Hi. Using the theme. Works great so far. No problems. Just a few questions:
1. Where to change/add new colors? That’s the one thing I didn’t like. The color palette options are pretty dull. Definitely consider adding some brighter shades. If I can add my own, then no problem. Just need to know how to do this.
2. I installed the Contact Form plug in. This allows for a custom redirect page (someone above asked about this). Not as pretty as your form but easy to set up and plenty of options. But…wanted to know where to find the customization options for duplicating your pages on the Live Preview such as FAQ, About, etc. Do you have to do all this manually or are there some templates or shortcodes somewhere like the layer slider?

2.) At your backend at enfold->theme options, if you press the dummy import button the theme will import most posts and pages from the demo installation. you can then keep what you like and delete what you dont like 
Awesome on #2. thanks! Figured it was hiding somewhere. On #1, what I mean is how do I add a custom shade to the color palette? I don’t really like any of the options. I’ve been all over styling but can’t find where you add a custom shade to the main color palette to change the color across the site.
Hey! Not sure what you mean by custom shade. you need to change the colors of all the sections individually, there is unfortunately no way to change them all at once…
On the live preview, it states: “Choose a predefined color scheme here. These are some examples. You can create any additional number in your theme backend.” How do I do this so it applies across the board—in the same way as you pick a shade in the scheme. If it can only be done individually, where would it be in the CSS to change one or more of the colors?
P.S. Dummy pages are fabulous. Kept seeing that option but didn’t realize what they were.
Hey! When you scroll down the live preview you see various color selectors in various tabs. thats where you can change the color scheme for a section and once you save it it will be applied to your theme.

It seems there are some major problems with the theme that recently came up:
1. Elements in a page (from the drag and drop interface) disappear without a reason.
2. Versions are not working at all. We try to recover to older versions, but nothing happens.
3. If a table is created, formatting within the table is lost as soon as a small change is made and we need to make all the changes over and over again.

Hello! Sorry for my english, i’m italian. I buy this theme with an other account business. I have a BIG problem: i can’t upload a single (or more) image to be used for the portfolio.
Gives me an error (look: http://oi43.tinypic.com/zoayqf.jpg at the right in red …). This error occurs with ANY image (jpeg, different pixels ecc …).
Why? I can not upload any work in my portfolio!!!

Most of the times I can get WP work again. But I have this error class-envato-protected-api.php, of a totally blank page on the wp-admin dashboard. So The first thing I did was renaming the plugins folder. This works 9 of 10 cases. Of course I enabled the debug function and than always get this error: httpdocs/wp-content/themes/enfold/framework/php/auto-updates/class-envato-protected-api.php on line 344 So read about it a lot, made some changes that waere suggested in the support of the Kriesi website but I’m out of idea’s now. we need to fix it fast so .. thanks in advance

Since i waited for days to get some proper support its now time to find some clear words.
For days and days we tried to get simple things done which seem to be almost impossible or at least horrible time-consuming with Enfold.
Here just some examples:
Blog-Views
For the Blog i want for archives a different view than for a single. The difference is so simple and small(single top image and for archive a images which floats left and has a different size) This usually is a very simple task but in Enfold you need to be a Nerd or a mad-professor. And not to forget: What we want to achieve can not be done by the Theme-setting (or if it can be done its so tricky that you have to be lunatic to understand that)
Two buttons in an Icon box in one line4 hours of trying and either you got margin-errors or the ALB did complety strange stuff
Knowing the structure behindWe often asked in their forum to produce a bit more transparency about their logic (which files are respnsable for what view/ output. You really have to beg for it – as if that is a top-secret case.
and even more…
Any attempt to get some support ends (too often) up in either / or… -Mod did not read the post thouroughly -the answer:”You can make that by settings” (and thats not true) or any other non-relevant answers
I am right now at the point where i think that a refund would be a good idea.
There are only two things which keeps me from that: 1: hope dies at last
2: i already spended around 60 hours of work in that Theme and i do not want to waste that time.
Not to mention all these other issues Enfold comes along with.
I really hope that Kriesi is smart enough to know that a positive convinced customer is hundred times better then a disappointed one and of course i wish to get my website ready as planned and that i do not have to restart with another theme

