articles if that is what you mean. But if you can mention more details I can provide a more accurate answer.

In Newspaper, if you use the “Header Login” element from TagDiv menu, there is no link to the Opt-In Builder login page. Instead it goes to a pop-up login box which looks boring and different to my theme. How can “Header Login” link to a page? Thanks.

Hi, Is it possible to connect to Razorpay or Zoho payments for processing the payments or is it only Paypal?
With addition to the above, when we create the customized form for frontend posting. Can we assign the fields for 1) image alt tag 2) Excerpt 3) If using Yoast plugin, can we assign a field for Focus keyword, SEO Title and Meta description from frontend
The available payment methods are bank transfer, PayPal, Stripe. Additional payment methods can’t be added in the plugin unfortunately.
I haven’t tried something like that before, but maybe it will work to create custom fields with the same name as the ones Yoast creates. You could test it, it requires finding out the exact names of the fields that Yoast uses for focus keyword, title, etc. and creating them as fields in ACF. Then submit a post and fill up the fields, then check to see if it worked.
For the image alt tags it will probably be more complicated. I can’t say unftunately if its possible to do something like that, or how. It will most likely require a custom solution.

Feature request. Hi Simion It will be of great help if you can also provide the option to select in which category the users can post based on the subscriptions. I belive this option is not available currently. Can we get this feature in the next update?
The Wysiwyg field which is added in ACF is not visible in the fields dropdown of TagDiv. What is the workaround
Right now you can choose to display all the categories https://prnt.sc/S5ni_d9TucA7 and limit the choices based on the plan But there’s no option to display specific categories only, unfortunately. We may add an option for that in the future.
For adding text you could use the text or text area custom fields https://prnt.sc/IYJjwBaDXwq3 Not all the field are supported to be used in input forms yet.

On the demo site, it isn’t shown among the paywall demos, yet in the WordPress admin demo importer it’s listed under the paywall category. Does the Town Talk Pro demo include a paywall feature? Any of the demos can use the subscription plugin and features. The demos are just design basically, the theme its the same. The Town Talk demo should be in the paywall/membership section, I see it isn’t so we have to correct that. But if you like the demo and you want to use it, please use it. The demo includes all the necessary elements for the paywall. Or, if you like a different demo, you can install that one and simply add the paywall elements to it. I’m impressed by the theme and the level of support. The explanation about demos vs. theme functionality makes sense, and it’s good to know the Town Talk demo already contains the paywall elements (and that I can mix and match demos and add paywall features to other demos if needed). I’ll go ahead and use Town Talk for now and may install the subscription plugin to enable the paywall.
I’m likely to buy more Newspaper licenses for my other sites, great work and thanks again for the help. If I run into any issues while enabling the paywall I’ll post on the forum or email support.

I have a question regarding author photos in the Newspaper theme.
In post templates, there is an author box with an author avatar/icon. However, in the WordPress user profile, I only see the option to use Gravatar. I don’t see a built-in way in the theme to upload a local author photo.
I don’t really see Gravatar as a practical solution, since most authors do not have a Gravatar account. I’ve tried using several third-party plugins that add custom user avatar/photo fields, but when I upload a photo via these plugins, the image does not appear in the Newspaper author box.
Could you please clarify:
Does Newspaper support local author photos (uploaded directly to WordPress)?
Is there a recommended plugin that is fully compatible with Newspaper for author avatars?
Or does the theme intentionally rely only on Gravatar for author images?
If possible, is there a documented way (filter / hook / setting) to make the theme use a custom user meta field instead of Gravatar?
I’d like to avoid Gravatar and use locally uploaded author photos if possible.

Currently, our theme does not include a built-in feature for uploading author images. The simplest and fastest solution is to use a dedicated plugin.
While there are several plugins available for this purpose, many of them are not fully compatible with our theme. One plugin that we have tested and confirmed to work correctly is Simple Local Avatars.

