Just little things :
-Picking colors in Masterkey causes a great load and slowdown as long as I let the color picker open
-Login on top header : could it be more customizable ? Choosing redirection, displaying a dropdown menu when signed in (with custom page redirection)? In its present state, it’s not really interesting (for me 
). I’d really like to let members of my site choose a variety of redirections from this login “point”.
-Is it possible to choose a wide layout (full screen) header and a boxed layout for body, footer,etc

Hi, thanks for choosing our item. Letting Mastekey settings open for long time causes this issue and we will check the color picker script in our coming updates. I will add these features for login section to make it more customisable. Regrading your last question, you should hack the code or use child theme. you will need to modify footer.php, page.php, single.php, archive.php, single-news.php and single-portfolio.php to achieve this. You will need to wrap the footer and theme-page section into mk-grid div to convert them to boxed layout. Thanks

I hope this isn’t a dumb question, but could you share what practical steps I need to take to upgrade from v1.3.4 to v2? I read the “Migration to Jupiter v2.0” documentation, but there were no steps to demonstrate how to do the upgrade. Do I just re-download the theme from the top right hand corner and re-import it via the themes section?

Hi, do you check this in our current demo? if so we did not change the demo to v2.0 as we are build new installation to reflect all of its features. If you have this in your own website with v2.0 please give me sometime to check that in IE8 to know if it really has problem. but generally you should not have such issue in in new version. Thanks

1- Does the theme offer the RTL function, ( for Arabic, Hebrew posts ) .. and for all the entire theme ? 2- Does the theme support Arabic fonts, and if not can we buy a specific plugin that works good with the theme ?

Hey thanks for your interest. regarding tot your questions :
we have rtl.css that has some basic css to align right the content. but since most of the shortcodes has the feature of “align” you should try to make your content and put custom css once per need, then reflect all these css into rtl.css file. we do help for such small css tweaks in our support forum. Regarding the font you should buy a font and follow some steps to incorporate into the theme : http://artbees.net/themes/jupiter/docs/#TypographySettings

Yes definitely you can put sidebar in any page, in fact everything you see in jupiter is shortcode, blog itself is a shortcode so you can put them into any layout you like. Thanks

One quick suggestion: Alphabetize the element grid or somehow separate them by usage. I cant visually find what I’m looking for without filtering
Also I think Icons with the names would help tremendously.
Hi, happy you liked it. we have work on it and will surely make it better. we did not want to put png icons for performance issues, but in coming updates we will design and convert them to font icons. only then we will add icons for elements. Thanks for your suggestions.
A quick pingdom test shows my homepage is larger and is a second slower now.
Every page of my site uses page sections so it looks like I have a lot of work ahead of me…
Is there another way to make a full width page header image aside from a page section? I tried a full width row but it only allows images 1100w. If I upload an image, why can’t it just start with the actual image size instead?
Oh thats a lack and we have missed it, I will put an option to image shortcode to disable image cropping and put the actual size. this will come in v2.1 you pointed out to a serious issue that I missed. how many pages you have with page section? I dont think each page will take more than 2-3 min.
All of my pages had pages sections-maybe 20-25. I ended up doing the quick convert for all of them and then manually adding back in every page section element since the way in the description kept creating a blank page or a spinning loading bar. All worked so far except for my portfolio pages which are blank.
Is your demo site updated with 2.0? I’d love to see it working so I can find out what is new (along with the change log)
Masterkey looks much nicer now and the new page editor seems quite nice. I just wish I knew what the features were since I have my whole project on hold while I make the update.
I am sorry if the v2.0 is pain in the ass but we had to move away from many old scripts and it will benefit alot in long run. You can check the update log in item description now and by tonight the new demo will be live with new features. Thanks
My page composer has disapeared.. Not sure why this is the case as I followed the installation instructions. Any help would be most appreciated.

Hi, I followed the instructions for installing LayerSlider on my wp site. It acts like it’s uploading but then I get the following error message:
Are you sure you want to do this? Please try again.
Is there something obvious I’m missing?
Hi, LayerSlider is around 6mb and your upload limit is less than this amount. please go to your hosting admin panel and increase upload limit to 10mb and execution time to over 10min. This will solve the problem. if you dont know how to do it, contact hosting company and they will do it for you. Thanks

Hi, The dummy data you have in v2.0 is converted to new version and the documentation => “page template” section as well. Ajax Portfolio section is commented in the code as we found a little bug last second and did not want to release it without proper testing. Ajax search also will be coming in new version. Thanks
Yes, but is there a simple way to convert the existing dummy data. In other words, I bought the theme a month ago and installed all the dummy data. So how do I update that dummy data within my site to the new format without going through that laborious process.

Hi, we are using Visual Composer latest version. but you should know that only backend is being used. we have some modifications on it as well to adapt to our theme environment.
For those who will update from v1.3+ to V2+
In V2.0 we have done huge changes to both backend and fronted. these changes were performance improvements, new features, bug fixes, new design in Masterkey Framework and a new page composer with huge functionality.
I would like to take the time to appreciate for all your patience until I deliver this version. I have some notes and steps for your on how to migrate to V2.0
Please note that depending to number of your pages this migration may take from 10 min to 2 hours. so I suggest you to enable maintenance mode to avoid visitors see the site while you are fixing some issues.
We have changed the whole page composer with the newest version of Visual composer, it took a lot of effort to migrate our old page composer to new one as we had to do this process smoothly and carefully to avoid any issues that might happen to current customers. Good news is that we have migrated successfully without compromising anything and now its ready to use.
Why we have moved to new version :
1. Its coded with Backbone.js a library which adds speed to your process.
2. more easier to control, its drag and drop feature improved.
3. Rows have been introduced so you can have nested columns, columns into page section, tabs and accordions into columns and many more stuff that if you worked for a long with old one you will see the big change and possibility that you can achieve now.
4. Many small features such as new media uploader for gallery shortcode that I don’t want to point out all of them here.
What will happen to our contents that we built them with old page composer?
Since in new page composer shortcodes can not be placed in visual canvas, they all must be placed inside a row or page section shortcode.
In new page composer none of the elements are built-in columns. but This process has been automated. if you visit a page that built with old page composer you will face with a button that ask you to convert the page elements to new one. now here we have 2 steps :
—If you did not use page section shortcode in this page, here we go click on convert and thats it. check everything and delete empty text blocks that you may find between short codes (this is normal to see empty text blocks). Preview page and fix any column issue that you find is not converted correctly.
—If you have used page section you should follow below steps :
1. Once you arrive to the page click classic mode to switch to classic editor.
2. search for page section shortcode and insert vc_column shortcode right inside of it as below :
width=”1/” el_position=”first”] your short codes inside this page section stays here \mk_page_section
3. Once you have done with this process click on Page Composer mode and hit the button that asks you to convert the content.
4. As the content is converted visit back the classic editor and find the page sections once again and remove vc_row from where [mk_page_section] shortcode starts.
5. Also remove the closing shortcode tags of /vc_column wherever you find [/mk_page_section]
6. you will need to set the columns inside page section manually(in other places this will be converted automatically).
Thats all about it. if you need our assistance or feel you can not convert a page yourself please open a thread and leave your WP access. Our staff will work more hours this week to cover support issues more faster to make this migration smoother for everyone.
For anyone who have purchased the v2+ will no longer need to follow above steps and you can enjoy our new dummy data(that converted). We have updated documentation => Page Composer section to explain the new added sections in detail. We have updated Page Template section in documentation as well so you can use them with new page composer.