Hey! Thanks for the feedback. To be perfectly honest I am not quite sure how to respond here. I didn’t read the threads that you created yet, but from what it sounds like, all of your problems are based on the fact that you want to customize the theme in some way or another that wasn’t intended.
And although we try to help with small customizations we cant really cover extensive customizations, simply because even with 5 more team members we wouldn’t have the necessary manpower. Unfortunately some changes are either not possible with a quick css fix or would simply be impractical when implemented directly into the theme, since it would only benefit a small amount of users and create feature bloat for the 15000 others. So we are very careful when adding theme options.
In such cases I can only recommend to try to use our customization partner Werkpress who are doing customizations only and might be able to change the theme to the way you want it to be:

I am pretty sure that themeforest wouldn’t issue a refund in this case since the theme works fine and in fact most customers are quite happy, so lets try to convert you to one of those happy people as well
Just a quick reply because we are too busy with fixing Enfold
Even “out of the box” Enfold has enough issues and more ore less severe bugs to make a refund justified.

“Assign Images Bug” – button says “assign images” but what it does is “remove images”
Layout issue : Try to bring 8 Icon boxes in columns by 2 on one page and you will see (see our screenshot in your forum) What can be done by manual typed HTML / CSS in 20 minutes needs hours of testing with your famous ALB and even ist still buggy. Dooes your forum supports here??? NO!!
SQL- Bug: Have you ever seen a breadcrumb like this??:

I have never seen something like this. Until i used Enfold – and we run more then 200 websites with a huge variety of themes.
Where does this error come from?? I dont want to spoil your fun to find it out yourself.

are too much out of context to help. I need a full error description and I guess you already posted those in the forum?
Same with the other issues, like your layout problem or the sql bug. In the first case I don’t know what you are trying to do, in the second case I can only tell you that I have neither seen something like this before and we have the code for the breadcrumb navigation running on 50.000 themes.
So you either discovered a bug within the code that none of our other customers encountered yet, and in that case we will fix it, or there is something wrong with a plugin, a modification, a server setting, etc. etc.
I am talking about a fresh installation.
And i am really fed up with this kind of argumenation (“might be plugins / might be “heavy” customization of yours” / etc etc etc)
Further more: Since the support in your forum is so poor and your mods behave in a quite questionable way (“Your are not happy with Enfold? You can ask for a refund”) we decided to ask for support HERE.
Why? Very simple answer! Since potential buyers read here as well it might lead to a better support then to post our questions in a ghetto of people who have already bought the theme.
@stane Thats exactly what we faced too… Responds in the support forum are more or less useless and not substantial and often enough just wrong.
And sometimes they answer and havent even read your question.
Well, its a fact that neither me or my support team has encountered the problems you have encountered. 15000 people are using the theme and none of them has the same issues.
If the theme is working for 15000 people but not for you, the only logical conclusion is that something is different with your setup. I don’t ask for links to the site, to the forum threads, for customizations made, for plugins active and for server settings because I want to annoy you but because If neither me or my team can reproduce an issue, and also have never encountered it before, we rely on that information.
Since you are obviously not willing to give me that information please try to get a refund from themeforest. I dont know if they will grant that request but I am done here. Tried it the nice way but I can see when there is no point in arguing. I am sorry that we couldn’t help you.

BUG – Custom widget area causes disfunction of accordeon
If you use a custom widget it crashes the accordeon functionality.
It looks like a general error in your mark-up (missing closing div or something).
More Information in your supportforum (including the credentials to our developmentarea)

Hi, I posted this on support, but its somewhat urgent since its being used largely at my University So Sorry!
I updated to the newest version of enfold, and before the blog layout was perfect. I had each blogger submit a post, with their gravatar on the left side and the feature image on top. I used the settings “multi-author (shows grav..) and now with the new theme there is a new option for single posts (big or small) and on the old, there was none, and I think that is not allowing the gravatars to show up. Anyway I can fix this? Thanks!

Hey! If you want to make modifications to the css and want to make sure that they are save when updating I would either recommend to use and install our child theme: https://bitly.com/enfold-child
or use the quick css panel in enfold->styling.
Both options will allow you to add css that wont be overwritten

I’m not a customer of yours, I’m a developer at Modern Tribe, so I don’t have access to your forums. To my knowledge, there’s no modifications on this user’s site, its simply the child theme assuming that The Events Calendar is active when its not.