I am using the Newspaper theme with WooCommerce and TagDiv Composer WooCommerce product templates.
I also use a third-party plugin for additional product tabs.
When I use the standard WooCommerce single product template, everything works correctly:
The Attributes tab is visible
Custom tabs from the plugin are visible https://g-energomash.ru/product/topka-tshpm-1-5/When I switch the product page to a Newspaper WooCommerce builder template (TagDiv Composer), a conflict appears:
Only the Description tab is shown
The Attributes (Additional Information) tab disappears
If I disable the custom tabs plugin, the Attributes tab immediately appears again.
This means the plugin works correctly with the standard WooCommerce template on Newspaper, but breaks only when the Newspaper WooCommerce builder template is used.
I need to keep this plugin because it supports export/import of tab data and is already integrated into my workflow.
It seems that the Newspaper WooCommerce product template does not use the native WooCommerce product tabs hooks (such as woocommerce_product_tabs or woocommerce_output_product_data_tabs), or overrides them in a way that prevents third-party tab plugins from working.
Could you please advise:
Which hooks/functions Newspaper uses to render product tabs in TagDiv Composer WooCommerce templates?
Is there a way to enable native WooCommerce tab rendering inside the builder templates?

The issue you’re experiencing may be related to a CSS rule that is overriding others, which could be causing the Attributes (Additional Information) tab to be hidden. However, it’s also possible that the cause is more complex.

Our theme includes a child theme, which is provided as part of the theme package and can be downloaded from your ThemeForest account.
Please note that the child theme is intended for standard templates only. If you are using cloud templates, the files associated with those templates cannot be overridden or managed through the child theme.

I’d like to report a behavior related to the Main Menu and Sticky Header in the Newspaper theme.
In Cloud Templates → Single Template → Main Menu, I have enabled “Drop menu items in More”, and it works correctly on the initial page load.
However, on single post pages, when scrolling down and the sticky header becomes active, all menu items are displayed again instead of being dropped into the “More” menu, even though the option is already enabled.

It seems the sticky menu state does not fully respect the “Drop menu items in More” setting from the main menu configuration.
Could you please confirm whether:

Hello, I have tried many times to remove the mobile logo unsuccessfully. When I add a new logo, the old logo is still there. The problem is only on mobile. I have cleared and reset the cache in my web browser and also tried a different browser, but the problem remains the same. I went to the mobile section, added a logo, removed the logo, and nothing changed. What is the problem? This should be very simple, but it isn’t.

This occurs because the logo element is configured differently in the desktop header and the mobile header. To avoid having multiple H1 tags on the page, you’ll need to disable the H1 on the logo in either the desktop or the mobile header so that only one logo uses the H1 tag.
Please enable the “Disable H1 on logo” option for all logos except one. Only a single logo should have the H1 enabled.

I’ve requested a check of the license key, and it appears it has not been used correctly. A license key should be used on one live domain and one test/development domain only. In your case, the key appears to have been used on more than 10 domains.

Yes, even though that PHP version is deprecated, the latest theme version will still work with PHP 7.4.16. However, you need to be careful with the WordPress version and other plugin versions, as they may no longer be compatible with such an old PHP version.

As long as the tagDiv Mobile Theme plugin is being used, it is not possible to display sidebars and widgets. These can only be shown when using the responsive version of the theme.

1. Guest/user fills a frontend blog post submission form

Frontend publishing is possible with our theme, we added these features quite some time ago https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-12-update-is-live-explore-the-new-features/ and we added a few demos for them. These features can however be used regardless of what demo you choose to install.
Most of the requirements you mentioned are possible, with some clarifications:
1. The guests don’t fill the submission form and then subscribes or makes the payment. The guests must subscribe and pay first, and then they will be able to submit posts or other types of content. The status of the submitted post can be draft. An editor or admin can verify and approve it. In the submission page you can use custom fields to collect all the information you want, please check for example some of the listing demos https://demo.tagdiv.com/select_demo/newspaper-prebuilt-websites/?demo-type=directory
2. The content of the post can’t be limited, so the number of links of any kind can’t be restricted.
