Hi! Can the X Theme regular license be installed to a free basic wordpress blog? Is the $63 regular license for life? Thanks

The license is for a single use and can be used on the self hosted version of WordPress (not wordpress.com).
All future updates are included at no additional cost. The only additional cost would be if you wanted to use X on other domains. In that case you would simply purchase unique licenses for the number of sites in which you were wanting to use it.

I want to purchase this theme but i cannot find anything that tells me how easy this is to set-up. Can anybody set-up this theme or only IT professionals. My only concern is how difficult it is to create a good looking site. I have little experience building sites and i have never bought a theme before (in other words do i install the theme on my word-press and its now operational).
1. When i install the theme is everything installed or do i need to spend hours searching plugins and setting it all up? 2.Are there tutorials provided on how to set it up? 3. Do i need to know basic html or css

I have purchased the theme and really happy to work with this, but i have an issue in changing the link of home page.let say i have a custom home page home and i want user to land to this custom home page when ever he/she click on home icon of breadcrumb bar/also on the logo icon. i tried changing the url in settings but got no luck…Please help

The license is for a single use, so if you wanted to use X on say 3 domains, you would simply purchase 3 regular licenses. These same rules apply to all themes sold on ThemeForest.

Activating the parallax feature is an option on our Content Band Shortcode, and setting up a one page site is very easy (we also provide instructions in our member afea for setting up a one page site).

The Stacks are not interchangeable like that as they have their own unique features (you could almost think of them like themes within the broader X theme). For more information on each Stack you can check out this page.

I am impressed with this product. However, in the comments section it seems most of the people who are purchasing it build websites for a living and use this as a starting place/tool kit for their sites. I moved my blog from a wordpress.com site to a wordpress.org site today. I am used to purchasing a theme that basically organizes my content for me. Will this theme do that too or will I have to build every page from scratch using short codes? I have already imported my old content into my new wordpress.org site and am momentarily using a generic template they offer while I shop for a template. If I install this template in wordpress.org will it automatically adjust my old posts? Thank you for your time.

X acts like any other theme in terms of organizing content as you put it, and ,ll of the administration of your site (Stack selection, width, typography, etc) are handled via live preview in the Customizer.
If you have current posts/pages on your self hosted version of WordPress, they will pull through just fine then you can tweak as needed from there.
The Shortcodes are there to help achieve certain specific functionality and can be used as needed or not at all.

Thank you so much for a timely reply. So, if I buy the theme and say choose the Integrity theme, then it will start me a default setup. From there I can use the Customizer to adjust and add things as I want. Is that correct?
Also, once I purchase the theme, how do I add it to my wordpress.org account so I can actually use it?
Keep in mind that Integrity is not a theme but simply the name given to one of the Stacks in the X theme.
Activating X is like any other WordPress theme, so if you are completely new to that process, I would suggest researching on the search engine of choice how to instal a theme, etc as it is a very standardized process.
Once X is activated, you are correct in that you will use the Customizer to configure your Stack selection, layout, typography, etc. You can also see a video of our Customizer in action here.

HI, I would like to know if I can change the layout of my webpage after I configure it to a layout? I would like to change it every now and then to give it a fresh look so often. Right now I have another wordpress theme and it does not let you change to a different layout.

Hi, I am trying to understand how this will work. I want to buy your template, hire a freelancer to download and set it up, make some customized changes to utilize my current html copy and information and then turn it over to me where I can try to learn to make changes myself and host it with godaddy.
Can you tell how best to do that? Do I have freelancer download? Do I download? (Do I need dreamweaver)? Thanks,

It would be best to have whoever is going to be working on the site purchase the license so they have access to the transaction ID (and can register for support, video tutorials, knowledge base, etc). Any good PHP or WordPress developer will be able to customize X.
If you are doing custom code you would need some sort of text/code editor like Dreamweaver or something similar.

There were no issues per say with GoDaddy…some GoDaddy users had problems due to memory allocations on GoDaddy’s end but we have not had reports of that in quite a while.
I’m not following the second question as there is nothing to purchase from wordpress.org. Can you please clarify?

I don’t need the managed Word Press, right?
As long as the hosting package supports hosting WordPress (which most plans do), you’ll be good to go. We’re not huge fans of GoDaddy hosting, however if that is who you end up going with just make sure the plan can support WordPress. It does appear they have a new managed WordPress option, however you’d need to contact them for clarification on which would be best for you.

There is nothing to be concerned about just GoDaddy is not known for having the best hosting resources/configurations (imho). The theme itself will work fine, and as explained above the issues was related to a 3rd party plugin and GoDaddy not X itself.
My client purchased “X” and sent it to me. I’m trying to load the demo content for “Ethos 2,” but I cannot find the Importer… I have the xcs.json file and everything…

There are detailed instructions for importing the demo content in our member area. You will need the client’s transaction ID to register (can only be used once so either you or they will be able to register), and once logged in, you’ll want to check out this video as well as the provided resources on this page.

Yes all very good, but I need support and in spite of what you would be led to believe by looking at the posts on this page, once you click through and get registered with the support site you cannot actually raise an individual ticket, you just have the training, the support forums and knowledge base to wade through.
Unless I’m missing something, I want to open a support ticket about a specific problem I am having. How can I do this?

I love the layout for the Integrity Blog Option #1, but I’m wondering if it’s possible to have that layout be four columns, or even five columns (with a sidebar in the fifth column)?
Probably a stupid question, knowing that the Layout Designer looks awfully customizable, but just wanted to know before buying.

With the masonry option, you have the option for 2 or 3 columns as anything beyond that starts to make the columns too narrow.

Thanks! With a 3 column layout for the masonry option… can that third column be a sidebar? Or is there another way to achieve that? My goal would be to have the home page be a complete list of postings (paginated, of course) in Masonry layout, with a right-hand sidebar.

When using the 2 or 3 column masonry layout, you can elect to turn the sidebar on in addition to the 2 or 3 columns or keep it fullwidth.
