Avada Layouts and Postcards SEEM like a move toward flexibility, But they’ve made absolutely ZERO effort on some of the basics. There will ALWAYS be a complexity or performance issue on every layout, except for the most simple and inflexible ones – DEFEATS THE OBJECTIVE.
Headers can be a nightmare!!
And simple custom post types aor blog layouts, NIGHTMARE! For example, in a postcard you cannot set the media size of a background slider, so you will serve full size images in your custom blog and custom post types if you dare to vcreate a modern layout. Also they don’t allow responsive setting on every element, so it is impossible to achieve some simple layouts. And when you place a content block inside a container in Layouts, you get a doubling up of formatting which adds weird spacing to the content. And nested columns are so dumb, you cant even set any padding, or other setting on teh nested columns container, it inserst unformattable html elements between want you set want and what it will look like.
You cannot really even replicate its built in blog (card) with post cards. It is soooooo limiting, and has been for soooo long, its like we;’re constantly stuck in the inbetween step of a good idea and horrendous exexcution.
Why on earth would we only have some parts of elements with responsive control. I mean one of the most obvious is that we need to set different flex setting for different screens.

Layouts and Postcards are indeed Avada’s move towards more creative freedom and we have nothing but amazing feedback from our customers on it, I am not entirely sure what you mean by complexity or performance issue here so we will definitely need to have more details on that before we can provide a more precise response to that.
Headers simply work the same way as pages with same live editing freedom, the experience is exactly the same and delivers right on what they are supposed to deliver, same is the case with nested columns, however indeed the responsive option set is not available to all elements and that is simply to give more responsive freedom over already responsive theme, in any case you can always use visibility system to have more control over the content.

I agree Avada has grown and it is no doubt a great theme, but if one looks at the control one has on Elementor on every single element you have 100% granular control on all responsive settings. Why are there so many areas still where you cannot have a different style for an element for (one of many) examples, why cant we set a span on button for mobile, and no span on desktop (that should be a given) but there are many of these scenarios, There is always something that just stops one from being able to do basic responsive layouts. I can use custom css, sure, but why? Visibility is not a solution to these omissions, it just adds an extra complexity for us, where a simple ui is missing on yoru side. Done get me wrong, I like Avada, I’ve just lived so long with these what I thought were intermediate ommissions while you deved. But now you are just so far behind what should be standard out the box. Been a while , every single css setting on every single element should be able to be individually set everywhere by now.
Post Card Image element does not have a way to choose the small version of a featured (product) image in archive’s when using dynamic featured image, or in the Post Cards element, so every archive thumbnail will be a full size image. That’s ridiculous!
I have question .can i get support from support team to increase file upload size in avada form for videos because it is just 100mb?

We’re getting a “request timeout” error in the images section when uploading demo content. This error occurs even though all server resources are configured as requested. Is this a general problem?

The prebuilt website import is working fine on my end, I will suggest you try with minimum 3rd party plugin(s) active and see if the demo is imported fine, in other case you can use our alternate import method as mentioned in the document post here => https://avada.com/documentation/alternate-import-method/

How to activate a license key on each subdomain?
Regarding your product licensing, you have to purchase/own a license for each publicly accessible domain install of the theme. Regardless of whether the installation domain is a sub domain or not, if it is publicly accessible, it requires a license.
If you are migrating to a different domain and you already have your product registered with your original purchase code etc, you do not need to purchase a new license; You can simply add your registered purchase information to the new installation’s product registration tab.

Hi! For some time now, I’ve been unable to import images from Avada’s default themes onto my site. Furthermore, the Avada RSS feed isn’t displayed on my dashboard on any of the sites where I’ve installed Avada.
I checked with my provider, and they say some of your IP addresses are blacklisted on https://www.abuseipdb.com/ and that their firewall isn’t allowing access.
Could you confirm if this is indeed a valid hypothesis? Or do you have any other suggestions I could try to import the images? Thanks so much!

- Demo import (especially media) - RSS/news in dashboard

Hello Avada Team,
I’m experiencing a strange issue with Avada Layout Builder for WooCommerce.
When I try to open Live Builder for a Single Product Layout, Avada does not load the correct layout preview.
Instead, it redirects me into the Live Builder of the homepage (front page).
Exact behavior
Path: Avada → Layouts → Single Product Layout → Live Builder
Expected: Live Builder opens the Single Product template preview
Actual: ❌ Builder loads the front page layout instead
So I cannot visually edit the WooCommerce product layout at all.
Additional info
This happens consistently
Not product-specific
No JS errors in console
Happens even after disabling non-Avada plugins

WordPress: latest
WooCommerce: latest
Avada: latest
PHP: 8.2
Hosting: Hostinger (soon migrating to Hetzner)

Hi, I have updated the theme on the website, but after the update, when I try to enter the purchase code, it says:

The purchase code is registered multiple times so that’s why its registration is limited. Please reset / unregister the purchase code from your support account -> Licenses – My Avada You must be logged into your account to see that page.
Do not remove the purchase code from there but click the blue color Link Icon. Now try to register purchase code on your actual website and see if that works.

I’ve searched the error on google, and found several avada running themes displaying this error on their front page. I currently don’t have it showing on my front page but it prevents avata theme options to load.
